CR up and running. Used lablab beans for drops, enhancing them as racheliz did but also added SG - oh so much SG

 

mindy, congrats on the cloud row. I have almost 700 drops of the 1080 needed, I don't think I'll get it, lol.

 

Now I am worrying about drops, I am missing 6 suneyes and 370 drops for CR. I need all the possible season points to get gecko.

 

I've donated my crops catlipoca but only have 535 drops. Planting long crops and will see how I go with 45 hours left. Have abandoned any hope of even starting the second half.

 

Finished growing catlipoca and still need 430 drops! Too ask for this many drops (and crops) from one field is insane. I thought I would get the longer growing crop out of the way first. I agree with hatzeva - the game developers never should have planned an event with such great demands when they have not even been able to get the game to run smoothly yet. I cannot even get a "round" of harvesting in without reloading several times, and that often is much slower than it was before.

I was happy to finally have an event in baha..., but this has been a huge miss for me so far.

 

There is no way I'm getting the drops for the CR

 

With less than two days to go, I am trying to get the cloud row having completed the catlipoca crop.
Using seven howies I am growing long time baha veges with CAC,tiki totem, white innocence and fruit cake with supergrow. I also have twelve magic trees and really good neighbours.
If I cannot get this done, then not many can!
After just catlipoca crops I had only 505 drops! (7 howies out most harvests)
harvested chayote 70 ish drops
harvested chayote overnight 77 drops.
harvested habenero 82 drops
harvested chayote only 44 drops! total now 814
harvested habanero 97 drops! Wow! total now 911 (waiting for 2.5 hours..... patiently-ish) 42 hours left
harvested habanero 99 drops! 1010 1000ish supergrow used so far.....
harvested habanero 103 drops. Got cloud row, onto second half.
Finished it all with twelve minutes left!
I was 199 drops short so I used 270BB which I am Not happy about, but I got that close and wasn't going to miss out on completion. I used about 2400 supergrow out of a stock of 12,000 and about 900 Suzy's supergrow from my stock of 4000.
One crop of lablab-bean only yielded 44 drops. It is weird how habanero consistently 'out-dropped' the longer baha vege crops of chayote and lablab-bean.

 

And you shouldn't need to use supergrow every single harvest. The drop rate is abysmal. I still need 480 to reach the cloud row. Had in Honey dew overnight and got around 87 drops. Have just put in a harvest of 1x2 Saguaro with SG to see what that does.

 

First half done, CR up and going ! Now moving on to second set of crops , I'll go as far as i can.

I'm absolutely amazed! I had about 950 drops towards the CR and the next part. I read all these posts about Howies not having much effect - I never move my Howies (too lazy) ... I had one on the Plantation. I moved my other two Howies just to see what happened and hey presto, for my 164 plots of Ixora I got a whopping 164 drops!

It only showed 15 drops when I first harvested but when I looked and saw I had over the 1,100 needed, I checked my pop-up menu and saw maximum drops from all plots.

I don't think I will get enough crops to finish that part (only 1,023 to go) and I definitely cannot get anywhere near the required 1,080 to finish the event but at least I haven't wasted all my resources for nothing!

 

Wow, good going. I have Saguaro in (same time frame) and got 90 drops with 3 howies on the field. Still 387 to go.

still need 196 more drops for first half (catlipoca) UGH!!!

 

scrap that idea....not going to get anywhere need the cloud row with only 1 day to go....near impossible!

 

I got my CR up and running and because I have friends who gave me "Gift Cards" this past Christmas I was able to "buy" green water
and use it on longer crops to get my drops, and also I have great friends and neighbors who send event gifts! So I just finished the "Suneye Cave"! BUT make no mistake without the help of the Green water I would NOT have been able to complete this very poorly figured out event! Good luck to you all in reaching your goals!

 

Started with Catlipoca - knew it would give better drops than the suneye.

Three farms doing the event: Sewinglady got enough drops to get the cloud row last night plus start on the suneye - might get one more step done. Might. This farm should make the cloud row - almost enough drops. Both SL's and this farm have TWO Howies on the plantation. Drop rate on long overnight crops is pretty good, but needing over 1000 drops to get the CR....ugh.

On the teenager farm, only one Howie on the plantation, and the drop rate isn't high enough because of other factors (like no CRs that give higher rate, no drop rats, etc.) So I don't know if that farm will get the cloud row...all done growing catlipoca, just need about 400 drops...we'll see what this morning harvest yields.

Where did this unplayable mini game come from? I do not hope this is the way all mini games work. drop rate is terrible and not even having a 200% and 2 100% bonus helped to increase the drop rate. Yes it help to grow Catlipoca's, currently have 9517 on hold but only 577 sickle and hammers. I have tried other plants but Catlipocas gave me the best drop rate 48 per 2 hour 20 minutes cycle. I am still a beginner only played for and a half month and currently on farm level 95 and Baharama level138, but something do not add up. I only need 503 sickles and hammers to finish the first half of the game.
If I am taking 48 per 2 hours 20 minutes I should have had 1728 sickles and hammers by the end of the game I am +/- 1000 short.
Game 5 days and 9 hours running. Take it you have to reload every 2 hours 20 minutes, sleeping time excluded, then you could harvest 36 times.
I think the game planners want to force you to buy super grow, sickle and hammer packs or cave packs to achieve the gift on the end of the game.
I would love to hear from level 150 and below if you achieve the goal?

Wow, this event is hard. I am on the very last step, having spent about 3000 supergrow and one 100% plant bonus to get here. I don't know if I'm going to finish. I need 526 drops. I don't mind spending supergrow, I usually don't need as much as you naturally get from the game so I have big stocks, but just getting enough harvests into the remaining time will be hard.

 

Good job shimmer. Still, you shouldn't have to constantly use SG. I have to buy it as I don't get much in game. and I do not want to be buying anymore for this event. Ive already used a lot. 23 hours to go and still need 287 drops for half way. 3rd crop of Sag in with SG, and I dont have enough left for a 4th. Will buy some more of course because I've wasted too much to fail the CR.
