Here is advice how to Boost Orange Paper Flower Drops.......Tomorrow we have Happy Workshop Day, All workshops takes 9 hours to harvest without Buffs, if you include all workshop buff boosters, this can be reduced considerably drop rates on most workshops should give you more drops

I am currently have all fields of 12 Hour Trees, Let see if Happy Workshop Day helps

I have Flower Spray Art from Piccolo Box (20% Reduction on all Stables)

 

My side farm (Living Legend rune at 30% and no drop-boosters whatsoever) only got 78 drops from 455 basic 20h trees. Haven't had a chance to test pens on that farm yet (too lazy) but I don't think it would be a good idea to stick with trees there given the low drop rate. I'd try switching to stables in the 18-19.5 hour range (e.g., yellow seals) on all 3 tropical lands so I could harvest them twice a day with a valentine's pot and eggnog.

Older farmers can use even longer pens because we have access to various buffs that shorten time on stables/workshops, like this one:

There are many farms like mine, however, where trees are superior because we have Howies and various tree-related buffs at our disposal. My main farm was mostly covered in trees in the 12-20h range and had all 744 orange paper flowers by the morning of day 2 with minimal effort, for example. Taking a break from producing tigers here because I ran out of feed.

Are workshops with a base time of 9h on Happy Workshop Day any different from regular 9h pens?

 

I think I'll be able to finish. I'm halfway there and have 362 more orange flowers and 679 artist's palettes. I'm waiting on some potatoes to finish up the fourth totem pole. I keep forgetting to check back and harvest. My mind is elsewhere . . . I've had two dogs for about 14 years, a black lab mix named Ebony, and a small huskie mix named Ivory. Yesterday Ebony passed away suddenly. I'm grateful that she was pretty healthy all her life and only had one day at the end where she just didn't seem quite herself. I know she was old, especially for a big dog, but she will be missed.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend and family member, Solatido. I know what it's like to lose a dog you care about; I would have considered it a great blessing to have mine go suddenly (he had cancer, thru which I cared for him until the end). Yes, 14 is considered old for large dogs, and I admit I have never quite understood why beings we come to love so much stay with us for such a short period of time. Our old dog is failing right now too, not suffering or anything just...off...has been since about September. I will be very surprised if he's still with us by the end of the year. Don't know how I know, I just have watched too many of our dogs as they approached the end, I've come to recognize some of the signs I guess. Hugs to you, I hope you can find comfort in

I've only got 6444 event crops, 728 palettes and 486 orange paper flowers, so odds of me finishing are low. That's okay, if I get those precious boxes!

About Baha workshops, Each one has different Production time, All of them except for Pottery Shop takes over 9 Hours to produce. Pottery Shop only takes 8 hours normally (Any workshop under 9 hours are increased to 9 hours during Happy Workshop Day)

The Longer Production time of workshop technically suppose give higher drop rate for example Chopstick Factory takes 30 Hours to Produce, so in effect this is best drop rate workshop in Baha, we can take advantage of happy workshop day this is reduce down to 9 Hours, Higher drop rate ratio stays the same from using workshops perspective

Thanks for Pointing out Fall Festive Magic Stalk Row II-2 (add 25% to reduce workshop productivity plus all other reduce workshop buffs, what good about it 25% reduction last 36 Hours) , I forgot the Howies too include these

I think I worded my question poorly so let me try again.

During Happy Workshop Day (HWD), the production time for all workshops will be changed to 9 hours, regardless of actual production time. So when I look at the chopstick factory in my inventory, for example, it currently says "production time: 30:00 h" but when the mini-event goes live, it will say "production time: 9:00 h".

Would it not be reasonable then, to assume the drop algorithm will calculate the drop rate for the chopstick factory using the new production time of 9h? Because if that's the case, I think a field of chopstick factories will yield the same amount of drops during HWD as a field of standard 9h stables on any other day during this event. Hence my original question.

I see no reason to assume the time reduction from HWD works like most other buffs when I think it's far more likely that it functions more like the time reduction we get from stable/workshop upgrades.

I'd be happy to see some hard data that proves me wrong, if you can provide it.

