Corona Ordeal & how to stay safe !

I think we will sensitize ourselves about this Pandemic Disease by sharing tips, thoughts and news.

    1. Corona virus is deadly to those whose immunity is very weak. It may be due to old age, infancy, anemic, etc.,
So the best way would be to do something to boost our immunity power.
    2. It is easily infectious like common cold or flu. But deadly dangerous than those.
    3. It leads to multiple organ failure and causes death.

The best way to save ourselves is to keep us disinfected. And to boost our immunity. And in case of any health issue or uncomfortableness approach a doctor immediately without waste of time. Avoid crowd.

Also I feel that in addition to Homeopathy medicine we can also rely on our traditional medicine to boost our immunity. For instance we have Nilavembu kudineer in Sidhha Medicine that is very effective in boosting our immunity. It increases the blood platelets drastically. We were successful in using it to cure dengue, chickungunia and other viral infection. We use this along with homeopathy treatment. We also use raw papaya leaf extract.

China has applied Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating corona.

Viruses are not alive, so they need living residences to exist. As we all know it's safe to be at home for everyone, we should just stay home for a while. If we obey the suggestions, virus can't live. If necessary to be out, when we are back home, we should change our clothes (including our shoes) and drop them to fresh air (Sun is the safest UV resource) and wash our hands for minimum 20 seconds. Basicly we should just fallow the personal hygiene rules. We should also add fresh protein sources, probiotics and vegetables to our daily diet to strenghten our immun system. I agree with 12ss12 but as a reminder Homeopathy is also safe with only a MD's advise. If you have any cronical disease or pregnency don't eat or drink anything you normally don't. We should open our windows for minimum 15 minutes everyday morning and evening cause virus can't survive on fresh air. Hope everyone suffering from COVID-19 get well soon!

I've been testing my memory of old song lyrics to make sure I was my hands for at least 20 seconds each time. Disco music from the 1970's is good for this purpose. :)

Stayin' Alive is my go to song when washing my hands... Plus, in the world of CPR, the beat is close to what you need for Chest Compressions. I tried it a couple of times with the Resusci-Annie at the local Red Cross.

Just not Disco Duck - for those that remember the tunexD Like your choice, Banjo!

Blessings to all for minimal issues from this virus.

If you do get sick - anti-inflammatory medication makes the illness worse, so don't use those to alleviate symptoms.

Also, my aunt is a naturopath and said that quinine (found in tonic water) and elderflower can help boost the immune system and stave off the illness.

And a friendly reminder - I'm sure most are aware, but don't forget that even if you wouldn't be badly affected by getting sick, you could pass it on to someone who is vulnerable, or to someone who will in turn pass it on to someone at risk! Quarantining and isolating feels strange when you are not sick and would experience only mild symptoms, but it is not for your sake that we need to all keep our distance - it is for everyone else. I would personally be fine if I got sick, but if I passed it to my dad (who is in the top 1% most at risk) he would have a low chance of survival.

Second Case of Corona infected person has been reported in Tamilnadu today. He came back from New Delhi. First one has been cured and returned back home.

Courts are functioning minimal. So no more courts for us. Law Associations have been closed. They are open for only 2 hrs. So are canteens etc., Court take up only urgent matters and clients not allowed inside the courts. Only 10 advocates are allowed inside court hall and should stand 1 metre from others. Only advocates with cases are allowed inside.

    Keep yourselves clean and hygiene.

Its best to stay inside home. Eat your food properly and at correct times. Skipping food makes you weak. Freshly prepared foods are best. It is best to avoid foods from freezer. I speak from a view of a tropical country. But for other countries, it might vary.

I heard Eurovision has been postponed.

please pray for all those in the medical field. they are working long hard hours without enough rest. ( a mothers opinion.) I also need y your prayers. On March 7 I took a violent fall. Have two black eyes and green, black and blue face. No brain bleed but broke end of elbow off. Need surgery but not an option because of heart and lung history. Pain meds affecting short term memory. Hopefully find out more next week. Will try to send gifts and play as much as able. Best of luck to all.

Oh my! So sorry blessedlady! Prayers for you!

Medical people really need support now; I know many. They are indeed tired and worry about their families catching virus from them.

