Summer Fishing Bonanza Strategy Thread

The CR buffs I use daily are at most 22 hours, so that's fine. The longer ones I just use if they are ready when I do my daily item harvest.

 

I am going to have some extra fishing coins left over - if there is anyone who needs a particular giver to complete a cloud row message me at -matselleste- and I will try to get one for you!

 

with the event closing down today I've got some tokens and don't know what to buy, i've got some of these already
anyone know? are they spares to trade? take up space? my fields are full and unless they give a lot of ep I don't want them cluttering up my inventory...I've got 500 just sitting there doing nothing.

 

The event runs for 2 more days and indeed the Angling Shop offers absolutely NOTHING usefull. I will wait for the conversion, 1 Star Coin = 125 CC and EP and TEP * 500 = 62.500 CC and EP and TEP.

62.500 CC .. wow .. sigh .. that's enough to buy about 312.500 cress from the market. I'll just imagine how usefull that can be.

 

CR up and running by the skin of my teeth with 99 lures. Jumping off this Merry-Go-Round. No more 4 week 4 events at a time for me. Beginning to feel like I have a title " Next time I Get Married Gonna Marry A Computer" Best of luck to all. I agree with above posts. Makes one feel a little foolish. After buying all upgrades I had 675 coins left to buy things I already had. Another 20 something hours I will have Lure 100 to get an upgrade for an event that is over. Just saying PF or SG would have been nice.

 

I've used my extra fishing coins to purchase the givers for my cloud row, but ran out of coins before I could get the row completed. After worrying about coins in the beginning, I was pleased to have a surplus to make my own themed row using the givers on the unthemed event row.

 

That Fishy Fountain will look great on the #2 CR. I also used star coins to fill it. Looks more like an event CR than having a small volcano and water towers and a train or Neon critter.

 

I am at 94 games done. Finished up the last of the weekend kite event and am on the last step of the weekly event with no more lures. I have 20 hours to wait for the trophy yet. So no real hope of finishing the event of getting the last cloud row. All that pressure to do all those events and no real hope of finishing.

I finally got coins from the fishing last night so am able to put the 5 upgrades on my trophy plus one gotten from game 90 tomorrow when it is used. Would have loved those curtains earlier so I could have gotten more lures. I have 45 coins left over after only buying the curtains.

 

I played 97 games and no chance of getting any more lures. I had one box of lures left ... was I going to get two? No!
So I shelled out my 10 BBs to get the CR and won another box of lures. And, can you believe it? I got two lures! That was the first time that I noticed I got two lures (and they came so slowly, I am sure I would have noticed!).
So I finished with a little help from BBs. Happy ... sort of!

Sorry to hear you lost your 10 BBs for that Cloudrow. It must be quite irritating, illy1996.

I played 99 games. I think there is no other way to get one lure as my Fish fountain is for harvest only after the event ends.

 

Got the CR, but can't say I enjoyed the event. Sad, I used to love the fishing event.
