Thanks illy for the strategy and thread. I am in.
Thanks Chocomallo. I too used the code. :)

Started the event right now. About the code in Newsletter. 4 of my farms got it. But this Farm did not.

Did you misspell a letter or a number? Because I typed V instead of W it didn't happen the first time. Then when I tried again the code was successful. ;)

There was Issues starting this Event as we had Bonus Code [BADSTART], Also it helps that this event has been Extended by 1 Whole Day until 29th January ;) in Total we have 9 days to do this Event, it helps all those who cant harvest their farms during the night or busy with Life or Internet Issues
    Good Luck Everyone ;)

As this is Domino Game, We need to try focus on producing Strawberry Cakes as they give us Star Coins the bigger the streak the more Star Coins per Mini Game, I would try swap and get lucky to get Double Strawberry Cake

It seems the blockers are based near middle of mini game, so i suggest strategy place any non strawberry cakes in the center save the strawberry ones for outside join as many as you can per mini game

My Strategy will be swapping out any white or chocolate cakes as any stars are pointless to me i have so many to give away xD

    Happy 12th Birthday Farmerama :D:D:D

Happy Birthday, Farmerama! Congratulations on your 12 years of going strong, and thanks for the enjoyment you gave me the last 11 years, even with some breaks! :inlove::D

Silly question: how do I use the Cake Shovel? I know it removes cake slices but I can't click it.

The cake piece pattern has a green rotating arrow sign.
Click on it to get a new cake pattern. A click costs one Cake Shovel.

Well, I've had a really bad start! Taught a full day of lessons yesterday and missed the announcement of the event, so my fields were not properly prepared. And then, somehow, still not sure how, but I somehow deleted my starter crops. Still waiting for the 5 new ones to show up!
:wuerg:  :( getting impatient now . . .-.-

Have you done the previous "fabric tiles" events? The mechanism works pretty much the same. Find the candle (it has a flame on it) and place your first tile in an open space next to it. Then place a like tile on the other end. Try to group as many like tiles together as you can. When you run out of space or tiles, click the checkmark in the green circle and go onto a new board.

Okay, I've put long-ish crops out overnight - ran out of cupcake liners. Sewinglady's farm is the farthest along. This farm and PM23 got a good ways through this evening. Burned through a lot of green goo and propellers to do it, though.

Thank you! So is it a good strategy to make all the cake tiles first before you play the game so that you can get a whole bunch of cake slices on the board?

I'm so sorry for your misfortune dear @Solatido :( I hope your crops grow fast and they don't upset you ;)

Νοw I get it. Thought the Shovels could remove pieces that had been already placed on the board. o_Opsies. Thanks for the help!!!

My exam period won't let me play the event the way I wanted. A realistic goal for me is to get all the season points to save crops from the Farm House Quests. Nothing more. I'm not getting the piccolo chests, unfortunately... Too little time on my hands...

@Greek-Guy Hope you can get the piccolo box at the end of the farmhouse quests. I would like you to find a surprise BB tree for you from the piccolo box if you reach :inlove: I wish you success in your exams. I'm on vacation right now and I passed my exams. I hope I don't miss too many piccolos when it's exam time again..! ;)

Now this game is as ordinary as our ordinary lives.

Ah yeah, as ordinary as our ordinary lives.

So, everything is the same or similar... Events, event processes .....etc....etc.

And a finished event for 2 piccolos.

Oh, maybe a BB tree, maybe a flower spray art!!!!! :inlove: :) ;) :)

But hope turned into ingrid's student and pogo show.

Anyway next time.... Hope!!!! :)

Keep hoping. :music: :music: :music: :)

Reaching both Piccolo Boxes, 184 (edit: games... hehehe, not after all, a piece of cake!) games had to be played.

At first I got a little too good bonuses for the plants, the drops are zero all the time when it makes the mill games what the drops allow! Plants, well ... there are now over 12,000 of them extra.

Of course, no one should complain, only a small part of the event is gone and my own favorite prizes redeemed and still can focus on getting strawberry cakes made, the record is one game 89 event star coins, I am satisfied with it to the greatest extent!

Good luck, success and nerve control, just for all players!

My farms haven't been that lucky with star coins...one piccolo box each so far.

Lindzeee - if you see my earlier post in this thread, you'll see that I recommend NOT waiting until the bitter end to play the domino games. What I have been doing is waiting until I have enough ingredients to mill 20 or so cake boxes. These boards are bigger so you can (you don't have to) place quite a few tiles. So I would have at least 20 before starting a board.

PS: sewinglady's farm is the farthest along - got the CR last night. Made a big dumb mistake on that farm Saturday night. Reminder to self: don't farm when tired. Used all but 53 tiles in the mill and hadn't planted more crops. That made for an interesting overnight crop.

Also remember that if you run out of tiles, you can come back later and those you have placed will still be there waiting to be added to, even if you log out and back in again.
