    Treasure Hunt
    FAQ - Treasure Hunt
    12th of May 2021 - 18th of May 2021

Event is done only in Bahamarama Plantation only

Event crops are Plantable on the Bahamarama Plantation only
and drops are got from Crops & Trees from Bahamarama Plantation only

    Event Crops needed:
    Northward flower: 6,510 - 7 hours crop
    Tropical cork: 9,750 - 5 hours crop

    Event drops:
    Secret Message: 2,180

    How to play

We will not get event crops. We have to mill them.
We will receive 5 Mysterious Scrolls at the start of event. It will be replenished every 5 hours.
At start of event, you need to choose a Treasure Hunt to unlock your preferred crop.
Depending on what you choose, you will get either Pirate’s Maps or Pirate’s Quills to make the event crop in the mill.
With the said pirate's map or quills and mysterious scroll mill the event crops. After completing step 7, you will receive the second ingredient for the second crop and you can continue to get extra rewards using the second crop.

I hope this one is better than the previous iterations of this event dynamic. -.-

Thanks for starting this thread, One-Two. ;)

This is one of those where you have to choose which prizes you want most - if it is anything like the last of this type of event, it is almost impossible to finish and get all the prizes. Let's hope I'm wrong. -.-

I will probably start with the 7 hour crop and, in between, keep putting any extra 5 Mysterious Scrolls in to mill and trying to make sure they don't complete so I can accumulate the other crops. This is to help me get more of a head start with them when/if I get to the second half! :music:
The best laid plans and all that! Good luck all! :D

thanks for the calculation. Drop will only come out of the plantation, I guess. There may be a drop problem.

Thanks 12ss12, for your nicely done post!;) I will plan to do one side only and it will probably be the "Tropical Treasure"
I have prepared Baha plantation with 1x1s and the 24 hour Ixora plant! I am hoping this helps with the large amount
of drops we need:p I hope the drop rate is good! Good luck to all doing this even! I do have 2 Howie's on that field too!:music:

ugh. 7 hour crop for me. I'll be happy if I get the cloud row and necessary givers, elated if I get the piccolo box. Not even gonna try to do the second half. Nope. Not going there.

Gotta remember to move my howies. Drops are always an issue with tropical lands only events. Several of the drop rate buffs (cloud rows) only affect mainlands, so howies are critical.

I seem to remember hating the last event that had these dynamics. I'm not going to go crazy over this as the CR is pretty ho-hum. I'm just going to focus on the season points and if I'm lucky enough to get a piccolo box I will be happy. I haven't decided which crop yet but I'm leaning towards the 7 hour one.

7 hour one will yield slightly better drop rate. Not greatly improved, but a little better. Drops are always the issue on these Baha events. If you've got Howies - move 'em now and put in either Stevia or Ixora right now to harvest tomorrow morning. I just used up almost all of PM23's bananas and opened Ixora - I know we've got new goodies for baha tomorrow, but trees can wait and the workshop is nothing that farm needs.

I'm going with the longer crop too. We'll be gone tomorrow, so harvesting will be an issue, and longer crop will maybe make it a little easier. I planted water hyacinth rather than Ixora, as both have same time to maturity, I have way more Ixora than hyacinth, and I just plain like the hyacinths, lol. I still have substantially more trees out on plantation than would like, as I was in process of removing them as they were ready to harvest, but ran out of time (field was full from the homecoming event over weekend). So I'm torn with leaving them as is or taking them out anyway. Being as Baha trees don't usually yield as good a drop rate, I'm thinking to go ahead and yank them and put crop in their place. Even tho it won't be ready at same time as what I planted already, it still might improve my initial drops. Any thoughts on this strategy, anyone?

edit: Just realized I goofed. Ixora is actually longer than the hyacinth, it's Saguaro that's the same. That's what I get for planting when very tired. :p Oh well, 36 excess trees pulled and replaced with Ixora, hopefully they'll be kind with drops but not holding out a lot of hope on that one. 8)

As for the new content, like many old farms, I have tons of GBs, so will use my free Baha fields to grow new trees and make towels. We'll probably never need them, as that seems to be the way it goes with a lot of the new shiny things, but if company shows up unexpectedly, I'll be well prepared ;).

