Hello to All my Finnish Friends and else !

I consider myself as a fluent English speaker, but since I've been playing the game in my native tongue it's sometimes hard to figure out the terminology used here since the Finnish in-game jargon was somewhat different (you can't directly translate from Finnish to English or vice versa - due to some basic structural and conceptual differences between the languages) . And as I'm reaching pension age (born in 1961) I'm not totally comfortable with the way younger people use English (or native Finnish youngsters for that matter ). I've learned my English basics in the golden 70's and I may sometimes use very olden or even pre-historic expressions from the way back. Please bear with me.

But hey, no problem, we live and learn, I don't find this unpleasant at all.

 

True, it's nice that even an older person can force a little to learn the general language of the world here. Although sometimes it’s pretty tricky to understand all things.

 

There's a lot of dinosaurs here that speak English from the 1970s (at least what my sons tell me)

Muorikka is so sad because we lost our own forum. We had many great support people there! This change is totally big lost for the player who hasn't got enough time to check all forum's groups and text daily even weekly. I can send messages to my neighbors via Sini but why Sini doesn't sent this closing information to all Finnish players? (Sorry, I don't know what Sini's English name is and no time to find it out now.) What was the reason for closing? Did we ask too many questions and did we have too many improvement proposals? I really appreciate if we could get our own group for Finnish people inside the forum - thank you.

Hi all! Nobody probably remembers me since I posted very rarely on the finnish forum. I used to be a very active player in the past, but not anymore. I only just found out the finnish forum is gone. I used to read and search for information there and always found support when needed.

When I started playing Farmerama almost 10 years ago, my personal life was quite a mess. This game was one of the rare things I actually enjoyed back then. Nowadays it's the opposite. I'm very happy irl, but I don't really enjoy playing anymore. In my opinion Farmerama has been going on the wrong direction for many years and I don't expect it to change any better.

So, thank you all fellow Finns! I still play sometimes, so I'm not totally gone.
