    SOS Thread : https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/sos-piece-of-cake.34386/

    This event had no event crop !
    Event drops: Voucher Piece [IMG]

    Drops come from all crops, trees, animal stable, workshops from Main farm 3 Land (main meadow, glade) and........ If you had magic tree, they give 1 per tree
    OR, a chance to come from breeding Hotel.

    This event like previous cake event. required player to play mini game of
    making the cake in 3 process/layer : Sponge, Icing and Decoration.

    Starting to serve customer with 2 cake then at later stage give 3 cake !
    Finished each mini game get cake point. from max 35 from 2 cake, 60 from 3 cake
    to mini 10cake point from 2 cake, 15 cake point from 3 cake
    Get mini mean you fail in total , not even 1 layer is correct.

    To play game, need to mill : Cake Voucher [IMG]

    Ingredient: 50 x Voucher Pieces
    Mill time : 60 seconds.
    (So, you know how a great amount of drop will be needed............);)

    As usual, BP give player some little help
    1) 3 free voucher given
    2)a deco call : Bakery shop will given when event start, it give1 voucher
    under certain of time, how long, sorry I can't find in the FAQ:wuerg:
    Edit: Old bakery shop deco are only EP giver, do not give out voucher,also
    Under Mooboy information. The bakery shop deco give out 1 voucher per 6 hr.

    Also there is another mill product help player to play game easier:
    Cake Boost
    [IMG]
    Ingredients: 40 x carrots, 40 x strawberries, 10 x pears
    Time: 3 hours

    Both mill product can be mill in main and tropical mills under event tab.

    So, what is used of Cake boost:

    1) you can use it to shorten 50% the Bakery shop Harvest time
    2)Like last seaon, It used to extend the mini game time. For detail, pls refer to FAQ

    This event had 13 lv, each lv finsihed by getting the required cake point.
    Finished all LV need : 2775 cake point(edit) hope this is my last edition:cry:
    But How many cake voucher need. Sorry, I can't give you as
    1)FAQ don't give us when will the mini game change from 2 cake to 3 cake.
    at which lv it will change.
    2)depend on player's skill, if player good at memory, achieve highest point
    per game. It will be quite soon. Otherwise............
    Pls keep milling the voucher or perhaps the cake boostxD

    Lastly, BP game team design, play 13 lv will give you a quite good Cloud row
    Gives: 300 EP x Farm level, 300 TEP x Farm level, 1 x Crate O' Baked Delicacies
    Cooling time : 20hr.

    Also, to give player motive, every sucess of Level 1 to 12, there is some not bad reward
    Edit : My bad, misunderstood of the table, It is 1 of the below reward!
    2nd edit: BP changed due to CR at LV 13, so LV 1 to LV13 all give 1 of below reward.

    [IMG]

    And from LV 13 afterward, yes, if you like, you could cont'd play even you finsihed the 13 lv. BP cont'd give you some decent reward.
    Edit : Just give you one of the following, My bad understood of the table :oops:
    2nd edit: BP changed that if you pay after LV 13, you will get 1 of below reward.

    [IMG]

    So, Players, want to join a bakery business and serve those lovely animals.
    Pls paly " Piece of Cake " event. xD

    I, in advance, Thanks any genius player stand out and give us the around number of vouchers need to finished this event as My maths..... xDxDxD

    I need to edit again, but not my fault, the FAQ had edition 8)

    Thanks Neddy for the very first kickoff of the new year. Thank you Joan for yet another SOS thread. I love baking, too. An event without a crop is a blessing. I need to build my barn. Back to back events have made it quite impossible to do regular farming. I'm in. :D;)

    Hi Fellow Farmers, Hope you had a good New year :D:) 2019 xD

    I think this is the 4th Time, we had this kind of Cake Making Event, as we will be needing Cake Vouchers to play Mini Game. We can obtain Cake Vouchers from Bakery Shop Giver every 6 Hours which can be half ed down to 3 hours using Cake Boost, Which is needed to be milled.

    Since I have played this event 3 times before, as I already have 3 x Bakery Store Givers it will be huge help towards playing cake mini games, which can be reaped every 3 hours:D

    I suggest to use all previous Bakery Store Givers,these can be aquired by purchasing Large Baskets for those whom not got them yet

    Hello farmers :)

    Previous Bakery shop items do not provide cake vouchers. Once their associated event ended, they were converted to a deco item.

    Please continue to enjoy planning for the event :)

    Ok I do think it is 2775 total for the 13 levels.. As if we added up the points... we would need way more then 4000 drops..

    I figured we will need between 47 to 80 Cake Vouchers. That's getting max points per game too. So I am guessing we will need many more.

    35 point 2 cakes = 80 Vouchers
    60 point 3 cakes = 47 Vouchers

    Any how, Good Luck everyone.. Make sure them phones/tablets/etc is charged too...lol And may the drops be with us.

    Neddy, thank you for starting this thread! You made my morning! And Jazac - thanks for crunching the numbers as best they can be crunched.

    My strategy is longish timed crops (avg. 8 hours) during the day, really long timed crops (avg 18-20+ hours) during the night and pray for rain...no, that's not right...drops.

