I have an early morning appointment and will miss the final hectic minutes of last opportunity donations.

I've seen a lot of familiar farm names in the list and am cheering you all on! I couldn't begin to mention them all as I wouldn't want to leave anyone out.

    Good luck to you all!

All four puppy paws crossed for farm hubby Banjoman :) and neighbor Mir85. :)

You wouldn't believe it but, I did not intend at any time during 2019 to do the Harvest Hoedown or whatever Beeps is calling it now. I kept growing the junks on the qualifying field and even told my farm wife I wasn't participating. But my impetuous nature took over and before you know it I was All In and couldn't stop until I knew I was in the Top 3000 as there was a late surge last year that kept me from the Top 1000. Now for next year... let's just say my RL job is not cooperating with the overladen Event calendar so, I am leaning towards loading my fields with high EP trees and a few other animals but not colored animals.

Thanks to everyone for all the support before, during and after the event. I had a lot of fun. Even though I didnt get a chance to quite make it in the top ten, I did at least place higher than last year, and at the last minute before the event started that was my goal, I knew I just wasnt ready for the top ten this year. I am now going to concentrate on CCs for now and not EV. My next goal now is to see if I can get in the top ten CC list, which will work better for me as my real life is really hard for me at times right now, and at least with that goal, if I need to take time off to deal with my real life stuff.

May I suggest dragonflies, I dont know if you analyze things but the dragonflies, even the base if the highest EV per hour at this time.

LOL I was just asking, I try to buy the daily seeds, but I have never just actually bought them and put them right up for sale yet. I have worked the numbers up a bit, and will complete that part of my many many spreadsheets to analyze which ones will make the most profit of course. I have my spreadsheets to to alot of my calculations for me. Like I put in the going market price and then I get the average cc to ev ratio, and cc per hour ratio etc. And yes I do some very stupid things from time to time, but I try learn from my mistakes.

There is a wrong way to play I guess, but everyone has their own way of playing, and what means a lot to one player means nothing to another. So what is a right way for one player is a wrong way to another player. I play the market alot and I say to myself, boy is this person dumb, but then again if I am trying to unload something I will drop my prices too. But I will glady buy anything and everything, if players will leave a gap, by this I mean if something is selling for 100K and you list it for 50K I will buy all of yours and then put it up for 99K. But then like with the eels, the price was dropping so fast, so I was selling them for 100K lower than the going price, and made it instead of 1-10 items each, put up like 25, trying to dump them quickly before the price was alot lower than this, so if you look at it one way, it was like I was playing stupid, but on the other hand, I was being smart, as I know the over all price was dropping way to fast to sell off what I had in stock and so in the long run I made way more in CCs then if I just kept putting up at the prices they were going for. Does this make sense? But I am bad (or good) at analyzing almost everything. I go thru the market many times a day, if something is selling way below the average price I buy it up, put it up for sale at going price or hoard them till the price will go way up. But yet to others this is "stupid" playing, it means tying up CCs they can use for other things, but to me, I just find more ways to make more CCs, but I usually have way more "game time" than I realize others has, But the end of the day, all of our differences makes this game work. But In my own mind, as long as you are having fun and enjoying the game, that is what matters.

So anyways again, Congrats to all who entered the event and met there goals, or just had fun. If anyone ever needs help or advice figuring out the numbers, just drop me a line, I will try to help others as much as I can, I love this game, and love to see others loving the game LOL. If you need help figuring out how to do events, making money, collecting ev etc. It all depends on what your goals are, I can remember when I first started out, I thought I was doing so good selling just a handful of crops, I can remember my first million, my first billion. I am constantly changing up the way I play as well, and as Broke said I am not shy about talking about my goals and how I plan on getting there, some people will know share their talents or know how, I dont mind, it is just a game, now it were real money I might not share LOL just kidding, that is not personality. I love helping others in anyway I can, When I first started this game I had so many kind neighbors that got me going with gift and trade, I read and analyzed things from the forum.

So glad to see you back, well I am hoping you are back just not popping in LOL

    @sebe96
The following comment refers to your TOP 10 in game cc holder consideration:
Agree, analysis is mandatory simply because one be well in-tuned with what is going on in the game. I can offer you considerations and am not trying to insist that you do anything. "EV per hour" was done here initially. Very easy for you us who can generate spread sheets. I quickly changed to EV per minute whenever considering. If using it for considering production determination then the qualifying consideration was always: approximately when would I be able to harvest.