FWIW I was furloughed from my job as a motorcoach operator and until the crest of the wave of the infections occurs and subsides in the US and life returns to "normal", it looks like we will be sheltering and isolated except occasional forays into this forum. I have the same worries as most of you and I have one more week to hope I wasn't infected by any college (domestic or international) students. My additional worry is that my wife is a diabetic and on dialysis and more susceptible to severe reactions to this virus.

I will go back through this later.. OMG I read so many things on my phone about this I am sick of hearing/seeing it..This is not a bug to play with... Please all do what you need to know of this bug and do what you need to do about it... I love you all and do not want to lose any of you to this bug.. We all live in different places... This bug from what I understand lives the longest in each of us... On the surface depends on what it is... I think longest time is 24 hours... but if it is in us... then well.. up to 11 days I think to even show signs... then its like 3 weeks max to rid it ...Just be safe.. look up what you need to know about this.. Take this as if it was money..This bug is no joke for those who think it is nothing...THIS BUG IS FOR REAL.. AND IT DOES KILL. Mostly yes to those with issues... BUT WHY CHANCE IT.

EDIT: @blessedlady2 Dont worry about game.. worry for yourself first... Game can wait... we can wait.. I rather you focus on healing and doing what you need to do then to lose you.. We will be here for you and waiting for further news..

blessedlady2, take care of yourself. Don't fret about anything too long. You will get well soon. Just give it time. Everything will be fine.

Stay safe Banjo. Something says in my mind that both of you are safe from the infection. I am using this time to take care of my personal life and my professional life has taken a back seat. We are now trying to spend more time as a family together. Of course no income for these 2 or more weeks. But at least we are stable.

I had common cold and fever these 3 days. Today I am fine. Nothing serious. But could study for my exam or do my routine works. So what I did was installed the WeFarm game in my phone and started playing it. :p But it is tiresome and not as attractive as Farmerama.

@Banjoman I am too in the USA but we are in different areas.. I don't know all facts of this bug... But I am sure we all know one can carry it up to 11 days before any signs.. Then its like 2 weeks for most some its 3 weeks... I like to use max.. 3 weeks of mess.. But since USA or some areas mainly mine.. likes to let people roam about.. well its not gonna end for awhile.. 11 days is like 2 weeks.. then its 3 weeks.. What most people don't know is... if 11 days is true to show signs even.. not counting not acting on it.. you go out affect one that doesn't have it.. WHAM.. can be 11 more days...this is what I am afraid people are not seeing...

My state.. pfft a joke.. 3 weeks and that was a week ago and no new news on that... Which means in my state.. as of now.. many people will go back to work affected.. because people don't do math right and know the time line... this bug is gonna hurt more then it should.. as of now the whole world knows... why is the whole world (mainly USA)(some places around the world already did what they needed too.) not doing what needs to be done to stop this? This alone is killing me...

From tomorrow evening 6 'o' clock, its curfew for us. No transport. Only retail shops. Till 31st March this will be the situation. I think family incomes will take a great hit. What will be the fate of daily wage earners or unorganised sectors.

I'm in the USA and as of now most retail stores are closed, state parks are closed, can only get take out for eating out, and grocery stores have a special hour for seniors! People better start listening! It's going to get much worst.

Here is a bright spot to report - in my area many neighbors are looking out for each other. Talking over the fence or calling up to check on people; offer to bring in supplies to older ones so they don't have to go out; church messages are broadcast live stream; charity groups are distributing food and necessaries; and our local city and county government is providing lots of information about available jobs, shopping hours, etc. Many people are out of work and others (in health care, food supply and first responders to name some) are overworked. Most people I've spoken with are taking a financial hit (me too); but are becoming creative in handling the situation with amazing fortitude.

There are so many people you will never see on TV who are making the best of the situation and working to make it better for others. Congrats to all who help in big and small ways to keep spirits up and assist those in need. Blessings to all dealing with loss of income, heath issues and uncertainty for the future. Blessing to all working in health care and essential businesses, searching for new answers to the problems we all face. Blessings to families, students, workers and employers struggling to find a new path. It is a very trying time, and may get even harder, but don't give up hope my friends! :inlove:
