In fairness, this is a six-day event even if some of us are trying to finish it in two. :p

I hate waiting for drops though, I've now also finished Suneye. I'm going to hold off on the tree idea and plant a 15-hour crop for the overnight. The rest of my farm is covered in long term animal stalls anyway so I'll revisit it tomorrow. Good luck all and my the drops be with you!

The new year has just started and in this (2nd) event the Team already shows players what is to expect in the many events yet to come. They don't care a dime about what players expect from events or the game, they want you and me to pay for it the one way or the other.

My farm needs 5 more harvests of +16 hrs crops to gain around 600 drops from 188 plots/harvest. I can do so prior to event end without spending a cent. GAH!

Download the Puffin Browser on your phone, it works better there, a little slower and sometimes laggy, but it does work.

I'm with everyone else, just further behind as I'm just working with CAC, manure and water, and haven't been able to harvest during the day. I am working on Catlipoca. Still have 2500 to grow. But those drops .... I currently have 332. Add the 20 to start and that's 352. When you factor in that I started with 127 from the Saguaro I had pre planted, it's dismal. I get around 32/33 per harvest. Going to try and put a Howie out and see if that helps. So it will be finish the event crop, and keep cramming in other crops to get enough drops to start the next stage. Then we have to do it all over again at the finish line. I'm not actually sure if it's doable in the 6 days . If we are struggling what incentive is there for new players to even try, or stay playing? If all the events are unobtainable without having to spend money, then why would you stay?

While I don't disagree that they want us to spend money this particular event is not as hard as we are making it. If the goal of an event is to get the CR and all the needed givers then that will be achieved after you finish growing one crop and make that big drop donation. The second half with the second crop are just additional prizes including a 2nd set of givers. Maybe everyone else realized that but I have to say I didn't.

You're all correct - drops are not keeping up - not even close. i'm on step 6, cloud row, with 378 of 1080 required drops. Decided to do the longer timed event crop first, for whatever difference it made in drops. Not sure, at this point, that I'll be able to finish the second half. Was looking forward to the Piccolo Wonder Box.

Me too Baw! I put out some CFs and will finish the short crop in a couple of hours BUT ... I am a long way off from the drops to carry on with the next part (433 at this point). I will just try to put out the longest crops possible and keep recharging the mill for starter seeds to get me off to a good ... start when/if I do eventually get enough drops! :p

Seems my luck with the Crate of Party Spins was a fluke, opened three times and got one, two, one ... still enjoying the fruits from that first box and my lucky spins! :inlove:

For overnight crop I used lablab bean (19 hrs). With buffs: tiki timer, essence of wisdom and healing ointment growing time is 9.35 hrs. That reaped about 110 sickle & hammers. Still only have 470/1080 + 20 needed for next stage ... a long way to go. 8):(

I do not worry about drops yet, I have a long way to go to grow all needed suneyes. Perhaps I must crow something else during the night than suneyes.

This event is rated medium-hard, so it means hard work to achieve everything.

Overnight lablab beans netted 86 drops (with 2 Howies + one in Tree of Wisdom) - total is now 476

I saved 40 "Treasure Maps". I did "catlipoca" instead of "suneye". :(-.-

I am sooooo cross >:(. Whilst the game runs pretty well for me now, I am sick to death of the actions that don't seem to stick and register with the server! It's happened more than once that applied SSG doesn't take, but you don't realise that until you come back later and it's too late.
Last night it was my small stash of treasure maps. Booked in an 18 hour run of power feed and hid the treasure maps behind it.
Came back 10 mins later and it's all gone. PF action obviously didn't take, although the timer started straight away, that's just the graphics. If it doesn't set with the server, too effing bad. So now I am trying to start a habit of refreshing the game after everything "important" action. Grr.

After I've been doing this event for a few days I find it rather rude of the Game team to ask for this many crops and drops, when they can't get the game to run smoothly. It's such a shame.

Ps. The smirky messages, "Get up and stand on one leg while you wait for the game to load" as an example, also gets on my nerves. Wonder who came up with that brilliant phrase? All I wan't is to get into the game.

Not aiming to complete any level of the game. Just playing to get in touch once again with the game. Right now in level 2 of the event. Many thanks to my former neighbours who are sending me gifts.

    xDxDxDxDxD

Thanks. :) I just now found it out. Now playing in Chrome browser.

I have no doubts anymore that Borsty manages the BP. xD

So, greedy BP, this is the end of fun.

With the problems in the new Unity and stand alone client, I feel the support team could take all this in consideration when working out the time it will take to finish this minigame without have to buy extra's. As of right now I have 468 sickle and hammers and my drop rate is per hours play. With only +/- 28 hours left to complete game it is clear that this is a fight lost.
This is a plain field with water manure and super grow with a white essence bonus for the super grow.
I am currently on level 225 and this is one of the worst Mini games I have ever play in Farmerama.

unfortunately for a standard player, these type of events are ridiculously hard with the drop factor out of our control. i just look at the prize list for the stages, see what i need or really want, then head for that as my goal rather than trying to finish a event i know i will fail at the final hurdle. as long as i get the manta stable and cloud row for the giver items ive been given.....then i will settle for that.

At this point, my only goal is to get the CR. As of this morning's harvest of honeydew's I'm at 633 drops leaving me with 417 to get the CR. With 2.5 days left and having to use 12+ plants, I have to assume I only have 5 harvests left. That would mean I have to get at least 73 drops per harvest. Does that seem doable at this stage? Not really. :(

Hence, the reason I opened Ginseng this morning and used SG on a field of it. I'm only slightly less irritated to use SG on a new crop than I would be to use it on crops I have in abundance.

I'm not sure what I'm more irritated at, having to use SG on a normal crop or being forced to do math. -.-

Good luck with the new crop. I had to giggle about being forced to do mathxDxDxD I love math, but I know so many people do not. Thank you for the laugh this afternoon.

I have 701 drops and waiting for the rest to reach the CR and the end to the first half. As the drops are preventing me from moving on to the 2nd crop, there doesn't seem to be any reason to keep trying to mill those seeds as the system replenishes the treasure maps every few hours. I have 40 seeds that are in the 'placeholder' position in the mill after a very long mill feed going to delete and mill the 2nd crops seeds. There is not enough time to pursue the 2nd half of event once the 1st half is done.
I would have liked the wonder stables, crates o buffs and the piccolo wonder box that are in that half's prizes but the good thing about this game is that there is always another event coming along very, very soon. So while I grumbled about this event both here and in Feedback, I rarely stay irritated for long, and am ready to put this one behind us and look to something new and different.
