I checked for your baby farm in the lists for 2016 and 2017, as well as 2015 and 2018 just in case. I only mentioned 2019 because I didn't know exactly which year you were looking at and the link I provided shows the results for 2019 by default. From there, you can click on any of the years from 2012 to 2018.

Here are the links for 2016 and 2017 in case you can't find them. Both lists go all the down way to 3000, but they don't go any further than that because 3000 was the cut-off point in the game. Again, I don't understand how you can go from #10 near the end of the event to past 3000, when I was at a much lower position and still managed to make the cut-off for the first tier without donating huge amounts in the last minute.

I used Ctrl+F to find your farm. I'm sorry but it doesn't get any more thorough for me than that.

As I've said before, the Frisbee Dog Competition was in May 2017, whereas the Harvest Hoedown usually takes place in November.

When you suggest I'm the one misremembering things, you're just speaking the "truth" (respectfully, of course), but when I suggest you're the one misremembering things, I'm making a "negative insinuation"? Bit of a double standard there...

I never accused you of lying so I don't know why you keep going on and on about "truth". I have no doubt you truly believe Lily_pink made it all the way to #10 in the HH, and that you shared your honest memories to the best of your ability. That doesn't change the fact that nothing you said seems to add up.

This is getting tiresome for me too. I initially replied to your post because I thought you were confused about which competition Lily_pink participated in. I also had some concerns about your comments being potentially misleading to newer players. But I see now it is about much more than that and there is nothing I can say to change your mind, so I officially give up.

Since you said yourself that you did not participate for the accolades, I would greatly appreciate it if you refrained from mentioning that your baby farm made it to #10 in the HH in the future unless you can provide evidence for your claim. There are enough players out there who think these HHs are doable without really understanding what it takes to make the cut. Please don't contribute to that problem - that is all I ask.

This will be my last reply to you. Have a nice day.

Edit: Apologies to everyone else for derailing the thread.

Thank you in return for your honest response - as you see it.

It seems we are at an impasse. You were indeed making negative comments which have been misleading.

And - whether it is your personal opinion that I should or should not say what I have seen with my own eyes, and felt the joy of accomplishment - that is not for you to decide.

Just because you are unable to understand something does not mean that it cannot be or happen.

And just because there is a probable situation that you personally say you do not understand, does not negate the possibility.

Several times I have suggested that in the last moments when the final donations poured in, they pushed many of us way down the list. It can be a huge drop, and I had no more I was willing to contribute.
I have repeatedly suggested that just going down to 3000 was most likely stopping too short. That is the most probable reason you have been unable to find Lily_Pink.

    However:
Do you really think that because the lists you saw stopped at the end of 2000 that it means that was all the players who played?!
Thousands more, most probably many thousands more, also played - a few of whom might also have been knocked down from the higher levels.

It is too bad that the lists stop at the end of 2000 - but that IN NO WAY negates the fact that #10 was reached by Lily-Pink - no matter how briefly, and was then buried down the 'black hole' (so to speak).

For you to presume to negate all that that farm went through, and sacrificed, to reach #10 - if only for such a short time (that you missed it), is unconscionable and insulting. Or are you are claiming that you never took yours eyes off that one spot for all the days it was running. Highly unlikely. We all need to eat and sleep sometime.

How many, many times have we all heard our friends sharing with us just how far they had gotten, only to be overtaken in the last moments?!
Lily_Pink is no different, and certainly not misleading, but should be encouraging to others to try.

And, frankly, considering all the things you and I have discussed and discovered in this extended discourse - it may just be a good lesson in many aspects for those considering participating in the Harvest Hoedown.
They do have the right to make their own decision, informed or not, for themselves.

Ok, one more reply and then I'll shut up - for real this time.

According to your comment history, Lily_pink was a baby farm that you started on Dec 18, 2016. It appears you stopped posting under that name around June 25, 2018, and then abandoned that farm for about a year before posting once more in this thread on Oct 6, 2019.

