I finally gave up after my 2nd harvest of Lablab beans and just bought the last 8 drops I needed to get the CR. I have quite a few treasure maps saved up if by some miracle get enough drops to open the next temple. I used a hefty amount of SG to get here though. This was not a fun event and I kind of wish I had not started it.

 

I didn't have to use supergrow. I wanted to, to reach the stretch goal and that wonder box. I love those wonder boxes, I got 3 BB trees out of them.
I agree the drop rate is abysmal, though. Needing supergrow to reach a stretch goal is one thing, players losing out on the main goal because the drop rate is so terrible is another.

Is your player name the same as your name on here? I can send you one drop at least.

 

I need over 300 drops to go. If the drop situation had been because of my error, I would have NO problem using SG, however, being that it isn't, I won't reward Bigpoint for their error, IMHO. The last time I saw a drop rate this abysmal was during the snowed in event.

 

my strategy for the missing drops was as follows.

<---- 90 * 2x1 plots

<---- result: 90 drops

 

I could finish the crops and finish up to level 13 - it would mean using all my SG and SSG (and buying lots more) to do so. But as I have absolutely no chance of getting the last 800 drops to finish the whole event, I have decided to call it a day. With another day or five, maybe I could finish!
Very disappointing ... hope the next event is a little better or I might have to ignore it altogether!

 

10 hours left and just got my cloud row - yay. Other farm nowhere near it. Drops just didn't happen. Half way mark just obtainable - With latherings of Supergrow!!!!

I finally managed to get the CR, although I had to buy the last 90 drops.. I just don't have any patience anymore... Hope the other events won't have such high drop demands...

-shahrzad-20 did you manage to finish the whole event? Have you also used some CR to increase drop rate? Or just what you showed in the ss?

 

I agree the drop rate was impossible without SG. I can't believe we couldn't even get halfway. I still have 280 some odd so no c row for me.

I've been growing catlipocas since this morning. Too little time to get bonus crates, but I can do one more level. Now I have an idea, how to do this kind of hard event next time - not to grow short time event plant at nights, too . There has been so many easy lazy events with excess of drops lately, so it is hard to find to right attitude and use all arsenal for extra event crop and grow long crop for the night.
There is a silver lining in my event after all. I got all seasons points, so now I have my first Gecko Terrarium and second one as well So I am not so annoyed as I were earlier. Next I must make room for wonder trees...

 

Does anyone still want any drops? I haven't sent out my gifts for today.
I'm 190 drops short of finishing the final step, with 6 hours left to go, so I'm going to finish this event thanks to liberal use of supergrow and every time-shortening buff I have. I'm currently running Chayote with tiki timer + healing ointment for shortening Baha vegetable growing time, and fruitcake + white innocence + a cloud row (the other one wasn't ready) for improving supergrow. It condenses a 15 hour growing time down to about 1.75 hours.

 

Thank you to all my neighbors and friends who sent me drops! I got the cloud row this morning. I got extra drops when harvesting saguaro because I had the Fuzzles in a cake buff activated! Woot! I am done with this event and am hoping that I am smart enough that if another one comes along with stupid high drop numbers like this I know better and avoid the whole affair like the plague.

 

i feel i have just wasted my time and buffs on this event i still need nearly 500 drops just to get the CR!

 

Very Impossible to get all needed Drops ! (I surrender - Last 3 levels, no nothing change to complete (even enough crops)!)

Actually that pet is for normal farms only, I had the same thought and did not get a boost from it so looked up the details.

In the end, I used more than half my stored SG, two harvest buffs, and my last bit of patience. I got the CR and was able to get the 1X1 giver. This one left a bad taste that's going to linger. I've been furiously raising animals for the breeding event and now I'm questioning if I will even participate. The CR is not exactly enticing.

 

I finished the whole event! I wonder if I'm the only one. I love the wonder boxes but I'm going to be pretty grumpy if it gives me tat. I spent 4000 supergrow (out of a stock of 30,000 that I didn't buy just saved up without really trying)

Yes please. I won't finish the whole event, will be lucky if I scrape together the last 50 or so drops I need just to get the CR. This event seemed way harder than necessary, and definitely not able to completely finish without using SG.


edit: make that 113 drops, I wasn't paying close enough attention. Will see what 2 rounds of fast bell peppers gets me. Gonna be really annoyed if I have to buy drops just to get the CR, not sure I will. (thank you Shimmer! ♥ )
