Feedback Aqua Mania

Hope this last Quest (Ocean Magic) gives a lot of pearls because I am not even halfway there on any of my farms.

 

I think I've just hit the wall....I usually really enjoy the fishing event, but this time, there is just way too much to do to be able to get to the fishing! I give up!

 

All I seem to get from my fishing is 10 stars, 10 stars, 10 stars... With over 6 600 stars that I already have and don't know what to do with a pearl or two would be welcomed. Agree with all above. Sad to say but a brilliant and fun event made tedious and plain boring. Back to the drawing board guys!

 

This is most annoying event I have ever played,so fed up waiting 24 hours for more fishing lures

Only for 3 pearls so far rewards for this event not really that great or excited in terms of waiting times

Finally got enough pearls for one CR. Mostly regular lures, so very slow going. I really don't like this tedious and unexciting event.

 

I was absent for a wile so didn't participate in the two companion events (or three?) who gave compass and whistles. So I presume, that I will not have the opportunity to get these items. Ergo I will not be able to open any of the "old" bubbles.
Maybe I am wrong, but IF it is the case: WHY are you running an overarching event for weeks and weeks?
Not funny and I think, I will go off farmerama again for a while.. or even longer!

 

I think the drop rate of the pearls is atrocious. I have 5/12 and there is very little time left. I have 6 of the 7 bubbles open on lures and just hate that I only have a few chances each day to get the pearls that I will need to finish this awful event.

 

I think it is highly unfair that the pearls are tied to chance. I have all of my pearls, despite missing opening my crates multiple times, therefore depriving myself of probably twenty opportunities to go fishing... which brings me to my other feedback - I HATE when we have these timed things to remember to open! I've got enough to remember in my life. I don't like that my hobby requires me to remember as well. If you MUST have such things, can we get a reminder, like you do for the calendars and the daily gift? Please???

 

I agree with -matselleste- regarding the timed opening. This 23 hours for lures ( and 20 hours for seasons pass) is ridiculous. This means that eventually they will rotate through nighttime sleeping hours and unless you have set your alarm for 2 am, 3 am 4 am (heaven forbid anybody actually has to go to work) you end up waiting until you wake up in the morning, in effect 24 hours. I already have most of mine opening together now because of lost hours.
Just make the things 24 hours and be done with it, because that's what I am defaulting to at the moment.
Ps I have just organised a wake up alarm for 2.36am tomorrow morning. Disgusting!!!!!! If I can manage that one, it will be 1.36am the next day, then 12:36am the following, then 11:36pm the day after that. I can manage from there. Oh wait that gives me 4 days left of normal time frames.

 

I like the 23h timer for the special bubbles. Some of us can't harvest at the exact same time every day and with a 24h countdown, I'd end up harvesting later and later in the day. Eventually, this would mean missing a couple of harvests over the month-long event because there's no way I'm getting up in the middle of the night for extra lures - I'd have to wait until I wake up the next morning.

 

I guess it depends on your location for everything. For me most of my stuff happens in the mornings as events start at 8pm. So after a sleep on a full crop, the morning harvest nets the results to be able to proceed with a task, and then open one of the crates. So I start with a morning time already, which progresses back to 5am, 4 am etc, and because I dont/wont wake up in the middle of the night, it is usually 24 hours for me. In the case of the season pass, I lose 4 - 5 hours every day.

 

I harvest in the morning too.

I prefer to think of the 23h timer as a 24h countdown with some wiggle room built in for people like me. I don't think BP actually expects anyone to wake up in the middle of the night as the timer rotates through nighttime sleeping hours.

Which part of the season is set to 20 hours?

 

I have to opposite problem as have opened both cloud rows with pearls and still have enough that I don't need to make a necklace! I'm hoping for useful rewards..

Way to go BoHoKaren! That's some awesome fishing. I've got the cloud row open with a couple to spare. I was pleased to see yesterday that my fishing skills ( ability to tap a touchpad ) weren't too bad, I've only caught 6 mackerel (5 & 6 intentional as I wanted to open the crate), and 9 lobster.

 

Oh, you mean the 80 bonus season reward points every 20 hours for season pass owners. I missed that part when I skimmed through the FAQ earlier, sorry.

Nearing 1 week left and I can really say this event has turned from a favorite to near the very worst. I have all but one of the bubbles open as that was buried near the end of the list on an event that was very hard to finish (I got 94/100 levels on it and if I got up at 4 a.m. I would have finished) and the drop rate is so random on the pearls that some have more than enough and others can't seem to get them. I saved lures from the last 2 days and had 18 and open them this morning I had 1 deluxe, 5 premium and 12 regular lures when I opened the boxes. I got mostly the top 3 fish so had lots of chances and got 0 pearls. I now have 8 pearls in all this time.

I am getting very close to hating this game that I have loved playing since early 2010 and have put so much money into over the years. The reason is the randomness of the rewards and the sheer fact that no matter how hard you try or how much money you put into it, you just CAN"T get it finished any more.

 

I was stuck on 8 pearls for a while too. I then switched to harvesting all bubbles, but opening crates 1 at a time and fishing with just that 1 crate open. Got 4 pearls back to back. It is probably just a coincidence, but I've stuck to that method. Anything is worth a try, right? Good luck, I wish we could send you some.

 

The lure boxes are awful - please bring back the gone fishing event in its original form. This was one of my favourites and its been ruined. I much prefer making my own lures. I was late to the party as it as and have so far got one pearl, so no cloud row for me. It's boring waiting for the crates and disappointing to open them to find very few decent lures. Big fail; stop trying to "improve" what we love and focus on what we don't like.

 

I got both Cloud rows several days ago. Tonight after finishing my lures (won't get any tomorrow because the event ends before I'd be able to harvest the lure crates), I now have 8 more pearls I can't do anything with. Really, it isn't that hard to stop awarding them after 12 are earned. Or make it so there is something else to use them on. As for the format of the fishing game, others have already made the same comments that I would make. It used to be more fun.