I finished the event, it was a nice event. I noticed there are 23 piccolom. I planted them with great hope. But the bb tree is still gone. Hopping, multi-tasking, leaf dance. There is too much. Luckily one magic hat. Wondering where am I going wrong sigh.

 

So sorry Solatido. Never easy, expected or otherwise.

I finished the event using a bit of SG and SSG to speed things up so I can return to FSQs. I did get some help with drops from breeding but I think I would have got them anyway - there are 72 hours to go.

I just completed this event with 4 Orange flowers left! I did get 780 coins and bought 2 piccolo boxes, all super grow and suzys super grow and all mulch, and all farm coins, and all party tickets and 2 xxl toolboxes that used all 780! I did not need the trees or pens! Good luck I hope you all reach your goals!

When I relooked at the FAQs, I mistook the skulls for a drop. Big difference! I only have a few harvests left of those skull flowers and already have all the drops I need! I did take advantage of the half price for breeding, so I got a lot of orange flowers from that. Finishing up layer 7 with the next harvest. @sanddollar15 - you sure cut that close, LOL!

100% done, all areas "toucan"´s, in daytime with Power Feed (2h 53min) and Night time normal feed (7h12min) to get Orange Paper flowers. So now it´s EASY to get OPF´s because it is:

Clearly made it easier to get them, so to speak, "loosened screws", initially I got 8-10 per area, 6-8 from Kristal Fals. Now there were 20-25 of them from each area during the day! Anyone now, for example, doing the same animal as myself, I have no doubt you would still get over 150 (even over 300!) drops yourself each!

Believe me, at the end of the events, everything is always easy (of course I speak with 232 levels of experience, for example, not at the "mouth" of those playing with plants and animals at levels 60-100 !!!)

edit: my levels and 1.9 milliard CC´s (that is nothing compare multi miljard-players) it is sheap to buy 100++ toucans or what I need, those animal stalls to get from "normal shop" not from Mystery stalls. I mean I´m not special, just normal, but events ar NOT easy those under 100 level-players (I remember how many months (maybe 4 to 6 months!) it was to get level 97... when You get level 100, it´s very fast then to get 50 more levels, levels 60 to 100 are the most difficult and most needed levels comparing to do Events!). Then when getting level 200... it is very SLOW again, very slow...

 

Isn't it a waste to use power feed on cheap toucans instead of using it for baby boom & discount day & weekend breeding events though?

No matter how you put it now, all the events that have been necessary to try have been done. Witch crates are so appropriately always on their income that bonus aids and more will be enough.

Power feeds are the only commodity in the game that could be more (21 Jumbo trees...) Before that 3 week Weekend event I only have 800 powerfeeds, doing all 3 weeks and then I have 1300 ++ PF ...

Now it's been played for 11 years now, almost from the start, every single day, really every single (when I’m unemployed) so have learned here, like to “giggle” everything appropriately. Rather a nice CHALLENGE when you need to think and think about how to act that will reach your goals.

That is, you are right but but but, here in Finland there is an advertising phrase on the online offer (DNA) saying "life is", it fits well into this situation ... that is, YES and on the other hand there is NO ... so no need and waste.

Sorry if I sounded angry, didn't have any intention to sound like that. I just wanted to point out that much more could have been done with power feed. I played the game in 2012-2013 while i was still a child and just started back 2 weeks ago. The game has changed so much and i have so little resources compared to long time players. So I am just trying to min-max things and learn with asking in forum. Sorry again if I came out offensive.

I respect your experience and agree with you on drops being so rare. This is my second event that includes drops and I could have finished both of them at least 1 day earlier if it was not for the drops.

 

The event has been completed. It was not a pleasant activity, I did it to finish. (The 2 piccolo boxes were a consolation prize.)

thanks for the help in bmcfall_8490 but i still need more orange paper flowers there and in my marlymar farm, flwrsndnc, and lennon_2011 farms ive done everything i can think of to get more drops but to little to late i guess please anyone who can help i would greatly appreciate it im hoping to at least get the 3rd giver

 

Finally.. finally..and finally..! Endless quest, not enough drops.. Finally this event is over. Piccolo boxes received. Cloud worked. Good luck to anyone still trying to finish this quest. I plan to do my last harvest and get 125 star coin. Congratulations to everyone who completed the task
