I think it'll be the coconut beach. The bathing shark is cute although if I'm drowning I don't want to be rescue by a shark xD:p;)

Hi Saturnia, I have the same question. Considering there is no additional explanation anywhere, I do think it is just like that. But why do we need the wishes for? Head scratcher.

    Thank you SB.
Just because one is able to breed enough to obtain the required number of badges for a breeding event does NOT guarantee that the results of that breeding will result in sufficient quantity of EV points needed to complete a breeding event.

Easy to see the gift baskets include BAHA animals!
The BAHA animals have a high EV even when comparing them to breeding animals at various levels.
I can see how many farms may come out cheaper by acquiring or producing some of the animals for donation.
(Try sorting the BAHA animals in your barn by value. Doing the same for farm animals should cause one to definitely consider the chinchilla and pleco fish. Do the same for breeding animals. Compare price per EV for an item in a breeding event category. You will see.)

For August's Breeding Event, llamas will play an important role.

I noticed the llama in a couple of the baskets.
The llama is a mammal. There are other mammals in the game with even higher EVs.
There are several mammals in the baskets.
The llama is not a breeding animal.
Unless the platform of the event changes dramatically the llama should be nothing more than an alternative to submitting breeding animals.
At that point the acquisition rate is what should be considered.
    For instance:
The lowest list price for the llama on market 40 now is: 97,545
The EV of the llama is 985
If I bought right now then the rate I would be paying is 97,545 divided by 985
The rate is 99.03 <----------------- naahhhhhhhhhhhh too high

Elephant price divided by EV gives me the rate
which is 29,113 divided by 488
equals 59.7 <----------------------------- lower so better

I just picked the mustang horse and the rate is 74.8 which is still lower than the llama today

If one is somewhat efficient then one would desire to pay the lowest amount per EV point.

ALSO, one must have the quantity!

Llama pens may be purchased easily.
Feed takes a while to mill.

I began a farm called llama-drama_broke when llamas were introduced into the game. The farm only produces the llama. The constant problem is feed. There might be 4-5,000 llamas there today. I do not check the farm because the feed issue is so bad.

    Good alternative to breeding animals.
    Limits will be quickly faced.

    -----edit-----
That price shown above for llamas is too high for now. Lower the acquisition price and one finds there are several animals which are competitive including the llama.

Also, lots of power feed being given away on the wheel. Requirements must be higher. (What BeePs gives away, BeePs takes away and even more. xD)

Question: So it’s true rumors that the llama will get a role in the breeding event in August.
Answer: If I survive this breeding event as an oracle, here in the rumor, I will put my two wings together with my remaining feathers! It’s one thing for the llama to spit everything out, but even the stars don’t know what they want specifically.
In any case, I would be preparing for the event with a couple of protagonists. Right now, I see that the event doesn’t ask for much, about 3 dozen can be enough to prepare.

If I understand it correctly, approximately 35 - 40 llamas will be required for the August breeding event (may change).

    Thanks SB!
And there is the change. (I now have the understanding that there is no choice for at least a part of this event. A required nonbreeding animal it seems!)
If preparing according to the gossip then producing 3 dozen llamas is easily doable.

Thank you for pointing to the baskets. Baskets often contain important hints to prepare for an event before the FAQ is released.

    Sorry everyone!

The stars had already whispered the value to me at an elevated barn value, but I didn’t notice that! Therefore, I automatically divided the required amount by two.

Bottom line, those 3 dozen need to be multiplied by two! So between 5-6 dozens of the required amount is expected. (closer to five)
    Thank you Máriusz!

llamas? crap. I have a couple of llama pens and was about to buy more, but realised I dont have a sweet chestnut tree for feed. Is it worth the 200K+CC just to buy 30 feed? Then there would be the extras. I am assuming the sweet chestnut was a wonder tree?

Sweet Chestnut, not chestnut. The sweet chestnut does not appear to be purchasable. I have manure loads of normal chestnut :)

    About season rewards
Currently, I see our latest reptile and a tree that fulfills the wishes.

In a few words about August
I see some new farming quests for high level farmers.
    Crates to choose from (sorting)
We will be able to speed up our progress again with a few packages (in both areas),
Around the middle of the month, the love shack can work even with half an investment again (1st supply),
Older decors will also be offered by the stars, and a new jackpot is expected on the wheel.
We will also be able to get rid of our accumulated fruits in a month.
