Something I wish I'd known sooner ....
In room 6 when you trade in the photos for the last reward the event ends.
I have lots of left over cameras to turn into photos for a better exchange at the end but can't do that now.
1 camera = 29 tep +20 cc
1 photo = 400 cc + 400 ep
If you hold off claiming the Gazelle right away you can continue creating photos until you want to close out.
Hmm ... this was a relaxed event ... no stress.

Here's a tip that gave my drops a boost: Use the following buffs to reduce growing time and plant your longest Baha vegetable crop.

Tiki Timer - 20% x 6 hrs
Essence of Wisdom - 6% x 8 hrs
Healing Ointment - 4% x 6 hrs

Add water and manure and your crop will reduce to about half its normal growing time.

Tiki Timers aren't sold in the market but they can be gifted from other players who have the cloud row. I'll send you one.
If anyone else would like a Tiki Timer put a request in this thread or IGM me.

Thanks for the heads up. Will hold off on room 6, the Gazelle can wait a couple of days.

 

For some reason I'm extremely low on Objectives but doing OK with Cameras. Any idea why? I've been milling high quality cameras of course, but at the moment I have 247 cameras and only 3 objectives. I know the drop rate is different but this is ridiculous.
I'm not used to struggling with drops like this.

I finished the event today and this set up worked for me.
Kept out the Manufactory and Menagerie which reliably gave 6 drops of each per harvest. 2 harvests a day on those.
The Arboretum is more random but gave around 2 of each drop from XXL bananas.
Had a couple of pens out (sea pony) but any that give 3 harvests a day would be equivalent. They were reliable with drops too.
I kept 18 rare trees out, all full length time, fed them turbo mulch and before harvesting used the buff Vial of Growth to speed them up.

The rest of the squares were used for growing crops.
Grew event crop during the day and vegetable crops (chayote/habanera) with buffs overnight (see above post)

I had no boosters, or baskets, used 1x1s and CAC. Bought the eye wateringly expensive manure! That can deplete millions of CCs during an event!
I didn't get a perfect balance between the drops but had enough as needed. I ended up with more cameras than objectives at the end.

Thank you sooo much Nala777. I started with Saguaro and ended with Chayote, both the crops poured good amount of drops initially and at the end. Tiki was very useful for Chayote. Ofcourse the first target was 10000 event crops!

I am too in the same position. May be shimmer, we are trying to finish the mill products first rather than the 4000 event crops. And we finished the steps that exclusively needed the drops before everything else. That might have created a shortage for us. I need to mill 10 products & grow another 1000 crops apart from these. I might finish it today.

I kept the Arboretum & Menagerie. They were good for drops. But did not have the pens & trees. But that's a good idea too. Manufactory was in Crystal falls for me. I didn't want to move & reconstruct it. Thanks for the ideas.

Plus another 180 to speed up the Souvenir Photos so they become Instamatic photos!

Practice, SG, SSG, CAC, Practice, oh and did I mention, Practice!

Just got my last harvest to do, mill another 9 HG Cameras - not forgetting to mill the HG Cameras with my extra crops - then get those Instamatic Souvenir Photos done and collect my Gazelle.

I thought you meant the HQ Cameras lol! I have been getting in a right 2 and 8 with all these different numbers!

Now I will collect Cameras and take more snap shots - how long can I hold on before I pick up my Gazelle?

 

I am finished! Yippee Many thanks to my "friends" and "Neighbors" who sent the gifts I needed when I needed them!
I now have to go put the CR up as the Gazelle is happily living on Crystal falls!
I did nothing special here, after beginning using 2x2's till ran low on green water I went to 1x1's and grew nothing but event crops till I got the 10,000. Then I grew some red bell peppers (6hr crop) to finish getting the cameras to finish the event! I was able to harvest at least 4 times a day!
Congrats to all who finished and good luck to all those working on it, you CAN DO IT and you have plenty of time left!

 

I finished too. Got the Gazelle. Clicking 180 times at a stretch to get the gazelle stall was somewhat irritating. But I did it.

A field full of anacondas and a managerie gave me 40 objective. May be animal pens give a good drop of objective than event crop fields ??

Done, finally. 188 1*1 Chayote gave 69 cameras, 54 objectives. 188 1*1 saguaros gave 137 cameras, 55 objectives. For the last step we only need 174 cameras. As soon as I donated 20 HQ cams to complete 5th step, 1 souvenir photo was immediately available. So, I only donated 174 cams instead of 180.

I have 68 photos, over 60 cameras and time to get more. I'm donating five cameras at a time now, and waiting the hour. That will stretch it out a little bit more. (greedy bugger) Hope I don't forget to get the gazelle, lol.
