Does it matter for drops whether I breed in a Baby Boom or not? I understand that it affects returns from breeding!

I feel that this is a mistake. Put out XXL trees which are a 20 hour tree reduced to 12 hours (or 10 hours 48 minutes with the 'Tree Prosperity' Rune)

 

Yes, I was going to say the same, it's a heck of a lot of points to get to reach level 75 and would require well over a hundred games, (910 if you were unlucky enough to throw nothing but duds at every turn)

 

If all your crops are grown and you only need shakers, try planting longer crops. Drop rate is dependent on base time (i.e., duration before any time-reducing buffs are applied) and crops seem to be yielding more shakers than trees.

I wrote about some of the tactics I use to generate drops efficiently here if you're interested. But I have to warn you, it's a lot of info to take in at once and I think most newbies find it too overwhelming, complicated, etc. - I'm not a very good teacher lol. It might not make a lot of sense at the moment but it may be worth revisiting in the future when you have a better handle on the game.

I've never heard of Baby Boom having any effect on drops so I'm guessing no?

In the previous version of Snake Eyes, it took me 139 games to reach 18,250 points, which would cost me 1 free game + 22,080 crops + 1,380 drops today.

I hope sanddollar15 knows that I appreciate her taking the time to give us an idea of what is required for the 3rd Piccolo wonder box and only pointed out the error to help others avoid a potentially costly mistake.

 

I'm up to 40 games and my strategy seems to be working OK for me, keeping pace with crops and drops.
I grow gamer's glory all day and plant out 12hr trees (10hr 48min) overnight with Turbo-mulch to reduce them to 7hrs.
Each night I've reaped 17/18 dice from a field of trees.
This lets me mill nearly all the Cup of Dice using Lucky Dice to keep requirements lower.
I'm pleased with this strategy as I don't have to use any boosters to increase the crops.

 

I got 27 gold dice from a full field of my longest trees with TM yesterday, and overnight, I harvested about half of them and got 19, so I expect to beat that 27 when the rest of the trees ripen shortly. There has been some speculation over the years that using the upgrades for trees and stables does somewhat mitigate the effect of their duration.

 

CR up and running. 10 games for the next piccolo and dreams of a third.

I'm not going past enough star coins for the two purchasable piccolo boxes.

Played off the dice cups I had milled last night. Sewinglady's farm played 56 games - not one yahtzee. NOT ONE. Then I played off 45 games on this farm - 2 yahtzees - and this farm is almost to same right side level as Sewinglady's having played 11 more games! Then I played PM23's 48 games: 3 yahtzess...but wait, don't think it's all good - not one long straight! NOT ONE! So it's hovering right around the same area on the right side as the other two farms.

So there you have it. Another day of growing dice and I think I'll be done with this event...

 

Ouh no what it takes...

60 games - 9740 points - so average 162,33 - to beat 18250 points need 113 games !
and that is "guite much" because missing only:
ToaK with 2´s (easy)
FouroaK by 1´s and 3´s
Flush by 1´s and 3´s
So................................. need only 1´s and 3´s and LOTS of them

and when trying, i think "so many times 40 points"... 2 Piccolos = easy, 3 "miracle"...

Normally these dice events have the lucky dice halve the crop requirements needed to mill the cups. Not this one. I do like that we can get some from trees. A full field of birch and goat willow gave me 35 lucky dice. Thank goodness for the builder because I absolutely cannot swap crops for trees by hand.

I've played 46 games so far and will put out trees tonight to see if I can get more lucky dice. My aunt and twin sister are taking a turn with my sister so I could have the day to rest at home. So, I have thrown all I can at this event while I am home.

