It does play load faster and play faster! Thank you for that!

I do wish I could make it full screen. The window is quite small in spite of my large monitor, so it's difficult for me to see some things (old eyes).

Also, if it 'locks up' (loading flower just spins non-stop), I don't see a way to 'reboot' easily. I had to close the window and start anew.

 

@PrairieMaiden23 you can use the zoom feature in the game's settings but it would be better if they let us resize the window like normal

 

it loaded and played really well but unless it can be made larger it would be impossible for me to use as it is just too small!

 

I downloaded it ..... Can't use it as i cant resize the main game window Its TINY with my high resolution Screen ...... My poor ol eyes cant see for Jack .........

 

Agree with all of the above, it's super fast and really nice... but so small!

I tried it and it has some of the same problems as Unity (the bubbling and the crops that don't look ready) as well as some new ones. I couldn't open castaway coast, it loads to some percent and then throws back to the map. And I could open the forum from the forum button but I couldn't write or search because it didn't log me into the forum. It opened the forum in Edge that I wasn't using and closed Firefox that I was.

If you downloaded an earlier version of the Standalone Client, try uninstalling it, then downloading the newer version to see if that solves your problem.

ok its not as bad zoomed in but still not as big as i would like but i gues i'm being picky

when i made it bigger i have no way of moving up or down the arrows are not there on the side!

 

Holy cow! The zoom feature works! I made it almost as big as my monitor screen! Yay!

Here's a tip for those of us with "baby farms" - with the window SMALLER (zoom it down on purpose if necessary) you can layer one farm in the Unity client window over another farm open in a browser window and put both of them in the market and buy/sell very easily. When you click into the farm in the browser window, the unity client windowed farm goes underneath, then just click the little scarecrow guy in your task bar and the window will pop back up when you need him for the next transaction.

 

After installing the game ( in the browser ) asked its needed a restart to the client can open properly. I did it and it worked. All good. But the third time I tried open the client, the client window stay in white and nothing load while the cpu is at 100% and the client continue eating the memory. I don't know if this is a bug of some sort for old computers, or this happen because the fact this is an old pc. It worked at first so maybe is not the pc.

 

It does seem a lot better... are there any drawbacks ?

 

Hi it downloaded something automatically today and it looks like the forum issue got solved as I can write now. The forum opened in Chrome today, and I wasn't using that either. Go figure.

The map is still rather iffy, I have clicked on several fields, sat and waited for the sheep to load the percents , only to be thrown back to the map that I started from. Now I'm stuck with loading flowers on Bahamarama. .

Over the years I have gathered lots of flying pets and now it's rather impossible to harvest pets by hand because the animations can't be turned off and there's critters flying all over the place.

Oh and I tried Unity earlier today and I wasn't able to activate bonuses or crafting products, or so it looked, they didn't show in the bonus window and using them didn't change the numbers available. But this seems to have been a visual bug as I switched to the client and it looks like the bonuses were activated after all.

The client does not remember my username, password or language settings.

And now i'm stuck in the bahamarama map and can't get back to the farm side.

 

Yeah, the client locks up sometimes. On random things, generally when I try to do things too quickly. I have to slow down.

Yesterday, I had to use task manager to close it, it was locked up tight and didn't resolve out after about 5 minutes. I was in Crystal Falls if I remember right, this farm.

Anyway, the link to the forums taking you to a random browser - that means that you have not set a default browser on that computer. I set my default to Chrome ages ago, so any time I click a link outside of a browser window, it opens Chrome. You can set your default browser by opening whatever browser you want to use as a default, go to the 'help' section, settings and click the toggle to make it your default.

 

I don't see trees being problematic

 

I tried the Zoom feature and it works but it cuts off the bottom of the screen (125%). I would like a Customizable Zoom Feature where I could set it at 120% (or whatever fits in my screen without cutting anything off).

The gift giving menu of friends needs to be changed. The black on brown is hard to read and the friends are not numbered.

 

They should just let us resize the window like normal. ~edit~ wouldn't this be much better?

 

Here are my trees that are all ready to harvest except one -- the White Poplar. As you can see they all look the same. If you have the harvester active there is no problem but if you are harvesting them manually you have to hover over every one of them individually to see if they are ready to harvest or not (time consuming).

Spinning flowers (takes forever loading). Hope this is fixed soon because it really interferes with gameplay especially when there is an ongoing event.

Removing used up EPs (with limited charges) has to be done one at a time. Click red basket, click delete and then click EP and then repeat these 3 steps for each one (also too time consuming).

I now have some type of shadow on ALL my fields in the top right corner -- looks like a shadow of 4 trees and another one with a dirtmound behind them.