Even when done efficiently, production itself has normally generated very little above what would be earned in order to remain competitive anyway. Why? I would not be competitive for long if not operating efficiently. There are quite a few who have fallen by the wayside because they have refused to realize this. (They got there by other means which from the beginning were destined to failure, and they are now out of the way for you.)

The following will be foreign to many: This is a German Based game. There is a period of time when the market is extremely active. This has been determined by considering lifestyle gaming practices of those in Germany. During that time, those in the area are buying and selling in high volume. As time moves forward, those in one time zone become fewer and those in the next time zone become many.

This is all up to you to see and do as you see best for your farm. Who do you want to buy and sell too? Who will give you the best deal for your ccs? Those who bother to consider this are quite serious about what they are doing too.

Even working with simple EVs is foreign to many. I find many in this forum content with remaining in the Dark Ages. (yeah yeah yeah yeah...as long as one has fun then.....yeah yeah yeah .....) You work with spreadsheets, great. We can generate so much information from the raw data that one can very quickly get to the point where what is generated cannot be interpreted ...... much less explained to someone else. If you keep on then I will guarantee you that you will get to that point.

It takes your time too. I know the excuses .... it doesn't take much and on and on and on. BS (baldy sheep)! If indeed the objective is to generate ccs then one cannot spend all the time analyzing but must earn the ccs. <----- that in itself is another discussion.

Our time is valuable. While generating 150 million a day might seem nice, what about generating 2-3 billion in a day? Can you do it? I cannot. Not yet! So I must out-think others and do it and quick because I want to do other things and you have things to do too.

At one time I became so amazed that I would generate complete market spread sheets every 2-3 days it seemed. I learned the game too. Then once a week. Then once every two weeks then once a month ...........now I bet I have not generated a complete spread sheet in over 2 years. No need.

If you have a position then you have already proven it too yourself as being worthwhile FOR YOU. Now if you disclose your position and someone here challenges you then most times all is needed is a quick computation on a calculator to defend your position effectively. (And most times we will have no time to bother challenging what makes no sense ....... and we just remain humble and read and respect the other party.)

Generating 200, 300, 400 million ccs in a day is not hard nor impossible. But it takes time and all that analyzing takes time too. Up to you and you will see this if you continue toward that TOP 10 goal.

This farm just buys them because it will invest anyway to continue forward. I watch as some familiar names will sell in about the same quantity every Tuesday or Wednesday .... 10 offers for everything ..... I know good and well what they are doing. I cannot bother selling those seeds every single day. The ccs will most likely be there anyway.

and lots of information in the spreadsheets become worthless soon too unless one begins to adopt trend analysis in their EV analysis.
You and those spreadsheets. I hope you will drive yourself crazy with all those numbers. hahaha :inlove:xDxDxD

That has not ended for me in this game.
haha .... You are only moving to what I term a prediction mode.

Just giving you something to think about.

Wellllllllllllllllll, this ooooooooooold farmer noooooooooooooow will leave all the spread sheets and analyses to you and...................just sit underneath the broke-tree and stuff leaves in my pocket.:)

    hahahahahaha
There is plenty more fun for you.

Congratulations to everyone who managed to secure a position in the Top 3000! Mad respect for sebe96 and geckofeet666 for their outstanding performances! Well done!
And that was despite geckofeet666 taking a 7 month break and "not having much left in the barn"... I am in awe.

First of all, congratulations to everyone who participated in the TOP 3000 and who did not. Especially congratulations, @sebe96, @zerodegrees, @mus1962, @geckofeet666, @xristos-ale3andros

Now, after the festival, there's something in my mind: Is the TOP 3000 a fair competition?

The winner of the Hoedown (ਛ°º°MataHari°º°ਛ )delivered products worth 58383838382.90 EV.

If so, how could he/she have accomplished this? He/ She also said that there are auxiliary farms in the same market. How many farms are needed, it's worth EV to stock up.

Can only one person control all of these farms?

Is it ethical for mods, that is, people who first know about events and innovations, to participate in the Hoedown?

I'm sorry, but I have to talk about this. Because I don't think this Hoedown is fair anymore.