I thought i post some useful Pointers, Weather it is worth doing Northward Flowers or Tropical **** or when reach Task 7 to have recap to switch over Crops or continue and hope to complete all of Task for the chosen crop (On Basics getting good drops of Secret Messages)

Northward Flower would be more effective using water and Manure compared to Tropical Cork, Also less risk of loss idle time, especially overnight, Also less amount of Event Crops Needed compared to Tropical Cork as i use formula on Basis of Total Event Crop Hours eg
    • 6510 Northward Flowers x 7 Hours = 45,570 (Event Planting Time Hours(EPTS))
    • 9750 Tropical Corks x 5 Hours = 58750 (Event Planting Time Hours(EPTS))
As you can see it is more sense to Aim for Northward Flowers, Which is the one i will choose to start this event ;)

Also it is expected to have better Drop Rate of Secret Messages using Northward Flowers, It is most likely the Drop Rate will be tough even to Task 12

Even if we get lucky with 200% or 100% Harvester or +1 Crop Booster, getting those needed crops it not really an Issue getting Additional Secret Messages to progress these Task Steps will be be a Tall Order (Cross our Toes and Fingers we get a good drop Rate) :p

It's okay c.ciftci - just go with it. The prizes are pretty much the same.

The crux of the problem is DROPS! Sewinglady is at Step 6 - must donate 990 drops to get the cloud row. That farm has just under 500 drops. So now the slog begins...long overnight crops, longish all day crops. Even though that farm got all the crops needed for first half on first day of event, likely will not get far in second half of event due to lack of drops.

Indeed Sewinglady! I have 369 so far ... but maybe I will get the 2,000+ by the end of the event. Who knows? :p

I got lucky and won the +200% Harvest yesterday and am about 1,000 crops away from finishing the 7 hour crop. I will probably be able to do longer crops overnight thanks to that. :music:
Hope you all get lucky with the bonuses and the drops. ;)

The last time this event mechanism was here I managed to get the crops done quickly but chased those drops the entire time. I used lots of crop buffs thinking that I would get them out of the way and then could work on drops, but only managed to get first half of event's drops with 10 hours remaining. With that lesson learned....

I'm not going to aim to complete this one. The Piccolo wonder box would be nice :inlove: but I'm not going all out for it. My goal is the cloud row unless the drops rain from the sky making it so that I can smoothly transition to the 2nd crop. So far...that is not the case on my farm. We are approaching the end of the first day.

Total event drops 2180/6 days is 364 drops per day. I am just under that with 356, but 183 came from that first initial harvest of long crop planted before the event start. As that cannot happen every day (and even if it did, I'm still too short), I don't find this event possible for my farm without a huge investment of SG and the effort is not worth it (IMO). I chose the 7 hour crop and get between 32-42 drops per harvest. I would prefer to use my crop buffs for something different so will just be happy to reach the CR :)

Congratulations to those players who got farmwheel bonuses and have made a big dent in the crops needed. I hope you are successful with your goals :)

I totally agree with you, Pups. I used up all my remaining SG because I got the bonus (too good to just let it go) but I am going into this one with the spirit that it is impossible to get over 2,000 drops from one field. I will plough on (pardon the pun) and try to get the crops and see if I can make up the drops later with longer crops but I have no real conviction that I will make it even to the CR! :p

Just harvested Northward Flower (7 hours) and got 28 drops. I don't think the rate was adjusted from last time. :( Good luck to you all :)

    LEVEL: MEDIUM - Hard...
    not even close to MEDIUM.
I think medium is that at You must use lot of Super-crow to get all theplants.

Hard is not enoungh! Extremely hard is close that level to get DROPS!

Now I have only 348 Drops (EDIT: ups sorry only 293 !!!), at start 148 with Ixora, so 200 with 7 plating rounds with 7 hour crop with Super crow and BigPlots! Big Plots of cource because You NOT get more Drops even using small plots! Same 28-32 is maximum and that isn´t even nearly what we need...

I must do "only" CR and thats it! ZERO POINTS to BigPoint!
