Inital harvest got 261 drops (included 3 from magic tree)
Being mix type farmers, crop field, I plant snowball shrub
It is around 2/3 of space.
I don't know it is good or bad rate, Let see a ful day how total drops I got!

Initial harvest provided 351 drops here.
Valerian, Wild Rose and Emmer on 2.5 fields, menageries and the such took up the remaining space.

For a normal drop rate I expected about 250 drops from these. Happy to see the drop rate on long timers (20+ hrs) is good!

Initial harvest of wheat and carrots provided 0 drops.

-> continuing with 10hr crops for the day, expect to get about 150 drops from those.

Wow Neddy38, You braved the FAQ and calculated the cake points. Great. Thanks for the thread. Just now hurried through the FAQ. And my brain went on strike & refused to take in anything except the Voucher Giver item. Then came and saw your post. 50 voucher pieces to mill one Voucher and play 1 mini game. [IMG] Alright . [IMG]

Thanks sahraB. 1050 vouchers. Lets see. I do not feel active enough to chase drops. But it might change during the course of the event.

    Cake Boost Alert!!

A Cake Boost takes 3 hours to mill.
A Cake Boost reduces the time for a 6 hour Cake Voucher giver with 50%.
When a Cake Boost is applied right at the start of the Cake Voucher giver, the remaining runtime is 3 hours.

3 hrs of milling a Cake Boost + 3 hrs of remaining runtime for the Cake Voucher giver = 6 hrs.
Which happens to be the same time it'll do without a Cake Boost...
Even worse when time spend on activating the mill and on activating the Cake Boost are counted in.

Cake Boost is worthless for the giver, it only might be handy if you're doing very very poor in the mini game..

    PS.
Ofcourse with an active mill subscription some time on the giver can be saved.

I had mill 5 voucher, so I start to play
after pass LV3, it start to make 3 cakes, OK that's good as more cake point given.
I got mistake on 1st voucher which time expiry and cannot got the max point.
    8 voucher I got to LV4 150 cake point.
    So....
    2775-150=2625
I need to got 44 voucher. (not count the deco give 1 voucher),that is 2200drops..
    Fine...-.-
Hope the drops rate ...

Edit: I forget the deco give voucher 1 per 6 hr, assume 1 day can get 2 harvest
mini. If count 5 day will have 10 vouchers, so target is further mill 34voucher max!

Thanks Neddy for starting the thread and fighting with those numbers! ;)

I didn't really make much effort to maximise drops at the start of the event, too busy working on FSQs needing 9 hour crops. I think I may be okay so will carry on as I am, hoping to get the cake vouchers from the other event, try to remember to harvest the cake voucher from the deco item and get enough drops from my normal harvests. Maybe I will have to change that strategy later on. All depends on how long I can spend at the computer this month and how near I am to finishing this event. Any event I can manage will be a bonus so I'm happy to have a go ... or not in the case of the last one! I had about 2,500 kindling without doing anything special (or nearly anything at all - just one harvest a day sometimes)! Go figure! :D
    Good luck all! :)

Finished 13 LV, CR running. 8)
I had try to do on PC, result is I’m in such hurry compare with I used in ipad.
the touchscreen is the main factor, I done 3 cake with seconds remain where
by mouse click, I just finished with 1 second or just on time.
after use 2 voucher, I immediately change back to my ipad.
2 day left, I will be more relax, make cake if I like, ignore it when I got no mood....:music:

I jot it down also. I jot down the first letter of the cake, frosting, topping. There are a couple tricks to keep from getting messed up. For example the topping C is cherry. N is nut. When I started on an earlier version of game I got mixed up with the chocolate nut frosting and the cherry. It's rare now I don't get the full number of points. I have about 9 seconds to spare most games without vouchers.

I am getting a very poor drop rate. I don't think I'm going to be able to finish.

Leah I go with initials for Brown, white, pink, yellow, and last Mixed for the stripped cake/blue icing/strawberry topping.. I get 100 %. Hope that helps.

I found that my skill of play this event is not as good as last season.
my speed to focus the screen and take photo from PC is slow down.
To click the layers also see not fast enough. most games just finished
with 2 second left. It make me feel pressure. Then I remember I had use
my friend’s ipad to play farmerama. maybe touchscreen will be better.
So, when my nephew come to visit me. I find that he had install puffin on
    his ipad....
Very simple, I ask him to use his ipad. Then try to play the mini cake. OK,
It work, making cake look much faster.
So, we got exchanged. He play games on my PC, I used his ipad to play the
mini game. I had many vouchers on hand, and it will take quite a while.
And then I got the CR:music:

I find a issue when I play after I got CR, then post a question in tech. issues.
Mod reply and tell to to check FAQ.
So, Pls see FAQ again(new post#2)for the new issued of mini game played after you
got the CR. Hope it will be sloved soon.

Finished, but wasn't easy. Husband's been sick the last few days, some type of stomach virus, so taking care of him. Then this morning woke up and guess who's sick now. :p I haven't vomited since I was 17, which was a very, VERY long time ago, but have spent the entire day unable to keep even water down. :wuerg: Even thinking of food makes me nauseous, and the lovely pixel cakes were not so lovely to me this time.:wuerg::wuerg: Did anyone else have trouble with the cake building starting with the topping instead of the cake? >:(

Wish you a speedy recovery spots. Don't worry it will soon pass off. Here when we wish to stop vomitting, we try lemon jucie with salt. Many times it is effective. More over its good for dehydration.

I too finished the event. But it was sort of boring, doing the same event. I used the old method of piece of paper and pen to jot down the colours of the cakes.

Thank you 12ss12 :). My fever finally broke earlier today, and no more puking, but then, there's nothing in my stomach to get rid of. Haven't eaten in 2 days, the mere thought of food was enough to cause dry heaves.:wuerg: Gonna try eating a little in a few minutes, actually feel hungry for the first time.

I also wrote down the colors to be able to get them right. Easiest for my simple mind to handle. :p
