I don't think I have noticed anyone mention: as you get the 5 Fir Branches replenished every five hours, put them behind long millings. Keep putting them at the back of the milling queue (to avoid them actually being milled) then, when you are ready to start the next lot of plantings, change the milling to the next one you want (putting it at the front of the milling queue of course!).
Repeat this for the next and subsequent lots of seeds and it will give you a head start for each one.
I'm sure there is a better way to describe this ... it's still a bit early for me and I haven't had my second cuppa yet!

Ukuru, You should have received 10 Fir Branches but you can't use them until you have chosen where you are going to start.

Firstly, you need to go to the map, decide which part you are going to start with (Green - Main, Yellow - Island and Purple - Moonlight), use the key you received at the start of the event to get going. You will then get 9,999 Candles relating to the part you have chosen and then you must MILL the seeds. You can plant these and every 5 hours you will get 5 more Fir Branches which you can use to get more of the same seeds OR put them behind a lot of milling and wait till you are ready to start the next part of the event and you can mill the appropriate seeds.

This is quite a complicated event - even for those of us who have done similar events before! It is worth reading the FAQs and this thread thoroughly to really get to grips with it!

I find the paths to be visually cluttered and hard to tell where I am and what I still need to do I've already made some mistakes with MATH so I'm glad this event runs long enough to rebound.

 

Thanks, *WisdomTree" for giving us the figures. So much to think about and yet another event starting tomorrow - which I was going to skip but, well, (cue for a song) "I'm just a girl (or should that be farmer) who can't say no!".
I feel the same about it, Pups, it took me ages to find where to donate the first crops!
With all this going on, I will bumble my way through and hope for a bit of luck ... if I finish, fine, if I don't no biggy!
