Breeding Rune - which critter to choose?

    Hi, everyone, newbie here again looking for advice. Would appreciate suggestions, and reasons why, for which critter to get when unlocking the breeding rune on the Tree of Wisdom. I have 83 stars and am working on the Magic Stalk Miracle/MSM quest. I also have a Confectionary shop (lvl 1). I have not unlocked the bat in the MM.

    For the MSM quest, I need three more critters: Hungry Bat, 3 wild boar, Flaming Steer. Based on info provided, what are recommendations for the best critter to choose when unlocking the breeding rune.

    Once we make a selection, can we go back to the rune and get more critters, or is this a one-time selection?

    If you mean pentagon shaped rune in tree, you go there and open them one by one, when you have enough stars.

    It is hard to say, which would be best to open. The one you need most or which is most unlikely to get from your breeding or what is most expensive one on the market.

    Thank you, yes, that's the rune I'm looking at. Good to know we can eventually open others and not have to choose only one!

    Based on the info you provided, I think the flaming steer would be the best choice for you.

    If you're on a market where flaming steers are relatively inexpensive compared to other the breeding animals, you could choose whichever one is most expensive on your market, sell it, and buy your flaming steer with the proceeds. But be warned, most older farmers get free breeding animals from crates that we earned as rewards from events so there may not be much demand.

    If you make an offer and it doesn't sell in 7 days, it will be returned to your barn but you lose out on the 10% market fee you paid when you made the listing.

    Hi @MeadowCrossing, if you haven't unlocked the magical vine row in co-op missions, I suggest you get the fiery bull. Because it can be a little troublesome to breed or expensive to buy on the market. :)
