I like this event, I am just wondering why it is much shorter than the other one, the Stable Stories II ? Perhabs to not enjoy playing the game too much, I don't see other reason

 

I'm loving that the EP boosters seem to be working on the EP amounts received from the Queen!

 

This one fits my life at the moment. Relative short => I don't tire from the event. Quest is a nice alternative for milling, but can mill for those who have the time and effort to go beyond that. The prizes are a bit less generous than from my first monkey queen event, but I think they are more balanced (not so generous that it would hurt sales), so I can live with that. The event shop is as always a nice feature. Loved the fact it dropped from all fields, not just bahamas.

 

Has the mini event started for the candy yet?

I like that the milling of the candy baskets does not take as long as the last event's milled item. However I'm annoyed that we were given 10 plants and each milled item requires 550 roses and 4 hours (with water) to grow. Which means that I've only managed to get two done since the event started because I am not going to spend a ton of real money for super grow, the event baskets, or suzy's super grow. Again, another money grab.

These events have definitely decided for me that I will be tearing up my fields after this and putting all my stables and workshops back down and not taking part in future money grab events which are nothing but too time consuming events with too little reward.

 

This event is lovely. As said above, it's relatively short, we don't need to complete hundreds of rounds just to get the prizes. The crop is beautiful. The quest is very helpful, allows us to get baskets more easily, but gives extra chances to the overachievers. Yes, the prizes are not like the very first Monkey Queen event, but they are still excellent and better than the last round. All good.

 

I so agree with matselleste, the prizes are way better than last carnival event BUT no where near as good as the original Monkey Queen!
I don't think we will EVER see that happen again! But this is a fun event and I love that we can do a Quest to get some
"Floral Candy Baskets" then just go play the mini game! The "Drop Rat" has been very generous this time around! Thanks for a fun event!

 

I like this event. I'm not going to get many baskets made because I don't have enough open space in Baha, but I managed to play twice and jump up two levels thanks to collecting EP from Suzy. That's enough to keep me happy.

 

why they would do 2 events that required lots of crop growing ?

The other way that we have done carnival queen, at least in my exp since 2011, was enjoyable and attainable. At some point you had so many baskets your hand would get tired.

This new one...ehh...to be frank I am just playing to play...no desire to get my coveted cloud rows.

wonder sometimes if it is just a waste to post concerns about the events

 

Lovely, lovely game-event!

I could play this for hours......except for the huge amount of c-r-o-p-s required!!
Like others, I am only able to mill 1-2 baskets a day, as I have a f-a-r-m to manage (this is a f-a-r-m-I-n-g game, is it not??)
So all this crop-growing in huge amounts spoils it for me, especially as it is almost a constant, very frustrating, 'given' for most events these days! It has become tiresome, and discouraging, and is the major reason I have stopped participating (and spending BB's=$$) in most events now.

I hope (without much real hope) that BP will listen to the many ongoing complaints about this, and come up with an easy solution...far FEWER crops required for all this myriad of Events now flooding the farm!!
PLEASE, let us go back to enjoying our farms....and Events!!

Other than this, Imho, the Carnival Queen is one of the Best!!

 

I agree with all said above. The requirements for candy basket could have lessened so that we could mill more baskets and play more mini games. What is the fun when you can play only 2 or 3 mini game at a time. The prizes in the shop were such a lot. But the mini games we played were so few that we couldnot think of redeeming anything, other than the cloud row & set of EP Givers for second cloud row. It was a a mere window shopping for the other prizes.

 

I love this event always. Enjoyed the quest part so that I didn't have to mill anything except my left over flowers. Have both CR up and running. Did have trouble with coins as it is hard to tell apart. EP has been great and leveled already. Don't like multi events or even as many as we have been having. Only ripped up farm cause I wanted to do this event and seemed a shame to waste farm equipment. Only hopping to get factory up grade on other event.

 

Thank you for giving us the lovely carnival again! It would have been nice to see the FAQs a little sooner than day of so we could plant for best drops (or did I miss them? ), but thankfully I was growing new Baha crops, which are long enough to provide a nice start (love the new content, by the way!). In my fervor to start catching shiny things, I totally missed the companion quest, lol, but that's on me, not BP, and I was able to correct my errant ways and go about partying quickly. I too wish the event could have been a little longer, but am glad there was enough time to get CR on all 3 farms. Only suggestions I have would be to have monkey throw more star coins. Some few rounds gave 5 or 6, but really hard to get enough coins for 2nd CR AND some nice goodies when only getting one or two coins per round. And please, for the love of all things farming, fix the lag bug that has plagued every carnival since the first one, I'm begging you! It is incredibly frustrating to try and catch things when your basket keeps freezing and all the goodies disappear . I even had one round where I never left the start page, but somewhere in the background Bonnie Linn was tossing away, because I did manage to get a few things even tho I couldn't see the game playing. Lovely EP, nice prizes in the shop, great graphics as always, and overall a fun event (tho I join the chorus wishing for the old Monkey Queen version ). Two paws way, way up! ♪♫ Samba, samba, samBAAAH!♫♪

 

I really liked this event with not too much milling required thanks to the floral society rewards and an easy to achieve magic stalk row, which makes a really nice change to the usual events. The mini games were short, fun & rewarding and I would like to have played more of them.
The negative issues are that the requirements for the baskets were way too high (as others have said) and I sometimes caught more star coins than were registered, which was a little frustrating.

 

Rereading the FAQs for the game, I'm annoyed and confused. What was the purpose of the candy? The FAQs say they are needed for a mini-game. The only mini-game we played was the one that required the candy baskets and they did not require candy at all, they required the roses and empty baskets. So the candy was just pointless???

 

The candy is part of the parade...any parade! You are not required to catch any of it...but it does offer rewards after the event is done!

 

You get pretty good rewards for the candy once event is over!

• 1 Bon Bon = 85 EP + 7 CC + 85 TEP;
• 1 Chocolate = 90 EP + 6 CC + 90 TEP;
• 1 Lollipop = 125 EP + 6 CC + 125 TEP;
