We get five Detective Tools at the start.

To get the CR and CR EP items, 85 games need to be played:

80 x 115 PowderPuff Plants = 9,200
80 x 20 Soots = 1,600

To complete the whole 115 games:

110 x 115 PowderPuff Plants = 12,650
110 x 20 Soots = 2,200

Of course, depending on your sleuthing skills, you may need to play more games to get all the booty from the points side of the game!

For this event we need a lot of crops which we can only plant on the main area.
Among the prizes are Jumbo trees, but it's impossible to get to them with a normal game.

T's true SahraB! I was trying to remember what my average score was for my best of the three games and I think I will probably get halfway down the first of the points prize list!
My strategy is to do what I can with the time I've got and not sweat what I "would have won"!
By the way, I do like the mini-games so it is not all bad!

Thanks illy, for starting the thread! I am doing this event and hope to make it too the CR! I will continue on to do as many games a time will allow! I usually just keep track of the number of "games played side" of the event, and let the "points side" do it's own thing! Good Luck everyone!

I just so happened to see fish selling at over 43,000 each last breeding event.

The broke farm is building a Gold Lined Pond for you and your school of fish.

No more fish will enroll in your school just yet though. With 45,823 fish feed and 52,103 fish, looks like we need a little more fish feed so that everyone has their own.

And BEEPS is not nearly finished ....................... and neither am I.

Oh well, happy junking. I da even know where to begin.

To "junk" properly, plant crop, feed with water, manure and whatever else you want to throw at themharvest in a timely manner and then repeat. While waiting you can sit under the tree and stuff leaves in your pockets so you don't get bored!
First harvest I got 202 soot that is good for my farm!

 

Yeah, I want to do this event, I want BB's and Jumbo Trees and all the prizes.
Need about 25,000 crops and 4,000 drops for my goal. And I have 160 hours for all of them. Well!!!

 

Sadly I didn't read the forum yesterday and missed the post until now. So pre-prep was a bomb. This is embarrassing: When I last logged in I planted cress while I did other things and intended to plant another crop. I forgot. Tonight I actually had 1 soot drop when I harvested the cress!

Will do what I can, but this event isn't something I can do easily on puffin during my lunch hour. Happy the CR is only TEP/EP. It is nice but I like the crate and buff CRs better.

I find the FAQ kinda confusing - Maybe actually playing the games will make sense.

In my opinion this is an event worth spending a decent amount of SG on (which I very rarely do).

I think I can get close to 135 points per game with the 90 second option. That's 204+ games, 5 free games means I need 23k+ crops, that's around 38 harvests. I can get at least 4 harvests a day for seven days, so I might need 10 rounds with SG, around 2000 SG. I'd say it's worth it

 

Are the jumbo trees really all that great, tho? I got one from a crate not too long ago. Takes up 4 spaces and I can harvest it every 36 hours for a couple SG.

In any case, I'm in as far as I can go...cuz there are lots of nice prizes even if I don't think those jumbo trees are all that.

Why do people want Jumbo trees? They take up four spaces and their rewards are puny.

 

If you have a Suzy's tree, and you put Suzy on it, you get five Suzy's from it. With TM, that becomes a pretty good haul - if you can give it the space. I tend to put my trees out three or four times a year and hit them hard for ten days or so. If you're struggling to have space for all the pens and trees that you need to grow for feed and quests, these trees are not the best option, but when you get to a point where you are pretty well stocked, and can pick and choose a little more about what you are growing - they are a good option.

 

My Jumbo Trees are so sad now that you called them puny.
