Like many others, I love the Trans-Seedlantic Express and Farm Express events. However, the one-hour wait time for the mystery cargo to arrive makes it really hard to maximise the relatively short amount of time we have to trade in our excess inventory.

First and foremost, it seems silly to have a new mystery cargo sitting there for 9 hours overnight whilst we sleep. Secondly, for those of us who do - well, quite frankly, anything - with our day, the train can end up sitting there for hours on end waiting for us to have time to collect the new cargo and send off a new train full of old pens or trees. This is a huge waste of time when we only get two days to send off our old items and have to wait an hour for them to come back.

To this end, it would be great if we could queue trains. That is, they will still go off one at a time, but like in the mill, the next train can simply be sent off as soon as the mystery cargo for the previous train arrives, even if it hasn't yet been collected. I'm sure those who work - and even those who don't - will appreciate being able to line up a few trains (say three or four) first thing in the morning to be sent off during the day whilst they're otherwise occupied. Many of us only get the chance to log in once or twice a day, and it makes it hard to make the most of these events.

It could perhaps work as the menagerie etc. work now, or how the mill expansion worked when it was originally introduced - we're all given a certain number of slots for free, and then have to complete quests or tasks to unlock additional slots. Then, for each slot, we can select which pens/trees we want to be sent off in that round.

I realise that BP may make some money off people paying for an "immediate finish" of each round in the current structure. When people don't have much time to send off trains, they are more likely to pay for an immediate finish to send off more trains in their limited time. However, by introducing quests that allow people to unlock more slots, hopefully some of the profit that is lost by reducing the need for an immediate finish could be regained by people buying resources for quests or paying to finish the quests immediately. Additionally, when people are sending off more trains, they are getting more cargo. This produces more opportunities for people to pay for the cargo to be harvested immediately (as in, once it is placed on the field). Therefore, more expenditure of BBs, more purchase of BBs. Whilst the profit may be lost from the immediate return of the train, I'm sure it could be made up in other areas that would be introduced under my proposed system.

    8) Your points about the hour wait-time are well taken, squigglegiggle:).

But please, please, please...no more q-u-e-s-t-s - of any kind, for THIS event!! We are already being quested and evented to death - so much so that I hardly do them any more!

I love the Trans-Seedlantic/Farm Express, and I do (reluctantly) pay the 1 BB to hurry it along. But you are right - there should be the option of a queue of some sort...just p-l-e-a-s-e...no quests - or anything else - attached to this event! We have too much to do as it already is....and it might become another one of those "play this, in order to play that" time consumers that I would stop playing.

A QUEUE, however, is a GREAT idea!!:D I hope BP will seriously consider it!!

I mean more like those quests we do to unlock more land - no event crops, no extra growing (just what we already have in our barns) - perhaps an EV donation value; and it could be open every day, whether or not the train event was running. Plus, as I said, we would all be given a few extra slots - and for the option to have even more (not a necessity for involvement/participation), we can unlock them by donating some crops etc. Like a regular FSQ! But I do take your point that we have plenty to go on with already.

A queue for the trains is a great idea:inlove: It is difficult to log in so often.
