Total Serpent Eyes - 200
200 Breedings = 800 Anacondas (If you choose to do just Anacondas) (there is only a chance of serpent eyes on other breedings)

If we need 200 Serpent Eyes, that means at the minimum 200 breedings, so we need at least 400 Powerfeed to complete the event in full. (310 if you subtract the 90 you can get back from rewards)

Does breading unlock in Monkey temple arrive tomorrow with the event? As I don't have them statues there yet. Also it seems there rather is space for them in chamber 5 (where also anaconda unlock is) instead of chamber 6 as the anouncement says.

If anyone has been busy saving up their Anacondas, the event requires 1,023 base snakes - though you will still need to breed for the Serpent's Eyes, at least you can save your coloured snakes.

I'm in as I love breeding events but would prefer it not to be snakes!

I would say it dont start until tomorrow as it is not showing on my farms either. I just wanted to make sure everyone, saw we needed to unlock the ruin as I almost missed this information.

As per needed values per step of breeding anacondas: None of the steps needs higher valued anacondas than the toxic anaconda, so if you have enough golden bananas get yourself the crisscross one and save it for yourself

or:
you can do the following:
steps 1= 2 albino + 3 base, overpaid by 32 CC
step 2 = 5 albino + 1 base, overpaid by 144 CC
step 3 = 8 albino + 4 base, overpaid by 976 CC
step 4 = 12 albino + 5 base, overpaid by 320 CC
step 5 = 17 albino + 2 base, overpaid by 888 CC
step 6 = 21 albino + 3 base, overpaid by 232 CC
step 7 = 25 albino + 5 base, overpaid by 720 CC
step 8 = 30 albino + 1 base, overpaid by 144 CC
step 9 = 34 albino + 3 base, overpaid by 632 CC
step 10= 43 albino + 1 base, overpaid by 544 CC.

Total need of albino = 190 (we have to breed 200 times anyway for the "eyes"
Total need of anacondas = 784 base anacondas.......24 anaconda for donation and 760 for breeding.
Total value of anacondas put in = 896,896 CC value in event through breeding: 1,129,456 CC
Any skips or baby boom twins are yours then .

Now all we need is a BBD!! We are having a "Coin Palooza"....but without a BBD....I'm going to hold off.

Oh why does BP dangle the carrot?.........but then not offer a BBD at the same time??? Such a tempting dilemma?

 

Will not breed/harvest breedings until BBD!
and if they don't do one this time (what they won't do I think), then I am holding off until the next BBD.
Will fill up my love hut to the brim and wait


EDit: aehm.. has anybody tried to fill the breeding hut with anacondas?
I just tried and the anaconda is in there as an event animal... but I can't select them for breeding... And event had started, BEFORE I even logged into the game

I like the way you are thinking!!! Maybe breeding other animals will also give "eyes"?

 

RowSie: Not guaranteed though there is a slim chance. If you want to breed other critters and have enough PF, test it out but if short of PF and not really needing to breed, stick with the definite result - we know what "random" means here!

DOH! Got so excited about breeding that I completely forgot all about BB! Oh, well, I have nearly got all my Serpents' Eyes so one down to experience (or lack of it!).

Yet another faux pas: managed to do 21 more breedings of the wriggly nasties than I needed! No great skips but finished the event. Just going to build up my snakes again and then put them back in the barn until I need them again!

 

There is a VERY SMALL chance to get eyes out of other breedings

 

My breeding pen is waiting to be harvested (I did it with half closed eyes so I did not have to look at the ghastly things) It will stay that way in the hope of a BBD will be announced but can I resist!

 

I will let you guys know what I get with it... When I manage to play again that is. I have not been able to stay logged on for the past 30 minutes. Guess it is telling me to go take care of RL work... lol

 

Plenty of time and not a thought of breeding anaconda yet ..... if during this event.

This event is the Great Payoff for Lessons Learned with Lettuce.

lettuce-rabbits are moving slow but the rate of return is better than the lettuce-condas which move faster

lettuce-chickens are yielding a higher return than usual

The broke barn content update has gone live

 

Think I am giving this event a miss ... Liked the Ingrid events ...but from what I see this isn't the same as the usual event ... AND I am not a lover of baby doomer

 

So.... for now here is my hissing strategy...
- I started the breeding for 3 other animals I've been working on and will wait until BBD to harvest. If I get eyes as result I will keep breeding different things. If not I will move on with just anacondas. Haaard to wait though.
- If my test suggests I will be able to get enough eyes from breeding different things, I will donate whatever I have left in base anacondas and donate albinos to complete.
