I have done 26 games by now and the 8h +1 is just running.
finished the first 14 donation steps as well. Have only one field with crops, as I need the other two fields to get the necessary drops. What a pain!

I have my glade filled with the xxl trees. I farm the main field with event crops and short time crops in between. I have the last field with crocus that I harvest twice a day (I have the refinery enhancements but only use water and manure). It seems to be pretty balanced on drops, but I only have gotten 8 games so far. We will see how it all turns out.

 

Does anyone find that longer stables better or higher ep like red or pink ones. does it effect it if you put food to shorten time? will you then get lower glass numbers?

 

I find that if I PF my reds/pink, it gives as much drop per harvest as with normal food. But then it's that random drop-rat.

 

The only parameter that affects the probability of drops is the original duration of a stable.
Longer duration stables have higher probability of drops than lower duration stables.
The EP or colour of a stable has no effect on drop rate.
All other time reduction buffs, water, PF etc that lower the harvest time do not affect the probability of receiving drops.
They do however allow you to make more harvests in a given time.

 

For getting Glue Pots quickly don't forget about the carnations, if you cultivated them in the greenhouse, with water, manure and SG you can harvest them in 40min. There is a cloud row that would make them in seconds, but I don't have it.
They give a very good drop rate.

Not yet. I will probably wait until the last few hours of the event and use Ziegfried if I am low on a necessary crop and have more than enough of the others, and swap seeds then. Essentially you donate 5 seeds of one crop and get 1 of your chosen alternative back in return. Eg. I could give 5 water berry seeds in return for 1 prickly fungus seed.

By donating a set amount of regular items (crops, animals, tree fruit etc.) you can improve the exchange rate; that is, for the first level, a donation of 1,500,000 EV will improve the ratio to 4:1, meaning you would only need to donate 4 seeds to get 1 in return (eg. 4 water berry seeds in return for 1 prickly fungus seed). The more you do this, the more you can improve the exchange rate.

Also not far from the LV50 for CR2
What's my strategy after I get both the CR
1st. No more care the event crop & EP buff.
It mean, once I had collect enough glass & glue for mill. Then mill and play the mini game
as I like. I will not too much concern if I got the buff But the crop still not ready for harvest!
Or... to catch up the buff expiry time, add SG on event crop just I do when I get the +1 & +2 buff.
Since it only last for 8 hr and started once won them.
But that is only because I want to get the CR ASAP.
And then I could put lessen effort in this event.
Do not need to care too much & time after time. to check event crop's mature time.

I just got tired of it.
I don't care those reward from donation part. After I got the CR
I will just keep 1 or 2 field in this event. Do it more relax. No hurry..

 

What did you have on your field? I've been switching between workshops and stables they're both giving dismal results.
Even the Jute is medium. should I throw on...carnations? quackgrass? hogweed? turpentine? anything? I've got scary results so far.

 

Using strategy from the first edition, I milled enough greenhouses to do 47 games in order to activate the 3 crop bonuses at the same time. I actually had 52 games to play, and with CAC, SG, SSG, 3 crop bonuses. I was able to get enough crops to complete the entire right side of the list. Took roughly about 4.5 hours to complete.

I did not exit the mini game unless I couldn't reach the crate in 4 turns. So, most of the crates awarded each mini game was 7. I know we could exit and try for 9 crates in 1-2 turns, but that is too much clicking for me.

I was short 80 valley rose but have excess of water berries and prickly fungus. I bought the 80 that I needed and sold my surplus.

2nd farm only has 32 greenhouses so will wait a bit longer to play those games and activate the bonuses.

I had 1x1 fields of carnations. I am doing overnight crops of 1x1 wild roses and carnations for the drops. I think the 1x1 fields will give you more drops than 2x2 fields or stables or workshops. I used 2 buffs for faster growth of flowers on mainlands.

 

Both the CRs up and running! On task side completed upto level 58! Saying quit and back to normal farming!!

I stopped. Since event crop's price had drop down to reasonable price.
I will shopping in market to finished the remain of LV.
Those Ep & crop buff ..just ignore them
Goodybe seraching treasures..... I don't want to find them anymore.
few hours later, I can go back to normal farming

I am a little late but CONGRATS dear neighbor and thank you. Congrats to all who achieved their goals. I pushed really hard on this one because I wanted to finish early. My boys flew in from Oregon for family time and they wanted to watch a few of the parades. I also got to spend a lot of time with my little birthday twins. They are mirror images of each other.
I managed to go up a few levels and also made a few million CC's. Used a lot of SG but was worth it to me for the time it saved being married to the computer.
