I just used 11 premium and 7 deluxe = zero pearls.

I also loved this event when it first came out. Now, I really don't even feel like playing it.

 

I have accumulated my tickets for days and bought deluxe bait and went fishing, but I could get 0 pearls again 0 I think I'm a bad fisher.

 

For BP to go to such lengths to dilute the rewards from this event is a sad indictment on their attitude to us. Are we not Worthy of the rewards given in the first event? And as they have continued to reduce our possible chances of getting some reward with the 'once a day' harvest, this same attitude by BP seems to be ingrained in their culture. The way I see it, giving crates as a reward is just a clever disguise to the chance that we might get next to nothing at all. OK, some crates give good benefits, but these are lost in the great piles that give little.
I am going to use this concentration on crates as a way to analyze future events as to whether I will bother with them. Combined with their proclivity for wanting astronomic amounts of crops, an increasing number of events are Not enticing.

 

Yes David! I'm not liking the crates much. Like I said in another post, where did BP get the idea that we like clicking on things so much? I'd much rather see what I have "won" immediately. And I agree that sometimes the crates give great rewards, but often they don't. And putting that extra step to find out what we "won" can disguise the worth of the event.

When i got my first 6 pearls two weeks ago just using normal fishing lure, Today using Normal Fishing Lures got me Guess what.......6 Pearls (TWICE)

At last got the Cloud Row.....Phew

Try my tactic Aim for the Outer Green Ring when is hoovers back towards it from Centre Circle, perhaps it boost your chances Fingers Crossed

 

I am trying the outer green ring Mooboy. It gave me Marlin twice. Still no pearls. Just now saw, the event will be over in another 27 hrs. What great use was this event. One couldn't get anything worth as reward.

 

With 1 day remaining, still no luck

I did get some very nice rewards to help my farm. The crates gave supplies that will help keep my farm running, but none of the 'top prizes' like a piccolo wonder box nor barnyard bills. Those are not too terribly disappointing since those are very rare but the lack of being able to get the CR is most troublesome. I will never begrudge the good fortune of others, but this event should have been designed for all to be successful. We have enough 'random wins' from other game sources like the farmwheel, crates, wonder stables and trees, etc. Events with predetermined requirements should have predetermined awards so we can decide if it is something we want to participate in. Unless the fishing event receives a drastic makeover, the event is doomed to be the most disliked event of the game which is a shame since it used to be one of the most enjoyable.

I have four farms and three have the cloud row. One is still waiting for enough pearls. Have one more harvest before time runs out and then o well. Really have grown to hate this event and crop amount on others is making me give them a pass also. Oh how a long for the good old days.

 

I need a miracle to get cloud row. I can get two vouchers tomorrow - two fishing lures or one small crate o' lures. Hard to get any reward crate with those.

 

Done my last lures... Bye-bye fishing bear! See you next ... Never!

I sat with 12 pearls for a couple of days and never got another. I did not get the CR.

 

12 pearls. No cloud row.

I had all the tickets open so I got the full ticket amounts. It’s not because I didn’t get a cloud row for this event.

Finished the event with 21 Premium, 32 Deluxe Lures and Zero pearls. My last lure gave 3 Marlin which would have needed to have all yield pearls (a girl can wish right?) to gain the CR but got Crates O Fish and Jolly Animals. Just disappointed but moving on....there are always more events around the corner (tomorrow ), so will dust off my puppy paws and wash the stinky fish smell off from this one and get ready for a wedding

Over 40 times with 2 best lures, get 12 pearls, get Premium lure for 8 pearls, CRAB and 4/5 crabs, now 3 weeks and 4 Pearls worth of NOTHING!

 

I had 12 pearls, my tickets were over, I decided to take a risk, I bought deluxe bait with the pearls in my hand and the result was the hanging turn, even one pearl increased, I am happy I hope everyone wins.