That leaves 2017 as the year you most likely participated in the HH. The minimum donation required to make it onto the list that year was 62,199,950 EV.

So let me get this straight: you put in less than 62,199,950 EV, reached #10 towards the end of the event, ran out of goods to contribute, and then a huge flood of last minute donations pushed you down past the cut-off point at #3000. Meanwhile, I put in several times that amount, yet I was much further down the list (somewhere in the middle) towards the end of the event and, with the help of a last minute donation in the final 10 mins, managed to secure my place at #572 after the event was over. Not to mention the handful of players I was watching via the filter also managed to, for the most part, stay where they were - their positions shifted a little but I don't remember seeing any of them drop as precipitously as you did. Funny how this huge flood of last minute donations by the "big hitters" completely wiped you off the map, but left myself and the players I followed mostly unscathed.

And even though I was checking that list every 10 mins in the last few hours of the competition, the reason I didn't see Lily_pink briefly appear near the top of the list (before she got buried) was because I wasn't watching that list 24/7 each and every day the event was running. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you say you were at #10 near the end of the event just before the final donations poured in? Does time work differently where you live?

How is this more plausible than my theory where Lily_pink participated in HH 2017, but you got the details of your accomplishment mixed up with what you achieved during the Frisbee Dog Competition? I have no problem believing you're somewhere past the cut-off point at #3000 with all the other players who participated but didn't make the cut. What I can't believe is that you ended up there after reaching #10 so late in the competition. I can understand dropping 50-100, maybe even 200 places, but 3000+ on the last day? Come on... Show me one example of this happening to anyone else and I will gladly take back what I said.

Look, I'm sorry if you found my comments hurtful and insulting, but I've already explained why I felt the need to fact-check your claims. The only reason I'm replying now is because I wanted to clarify a couple of things and rule out the possibility that there is a problem with my reading comprehension. Please correct me if I've mischaracterized anything you said.

I was politely asking you to refrain from doing so in the future in the hopes that we can avoid a repeat of this situation. It's 100% your call, though. We can always do this again if you enjoyed it so much...

That'll be all from me. If you want to have the last word, be my guest. Peace.

Edit: In case it wasn't clear, I believe you are confusing briefly reaching #20 in your level bracket in the Frisbee Dog Competition with briefly reaching #10 in the Harvest Hoedown.

Guys, what if Farmlily's baby farm simply had a graphics display glitch? That's my first thought, and it does happen. It may have shown that she was #10 (perhaps an error) then reset and booted her out entirely. Or perhaps half the servers were down momentarily and out of the remaining live accounts connected, she was #10. You just never know. I've had it happen to me with a different game where I was confused for 5 mins that I was suddenly the highest ranked player in Australia. Then the server caught up and I was far from it xD

At the end of the day Farmlily saw Lily-pink farm at #10 for a short time. That's all thats important.

Wasn't expecting anyone else to chime in (not complaining), so here I am replying again... even though I said I wouldn't...

True, I can't rule out a display glitch on her end - at least that explanation doesn't violate the rules of time and basic arithmetic.

Like I said, I was checking that list every 10 mins (the list refreshes every 10 mins, from what I remember) during the last few hours and farmlily3 has suggested several times that she was at #10 before getting pushed way down the list by the final donations. I didn't notice anything strange in that time so half the servers momentarily going down seems very unlikely to me - not saying it could never happen, but I'm reasonably certain it didn't happen in the time frame farmlily3 has provided.

I honestly don't care what farmlily3 personally believes. I'm more worried about her misleading other players into thinking the HH competition is easier than it is. Regardless of what actually happened, she clearly doesn't understand what it takes to make it into the HH top 10. All I need is for her to keep it to herself in the future and I will be happy to leave her alone so she can believe whatever she wants.

If it wasn't for that, I would've ended this discussion after my first 2 replies when it became clear that she didn't find my comments very helpful.

    Siiiiigghhhh....here we go again.