My notes say the last time I played the Dice Event it took 200 games to finish. I don't know if I can do it or not but the prizes are worth my effort. Of particular interest are the Wonder boxes, Pink Scorpion and Neon butterfly. The Season points will also help me finish the season as there were some days I was too tired from being at the hospital or at sister's that I just didn't do the farm orders. All the other goodies are nice pick ups along the way

I have just replaces crops with XXL Trees, Using SM and SM Buffs, All Trees takes roughly 5hrs 40mins these are all highest EP Trees i have let see how many Golden dice i get, still need more shakers too
Growing Gamers Glory is not an issue here, it looking like need to boost drops of Shakers

I have not milled any mini games yet just need to find out how many shakers and Golden dice i can get, Try Mill as many Option 2 Milling

Anyone short on Shakers, can use the instant harvest nuking refinement tactic for those needing more Shakers I have put out all the Jumbo Super Mulch Trees as it helps speed up drops of Golden Dice, plus using Gamers Glory and Shakers more effectively

 

53 games with a total of 7360 points. I am having a problem with the drops. I spent 150 BB on 100 shakers just so I don't need to wait for drops. My field layout has three arboretum with XXL maple trees. I get a few lucky dice every harvest. I am using turbo on the trees so they're done faster.

 

30 games got me to 30 points shy of level 21, average of 174 points per game
I got 3 yahtzees, multiple straights and full houses, but also a lot of pairs.
I'm ahead on drops with 3 Howies, but no luck on the wheel for extra crops!

Busy weekend ahead - My niece is having her formal wedding tomorrow (this is the 3rd try due to COVID cancellations). They had a parents/maid of honor/best man only wedding at my brother's house a year ago. I think it will be a beautiful day with a forecast of 76 degrees.

 

Starting in just under thirty hours is half price breeding for twelve hours. I will try to get some lucky dice then... even though it doesn't seem likely to be a baby Boom

 

I have all the crops I need now but not enough drops! I have also put in XXL trees like others have said and hoping for some lucky dice!! We will see in the morning if it works!

 

You guys aren't going for the level 100 reward? I am trying to get to level 100 so I can get the pink animal pen.

 

As far as I'm concerned, this is a fact and not just speculation. My understanding is that when upgrades are applied to trees and stables, the drop algorithms use the shorter duration associated with upgrades to calculate the drop rate. So if you have a 20h base tree and apply a 12h XXL upgrade, the upgraded tree will be treated as a 12h tree for drop purposes.

But even though longer trees are more cost-efficient when using STM, I still think there are some situations where XXL trees make better use of the time and buffs available. With so many factors to consider, the optimal strategy for one farm may look nothing like the optimal strategy for another farm.

I love how working your butt off on your digital farm is your idea of "rest". You event junkie you.

I got 20 lucky dice by doing 160 chicken breeding's!! Also every breeding gives you a shaker. So it's much faster to get your drops by just doing breeding's. I have the one rune that allows me to skip a breed. So it's kind of worth it to me. I chosen chickens cause they're only 1500 CC on my market

 

I just harvested 202 XXL Trees with highest EPs, I used 202 Turbo Mulches on them, Not impress with only 15 Golden Dice from full Field

Now with 88 hours of this event, I keep all my Turbo Mulch Trees out, I am taking Zero Degrees Advice that algorithms using longest timed Trees using TM fingers crossed get even more Golden Dice this time.

Just need to remind everyone that Happy Discount Day will be active tomorrow Sunday, So all Breeding will give a chance of Lucky Dice

Lucky for me i been hoarding Power Feeds have many thousands of them with my FOCD i maybe crazy but it does come in handy when during certain events

There is no baby boom this time hopefully as compensation we get better breeding skips, But need to save fair amount Power Feeds for upcoming Tortoise Breeding...

Playing Cup O Dice, does have huge impact on your progress to level up combination rewards table so feeling lucky does help using our Gamers Glory and Shakers effectively as possible.. Get out any lucky charms like rabbit foot or those Horse lovers of Horse Shoes , wish everyone get Yathzee every time lol Good Luck

Solotime: In FAQ says you have slim chance lucky dice with Every Breeding, but it did not say you get shakers from Breeding , do we get both or is it just Shakers

 

I played 58 games and on right side I am in 8380 points. I have 3000 crops. But no drops. So I might grow overnight crops or trees. Contemplating whether to go for crops or trees as trees give you dice but less of shakers. I am not doing breeding. PFs for dice. No certainly not. May be I will put out trees and use Turbo mulch, if needed.
