OK, moonlight event .. don't be afraid to be scared.

OK, event hasn't started yet so I have no clue about the Kitty's Cauldron drop rate. It's just the amount required which gives me shivers ahead.

For feeding the spawning Cat Fairies a disgusting amount of drops is needed. To get the giver needed for the CR we need to mill 40 Brain Broth which equals to 1800 Kitty's Cauldron needed. The event runs for 6 days, so we need to gain 300 of those per day.
That's near ridiculous considering the Kitty's Cauldron only drops from trees, pens and workshops (most players don't have a lot of these)

Oh, we might get 2 Kitty's Cauldron per breeding. Right. Got a few PF to spare, I'll do that. Oh wait, we might get 2 Blood Tomato Sauce instead. 50/50 chance. Breeding for Kitty's Cauldron isn't worth it at all, knowing the Blood Tomato Sauce drops from all items and only 1000 of those, 167 per day, are needed. Any breeding handing out these is a 100% waste of PF, resources and time.

I don't mind putting time and some effort in events, just for the joy of it, but with such creepy requirements the Game Team might leave me no other option as to walk away. Will see after event start.

    **edit**
It seems there was a mistake in the FAQ. It now says Kitty's Cauldron will also drop from crops. No need to say this is a positive correction and hopefully will help players to achieve the (still outrageous) amount needed.

Agree with habalala with the kitty cauldrons, unless the drop rat is working overtime its going to be tough. Another concept creeping into the game is if you want to complete an event you need to give BP money to garner the necessary items this time PF to hopefully get drops from breeding?

You can only push people so far. Will start and see if its worth doing event without falling into BPs money grabbing trap

Why must every Moonlight Mania now come with an event??? Can't we ever just get Moonlight Mania? You know there are quests and other things we could be buying/completing with our MM crops, right? I shouldn't even allow myself to be tempted to repeat over and over what everyone else is saying/begging/pleading but every time I think it can't get any more ridiculous, BP ramps up the ridiculousness....

Well done BP in noticing the error with drops...you couldnt have a crop based event without drops coming from them.

Just an additional thought: Pink pens as prizes are really nice but the Crows and Bats cannot be bought in the Shop and most of us have a limited stock of them. How about either putting them on sale or supplying prizes with the base pen too? :)

The Fangerines are one of my favorite MM crops ever and I am glad to see them back. The event in general combines most of my favorite mechanisms. No complaints on the event itself, other than, why must we always have multiple drop items and have to choose the gifts? But my main problem - why do we have this at the same time as another event, with different crop grow times? It makes it very difficult to farm efficiently.

I also agree re slots for crafting products. We have to choose between so many different types of benefits, that all go in the gold slots. I have no problem with only being able to use two of any one type, say, EP or SG boost or speeding up animal pens or benefits to MM crops - but when we have all of these things going at the same time - how about offering more categories, say, Gold: MM, Gold: EP, Gold: enhancements, Gold: Animals. Then, no one area can get six improvements, but we can have one or two for each of several different areas.

    Drop rat seems wonderfully prolific.

I don't like this event, because the constant reminders every single time I log in are VERY VERY annoying. I have no intention of participating because I'm trying to save up for crow breeding. Other events let you read about them and the news tab and call it even. Why can't this be one if them?

I don't get any reminders, Rivak. Are you talking about the bats and cats on the MM fields? If so, you can turn them off by going into the event page and checking the little box on the game board. If not, I'm not sure what you are getting.

I like the design of the crops and the event. I like the way the prizes are set up and knowing what I need to do to get them. I like that both moonlight crops are the same time to harvest. This is the best type of event with a defined way to get to the end, not relying on skill, memory, luck, buy your way or some other nebulous equation in order to finish an event. This type of event I would be more likely to spend money on than the type you have run on the main land lately.

What I don't like is the very low drop rate on the drop items. I have bred almost 400 times and am still falling short on enough drop items to do the mill item. A lot of the breedings are returning the soot for the other event instead of the cauldron or blood tomato juice items so I have stopped doing the breeding. I have way too much soot.

I wish that when there is a moonlight mania event the prizes were actually moonlight mania related. Would be nice to be able to get some more new spooky trees, stables, and plants sometime this year.

Spooky Farmer's Pack - Why is this being offered with two 24 hour coupons, one day before event ends? This should of been offered when the event began. Poor planning with this one.

I can make them go away by clicking the little X when the reminders pop up, but I can't figure out how to turn them off entirely. I went to the events tab and looked for a box to click but didn't see anything to make them go away for good. Can you tell me how to do that? I'd really love not to see the Bats and Cats instructions again.

Go to the MM field, click on the icon, (little jar, near the Mill and the Farmhouse) or go to the Event tab on the left hand side and click on the Monster Munchies icon - shows a Jar and will show "Monster Munchies" when you pass your mouse over it. This will give you the event window. Click on the box under the Cat Fairy and Bat to remove the tick and the animations will stop. This works in all events of this kind. I know it can be very annoying when you are trying to farm and you click these accidentally. -.-

    Hope this helps. ;)

I liked this event and finished early. I had no trouble with the drops and I didn't need to do any breeding. I am saving my PF for the next breeding event. Also the graphics were nice. Still I do agree with the others that it would be nice if the prizes were more MM related like spooky trees and crops.

I wanted that Pink Crow Roost but I messed up at the end of the event and had extra bats and not enough cats -- just too tired.

Liked this event but just wish that the requirements were lower.

I forgot to reply to this earlier. Your trick worked! It made the last part of the event much more peaceful for me. :)

Thank you very much for the tip!
