gift & trade giving

    hi all, is there a way to gift things like trees and stables without adding players as friends?
    sometimes i go to gift players items, add them as a friend but they have too many friends so i cant send them a free gift during g&t
    is there another way around sending players items they want without making them a friend..if i cant add them to my friends list?

    There is no limit in friends only to neighbors.
    A friend is added from the post office.