    {o_Ooops - wrong again! I actually did/DO appreciate all the time and trouble you have expended. It is your errant conclusions to which I object - and not allowing for human imperfections even when they might be your own.}

One thing I did find plausible was the possibility that I had misjudged the timing of when I was @#10. Not 'if'.
That was a 1-off experience just to see it done, and I am satisfied knowing that my goal was accomplished, even though it seriously drained Lily_Pink's farm, and was the primary reason for leaving that farm.

Your description of the MAY event(F
risbee Dog event) that you keep trying to confuse with the November Hoedown would never have drained Lily_Pink like that - especially the way you have described the miniscule amount required for the Dog Event. Not to mention that they were half a year apart.

Your figure of 62 million plus EV's is the probable reason for Lily_Pink's getting pushed out of the top rankings.
Lily_Pink was just a few thousands short of being a Billion dollar farm even back then when everything was lots cheaper. I suppose it could have 'bought' its way farther up the EV list, but I didn't think it was worth sacrificing any more of the farm.
Last time I visited, it still had over 900million+++.
It's a bit sad, it looks like an antique now - without all the zoo-full of new animals and things. It was the best baby farm I've had.........maybe one day I'll start it up again.

It is difficult to believe, however, that you really think those who play this game enough to even want to enter HH are so stupid that they cannot think - or read - or listen - for themselves.

Anyone who has read Forum comments, or enough about about HH to want to try it - and has acquired enough goods to be willing to permanently part with them - or has any conversation at all with their Neighbors and/or others on the Forum.....can certainly make up their own mind...
...and THEY have the RIGHT to do so.

They do not need to be misled and discouraged by you - or anyone else, including me - simply because you have difficulty accepting the concept that there just may be some things in this life that you may not understand.
Hasn't it ever occurred to you that, just m-a-y-b-e, you had a 'glitch' (or ate, or slept, or went to the loo) and missed me? (That's o.k. - I missed you, too :))

Just like I find your insistence and repeated comments that you: "checked every 10 minutes" difficult to accept with the intensity you claim. However, this repeated comment leaves me totally in awe of your talents to avoid sleeping, not spending any time using the bathroom, or preparing/eating food, or drinking anything (because it would take your eyes in a different direction), or talking, during the Hoedown.
Most of us know that the list changes all the time and it can sometimes be quite hard to keep up - though I sincerely admire your (heroic) efforts!
And I do truly thank you for all the time you have spent on this. You have answered some of my questions at great effort, and I am sincere in my thanks to you.
I hope we may have more compatible and satisfactory conversations in the future. :)
    Happy Farming, zerodegrees.:)

ctindaldavies: Thank you for your welcome thoughts on this subject. It is kind of you to offer them. I have seen your comments about how long ago you used to play - and I'd like to add my 'Welcome Back' to all the rest!:D

    Thanks @farmlily3!

I also have a few hundred basic lynxes. What I need is their breedings, and there are very few offers in our market.
I guess I'm gonna have to wait for another Black Friday + BB and spend all the PF I have.

Would you like me to breed a few and sell them to you? Which ones are you interested in?

Right now I have 10 shadow Lynx; 10 Snow; 2 Scarlet; 1 Blue Collar;......annnnnd.......1 *LAB LYNX*! that I am willing to sell.

I checked for prices, and you're not kidding - not many for sale, and none of the highest.
But we can negotiate a fair deal...and discounts can apply for multiple buys.

From the above, I see you are willing to assist another to obtain what they want.

This farm is always buying and selling. This farm will buy nearly anything you are able to produce at a decent rate, anything.

First, I never see your farm in this market, market 40. Please list some animal at an unreasonable price and let me know the farm name and we are together if I can see it and buy it.

Sure I want them orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr if you would like I will be glad to send you the price I would list them for and quantity and you may do it.

Hi farmer_broke! Please accept my apologies for being so late to respond to your most welcome offer, as I am gone from my farm for days at a time now.
I'll contact you at your farmer_broke farm to be sure we get the details and timing right.
That is...AFTER I find out which Market I'm on. :)

For the peaches, please just send me the price your willing to pay and we'll get it done.

    Nice doing business with you.
