Ugh I still need 710 drops for the cloud row.

So many events suck lately, particularly as it's impossible to play on the mobile.

 

I am not using comfort fields - I am planting habanero with tiki timer, wisdom and healing - so 30% reduction plus water and poo. No SG. Like Puppies-n-Ponies, I'm not using SG to chase drops.

 

Finished growing all the Northward Flowers, I have done the same as you Pups put out Lablab Beans using all same buffs, now need to increase 555 Secret Messages to 1090 of them, As i used 100 for Task 1

I have tried just one Comfort Field using Tiki Timer, Essence of Wisdom and Happiness Serum on Bell Pepper

• 16.48 (Tiki, Essence, Serum)
• 13,26 with added water
• 12.05 with added manure
• 3.39 with added SG

That is huge Difference

I did test on using Lablab Bean too

• 76;00
• 53;11 (Tiki, Essence, Serum)
• 42;33 with added water
• 38;19 with added manure
• 11;30 with added SG

As you can see you can reap three times as many Bell Peppers to Lablab Beans roughly same harvesting time

Now it is a question of which gives better drops overall

Just want to put out i did not use any CR that Boost SG Effectiveness, Also did not use Fruit Cake in gold Buff slot as that slot not available as i am using 100% Stable Booster

 

I was wondering if I get enough drops. Does anyone finish the first part. What is 990 drops.

My Lablab beans that I put in 1x1 plots with Tiki timer, Essence of Wisdom, Happiness Serum, water, and manure that were ready in 9.5 hours gave me 112 drops. I have planted them again for overnight. Without water and manure, they will be ready in 13 hours which is when I will farm next. Perfect for me. I now currently have 757/990 needed for CR. Since it will take tomorrow morning's harvest and another long crop of some sort to reach what is needed for the first half, I should be done with this event by tomorrow night. I will be happy with the CR and then go back to normal farming. I will just pretend the 2nd half doesn't even exist

It is a shame that since most events are on the main lands that the rare event held in Baha has to be such a frustrating and disappointing event. I choose to remove both the frustration and disappointment by not even attempting to worry about what I cannot do. Do what you can, do what you enjoy and no worries.....there is always another event around the corner (Ingrid returns soon)

 

Ignore my advice using Comfort Fields, I did a simple test as cannot get more than one event drop per comfort field I also double check Comfort Field FAQ it no longer says that it doubles the amount of drops it did say that but FAQ has been edited back in 2016

I have send an General Question about this as i feel Comfort Fields needs to be exempt to boost event drops, just stick to the Strategy using Tiki Timer Combo explained above postings.

I have two Cloud Rows that boosts Baha Drops if you have these use them on what gives you the most drops any additional drops helps

I just harvested my Lablab Beans it gave me 111 Secret Messages, I have roughly 4 more harvest of Lablab beans to unlock the Treasure Corks

Spot on Pups, lets be optimistic we will have more enjoyable Events coming our way shortly

 

61 hours to go and I have 519 of the 990 drops to complete the first half. Still have two harvests to go on the Northward Flower. I'm noticing each harvest is getting fewer and fewer drops -- only 51 last harvest, and earlier harvests gave over 100. I think I'll barely finish the first half. Seems the number of drops is more designed for getting them from all fields!

 

CR up and running. Bell peppers gave 45-50 drops every 3 hours. Let's see what happens in the remaining time.

 

I need three more drops for the cloud row...
I have noticed large discrepancies between the drops shown on the pop-up and what I actually get;
e.g. Overnight habanero; pop-up said 48 and I got 92
next harvest; pop-up said 90 and I got 112
next harvest; pop-up said 102 and I got 102 grrr.... I HATE it when the facts mess up a good story!
next harvest; pop-up said 104 and I got 108
next harvest; pop-up said 56 and I got 110
next harvest; pop-up said 49 and I got 74 (forgot my nine howies)
Next harvest; pop-up said 36 and I got 75 ( now doing tropical cork)

 

Congrats to all who have the CR! I also just got the CR up and running, and I have 57 secret message toward the 100 I now need to get the pirates maps to mill the Northward flower seeds. I believe I can get the 6,510 Northward flower crops I need BUT there is no way on this green earth I will get another 990 drops to turn in at the last step to get the Piccolo box! Not unless "they" turn the drop rate up! Ya I know "What AM I THINKING!" lol Good luck everyone!

 

I did LabLab bean overnight on 1x1 with water and manure and Tiki Timer (comfort field with Bell Peppers was a wash). It was approx 11 hours and netted 119 drops. Sticking to that for the remainder of the drops. On 718/990 now. Not going to bother trying the next step.

 

yep, less drops with each harvest of event crop. This time it went down from 51 to 34. Last harvest of event crop in 2 hours with 434 drops to go . . .

I'm not sure what the pop-ups said - these are actual numbers

I am doing the same as Ctindaldavies just do 990 Drops not bother Unlocking 2nd Crop because no time left to grow them 780/990 so far

 

Sewinglady got the CR last night. This farm and PM23 are still collecting drops. What a slog. Sewinglady's farm started the other half - going as far as I can, not pushing it and not worrying about the piccolo box.

 

44 hours to go....945/990 drops for CR. On track for CR today and then on to normal farming. Need to restock for Season and feed crops

 

I guess we won't get enough drops. We will not be able to move on to the second part of the event. what a tough activity.

 

I just gave Bell Peppers another go and I only got 32 drops, vs 119 for Lab-lab beans, so the beans definitely works better for me based on per hour. And wouldn't you know it....I am 1 (ONE) drop short of the CR LOL, so at 6am I will harvest this lot of bell peppers I just put in LOL.
Back to bed... I didnt intend to get up now but something set off my motion detector out front

As someone who forgets to use artisan boosters (except CAC) most of the time I have a question please. Why are you all using Happiness serum? The hover over description says it works on "mainland grains"...

EDIT - CR is up and running. I am going to do the next level only (100 more drops) for the season points, then that's it.
