The farmer_broke Event ... Continued

I have not deleted my inactive chickadee and I keep sending gifts to get points. Is this bad?
I do this because it is my first and only chickadee. I can't lose him-her.

 

I know very little of the mentor side.

Any of the above three mentors will be able to assist you. Hopefully another will comment in this thread and assist.

 

There is a high number of chickadees that have come through my farm that have been inactive. I have no supporting reason as to why they do not stay. They do not communicate as to the reason so any comment would only be a guess.

The way I do it is this....I get a chick, send a note daily with game hints. First one is a welcome msg, 2nd one is about how to find forum, etc. I also send a gift daily. If they do not play, do not level up, do not respond to IGM, when their bar is full, I collect the points and remove them from the nest to begin the search again. It is different if the player has written and told me they can't play daily. I hold on to those until their thermometer had dropped to red (which occurs about 2-3 weeks after their last playing session). If they cannot play more than once a month, it will be frustrating and they won't be able to grow their farm and accomplish what they want. Certainly, should any previous chick return to the game, I invite them to contact me if I can be of any assistance in the future.

IMHO, you cannot get an active chick by holding on to an inactive one

I agree with pnp and do the same. Boot them when the bar is full if thet aren’t playing unless I know I’ll be busy and I might hold onto them for 2 bar fulls before booting and getting a new chick.

 

Again, I am not a mentor in the mentor program.

• It seems to make good sense to send gifts to an inactive chickadee to get the points.
• From the comments of the two great mentors above I conclude: If you have another alternative to an inactive chick then can the inactive chick and move on.

My farm FarmerRainbow is doing all levels of the first 2 steps of the Baha quest "Homeless". They give TEPs & Stars. The extra bird houses I get, I will deposit in 1st step of 3rd level but will not donate other requirements. So bird house will not be converted to EPs.

And I played the first free mini game of seed search event and used it. Got 12 PFs. Will plant the seeds and delete it.

I wonder if the chickadee/ mentor system is going away because of this event.

 

I have been Broke Mentor from the Start. I had my share of chicks, Only had few of them made it to Level 40. Most of them inactive in short space of time, not to mention never IGM either. Therefore stopped IGM to time wasters

My Objective as an mentor was to reach Level 5, Which I did, After that I felt less motive, plus it became more time consuming, which led to have less fun. Focus my efforts on Farmer Society Quests,keeping my Farm Healthy.

To be honest now glad to see the back of it, as this feature will be no more,As I did earn over 12,000 mentoring Points convert them into useful things that more meaning to my farming strategy.

I have long ago gotten the Golden Boot BUT I have been creeping around every now and then...
I was wondering what will become of your game now that BP is burning the Mentoring System down?

I thought the same thing.

 

There have been concerns expressed by many regarding what was the mentor system.

At present, any new individual or farm wishing to attempt this event must now have a sponsor anyway.

1. If a farm has had a mentor in place then the farm simply continues to work towards completion. Very simple.
2. If a new farm wishes to enter then that farm must have a sponsor. Simple enough?
3. The level requirement adjustments will be almost unnoticeable. (The mentor system drop was anticipated long ago.)
4. Any participating farm still cannot reach level 40 until completion or .... the Golden Boot.

If you wish to join and attempt the event again with a farm then I will be more than happy to sponsor your farm.

And thank you very much for the gifts you have sent my participating farm. They do help. That farm must still continue to get the Golden Bananas in order to unlock what it needs to continue.

A participating farm of mine sent the mentor a pink duck stall and was happy. The friendship will continue, daily gift or no daily gift.

I have a farm that has met all of the requirements in order to complete this event. I am only waiting for whatever point cash-in the game is attempting. No hurry.

You will see farms continue and finish.

I feel assured that BP would not end the mentor system due to this event. Nor will BP stop goals from being set and reached by ending a mentor system.

The above (40) achievements, mandatory requirements, and 37 quest complete but one submission entitle the brokeo farm and Mentor Ajjg 1966 (aka Mooboy) to proudly be regarded as Cemanti Chickadee and Cemanti Mentor.

little_chick_broke (f26, b272) is a farmer_broke farm. The little_chick_broke farm does not wish to be an aluminum farmer any longer.
It had a mentor and the mentor was mentor chookie. Mentor chookie was not asked to appear in the event thread and was always a wonderful mentor anyway. Soooooo the farmer needed a sponsor.

Five steps needed (one must be to have a sponsor or mentor)

A quick review for rank increase of the little_chick_broke (f26, b272) with mentor chookie and sponsor 12ss12

1. (1) Sponsor obtained (A sponsor must be kept throughout the event). IF a farm had a mentor prior to the end of the mentor system AND the mentor posted in this thread then there is no need for a separate sponsor.
2. (2) All of Meadow cleared
3. (3) 44 animal pens on meadow (chickens used)
4. (4) 26 water storage tanks out on meadow
5. (15) Baha open

The five completed steps allow the little_chick_broke farm to be regarded as a Staple Chickadee Player and mentor chookie to be regarded as a Staple Mentor and Sponsor 12ss12 to be regarded as a Staple Sponsor. (12ss12 is already a Pink Star Mentor.)

Hi,
I think I am making more progress as a mentor than as a Chikadee in this event. I have not logged in to my FarmerRainbow farm for too long. This month was summer vacation for me. But nearly half of it I spent dealing with re-occurrences of severe cold & fever. Now I am fine. But in another 5 days my vacation is coming to an end & then back to work. So much for my month long holiday.

May be then I will start to play FarmerRainbow once again.

I played the new game WeFarm introduced by bigpoint. The game is now going to be closed as browser game and be reintroduced as mobile game.
