Karen - Yes, please use the spray bottle technique on the food stealer neighbor cat! He obviously is already well fed...so deter him from stealing your new "angel" pookie's food.

    As far as the "debate"
on the welfare of animals. Yes, I agree there are differing of opinions...but I'm sure we All agree BohoKaren's herd is supremely well taken care of.:music: They seek out attention of new people and outings. What I really do Not like is the cyber-bullying of an "anti" group when they include all reindeer handlers as the enemy!!!! Yes, there are some reindeer owners who do not comprehend the proper care of these glorious animals. Animal control should be called on them. But to bully people who DO care wonderfully for reindeer and include them in that group is irresponsible!:wuerg:
It's as senseless as saying all horses should not be domesticated, but run free on the plains. Or that any event with horses should be not allowed.
I feel that bringing the reindeer to show to groups of people that may not otherwise ever have contact with them is beneficial to everyone. It brings awareness and appreciation to people, children etc. of how unique and friendly reindeer are. It also benefits reindeer to support their care and welfare. This is not limited to providing money for feed and vet bills, but conservation as people have shown to support animal rights and welfare when they have had actual experiences with these animals. "Spreading the Love"
Anyhoo....I'll climb off my soapbox now. :pLOL

p.s. Love the pic of Gandolf and the girls!!!!:inlove:

Nice to know that some people are still willing to stand up and be counted! Bless those people who have booked before and are still willing to book these wonderful reindeer again!:inlove: I just love seeing the reindeer in their Christmas colors, they always look so festive!
    Thanks for sharing!;)

I missed a cracking video... Took a couple of photos of 3 of my "Show Team" waiting for their afternoon feed and Pookie the cat too.
As I walked closer Pookie made a dash for hay barn, where she is fed, reindeer didn't see her until she was dashing under their noses and leapt backwards and so too did Pookie. Reindeer and Pookie hurtling backwards through the air simultaneously.
And then only seconds later all saying sorry to each other. [IMG]:)

Anyone in UK, if you are interested Boris, Mischa, Katya, Twiglet and Fergie will be "Stars of the Big Screen" or at least ITV. Footage will be aired on the 20th December with "Live Feed" from Welford Christmas Tree Farm... we won't be there on the 20th though as we are visiting a Special School that morning.
Arriving home. Celebrity status will probably go to Boris' head though. :)

Will certainly try and watch that. Will it be on the Anglia News or is it a special programme. I will also have to ask Boris for his autograph as well lol!

Lilac, I'm not sure as I usually watch BBC in the morning so not sure if ITV is regional but I will find out before airing. :)

Edit, Cleaning out trailer this morning was rather difficult with 4 reindeer climbing in, they did form a reasonable queue though! Who says they don't like going to see their adoring public. :)

And Pookie cat too.. She somehow got into pulling vehicle while the door was open but I noticed her curled up on seat before we set out. I lifted her out as I don't want her leaping out of vehicle 30 miles away from home. 5 minutes later she settles herself on spare wheel of trailer...
Pookie, you are "Home Team" not "Show Team" :)

Edit, only just noticed the scary critter in the markings on her bottom... :) Heehee... anyone else see the eyes?

Aww, Pookie sure has settled in at your farm! I believe she has picked her forever home!:inlove:
She is waiting for "her" antlers to grow so maybe you won't notice she should stay at home! xD She is a very pretty cat!

Yes, I can see the "eyes" in the markings on her. A cat can never have too many, as they need to be able to watch everything and everyone lol!

I have checked Pookies over and no scary eye markings... must have just been that photo. :)

Just a Mischa photo of our visit to a Private School last weekend.