    Last time around I remember making a one letter code for the cake layers. Some people took pictures with their phones. I'm not that phone adept, so I'll do like last year and have a letter code, pen and paper...I swear I'm not a luddite. It just works for me.

    Good luck to all. Nice cloud row...now I really don't mind having skipped the last event.

    Thanks Neddy for the start and FAQ overview!

    As carrots, strawberries and pears only are needed if we wish to speed up coupon giver harvest and/or wish for more mini game time, it's obvious this event is all about gathering drops. A good event for all to perfect our skill on getting the most.

    General knowledge:
    - the longer an item needs to mature, the higher the chance on a drop
    - when growing crops, using 1x1 fields seems to slightly increase the number of drops per field but isn't a fact!
    - trees usually give less drops compared to other items with an equal grow time

    The unknown factor always is which minimum grow time is needed to get the highest chance on a drop. There's no such thing as a guaranteed drop per x time.

    My strategy usually is:
    - Prior to event start
    * empty fields but keep menageries and manufactories
    * check menageries and manufactories on content and grow times; make sure long timers are in there. (And do not forget not to harvest before event started)!
    * fill up all of mainland with the longest grow time crop(s) on 1x1 plots, ready for harvest after event start.

    - Once initial harvest is done
    * review the number of drops gained per field (while shortest timed crop -carrot, wheat- is planted) If avg. 70-80 per field, normal rate, continue. If significant lower, very poor rate, consider to quit event as it seems not doable without payment.
    * review the number of drops gained from shortest timed crop. If avg. 2 per field, high rate, take these! (2 drops per field = 36 drops per hour!)
    * try and fail or try and success .. 1 field with 4-5 hr crop/stall, 1 field with 6-8 hr crop/stall, 1 field with 10-12 hr crop/stall
    * review the number of drops gained, compare to previous outcomes (poor, low, normal or high rate?), repeat with other timed crop/stall or switch to longest or shortest timed crops right away
    * overnight always longest grow time crop(s) on 1x1 plots on all fields, only if needed during daytime as well, experiment will tell.
    * alternative = using short/mid timed crops on Comfort Fields.

    All outcome amounts given are based on my farm with Living Legend rune at max and Howie rune. Without these the outcome will be different!

    Just determine *within a day* which crop/stall works and somewhat stick to it during the entire event. Done many many events this way and never came short of drops.

    For the mini game I'll go by B(rown), W(hite), P(ink), Y(ellow), O(ther) on a paper. Works perfect for me. :)

    Oh.. and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Thank you habalala for reminding us of your great Drop result strategy. There are always new farmers who want to participate. And some of us less new farmers need a gentle reminder(won't get caught with carrots in the morning). :oops: :)

    I ripped them all up - planted clover instead. Thanks everybody for the gentle push into the darkest corner of EFOCD. Clearly it is where I belong. -.-xD

    Thank you for starting and for failing. When one of us falls a bit it bring out those sharps wits of our fellow farmers, and make it a lot less scary for the rest of us. :inlove::inlove: And how fun isn't it to help each other? ( and I still hold the record for the most errors in a starting post o_O )

    SahraB Count Count

    I think if we play games without making a mistake, we only need 1050 Voucher Piece.
    Perhaps less ...

    35 points for 2 cake games.
    1st - 3rd games need 165 points.
    165:35 = 5 Cake Voucher

    60 points for 3 cake games.
    2775 -165 = 2610 points for 4th-13th games
    2610: 60 = 44 Cake Voucher
    Total: 44 + 5 = 49 Cake Voucher

    Every player will receive 3 x Cake Vouchers to try out the mini-game.
    49 - 3 = 46 Cake Voucher

    If you take an average of 5 Cake Vouchers every day from the Bakery Shop.(With Cake Boost)
    5 * 5 = 25 Cake Voucher
    46-25 = 21 * 50 = 1050 Voucher Piece

    Thanks to Farmers.Almanac post I checked my barn and found out I have over 1000 unconverted Cake Vouchers ready for use! Also found out a little later one of the old Bakery Shop givers I've kept running still gives them out.

    Indeed, too good to be true so I thought it was wise to ask about it in general issues. Too bad the new Cake Voucher is tagged (marked) differently and thus the unconverted ones can't be used. Gah. There goes my thought of completing this event within a day ;)

    Played this before and I had a sheet of paper with a grid/table format of all the types and icings etc. for each game checked off the ingredients for each, inputed into the boxes and voila! top points. I'll take a stab at it if anyone wants to see what I mean. I have to go back and count the columns so I'll edit this.
    If you're a visual learner like me you would be inclined to set this as colors not what they are (chocolate, vanilla, etc) for speed.
    Cakes:
    BR =Brown
    WH= White
    PK = Pink
    OR =Orange
    RD =Red (even though its a layer cake)
    Same with Icing:
    BR =Brown for Chocolate
    WH=for White or Vanilla
    PK =Pink or Strawberry
    OR =Orange for Orange!
    BL =Blue for ...some kinda flavor
    The Topping:
    BR =Brown for Chocolate
    WH=White for Vanilla
    PK =Strawberry
    OR =Orange or FR=Fruit whatever you please
    RD = Red (because it's red)
    I used the two letters to differentiate each and I got full points throughout last time
    Okay My table failed. but you get the gist of it anyway? I did three columns for the two and three cakes you have to construct.
