Hello my farmer friends

I took a little break from my studies yesterday and was able to take care of my farm. The turtles and bait I had previously bred were in stock. This will help me for this activity. I will do the activity. I couldn't see a happy discount day for this weekend alone. Will they do this before the event ends? If not, PF is not enough..

 

I have no idea how many breedings I did! I also don't know how I managed to finish!
I know that when I finally got the required Pizzas I was still short of about 150 Energy Drinks.

I had 132 mixed breedings in the Loveshack at the start of the event. I managed to cobble together about 350 PFs before I started more breeding today. I bought two PF packs (375 and 65) and I have 53 left. I also 140 Pizzas and 78 Wrist Bands left. Not many BBS left though but that's what I save them for - no good just hanging on to them!
I got no great skips but I thoroughly enjoyed the breeding spree!

 

I have made up my mind not to do this event, Because i am not impress for several reasons

1. On average farmers are getting 200 roughly surplus Veggie Pizzas
2. I am not impress with the rewards to gain from this event
3. My Cloud Rows and Barn stock of Crates mostly of them give rewards from this event
4. I have made good CC selling tortoises anyway
5. Any stars and golden bananas have no use for me
6. All SG/Suzy/TM can be grown with ease
7. Pheromones i have loads in stock, Deluxe Pheromones (Useless not give good skips)
8. Currently using +1 +1 +1 Stable Booster gives me more Tortoises
9. I gain more Power Feeds on Wheel than what it gives for this event
10. I rather have luck with Crate O Buffs/Piccolo Wonder Box Might Mower (+), than get Tortoise Habitat IV: Pink Stable
11. I have good stock of Skateboards plus i have 4 Stakeboard workshops, not worth donating skateboards for this event. They are in demand as we have New Quest for them

If this Breeding Event had Star Coins Event Shop just buy any handy goods useful prizes, for example get star coins for each breeding, as Big Point need to bear in mind many farmers have surplus, stars, golden Bananas etc

The downsides not doing this event is missing out valuable EP to level up and maybe getting good skips of coloured Tortoises

Instead I am trying to snap up dirt cheap coloured tortoises in my market when i can most often there are any to buy because it not very wise to sell breeding tortoises wont get good prices for them

Unless there is last minute offer of Happy Discount Day with three days remaining If not i just going to double up Breeding Tortoises on the next Baby Boom Event in the meantime find those super cheap coloured tortoises

Mooboy I think you made a good decision to pass this event by.
I've burnt up over 1,000 PF which has massively depleted my resources. Once you start, you have to keep going!
Breeding tortoises has given me enough aviators for two more pink pens so I now have a total of 3. Wasn't planning on getting those but they will help with replenishing stock of tortoises!
I have several skateboard pens (4 x level III) so no hurry to get a pink one.
I don't regret doing the event but from now on I'll look more carefully at requirement/rewards and might decide it's not worth it.

 

Question - Is there going to be a boom + one-feed breeding at the same time?

Hungarian Moderator - Although the stars are still silent, but at the moment I see a minimal chance that maybe, perhaps, on the last day of the breeding event, in the rush, such an event will happen. If that happens, there will be news about it.

I did not attend this event. The rewards are not attractive to me. The loss is more than the profit. (for me)

took a break from farming yesterday.

I see we are going to have a discount day on Wednesday...interesting. Of course, my participating farms are all done. I suppose I could fill the breeding shack and just leave them for whatever comes next?

 

Has anyone else noticed that RED tortoise stall upgrades have been appearing on the regular (green ticket) and party wheel? Wondering if this is permanent or just for the duration of this event?

YES!! There is a four hour overlap of both with the 'Born-to-Skate Event'. I am so pleased lucky that I haven't done the event yet.
Updated: The overlap has started! 2.5 hours to go !!

 

I completed the event on Sunday when it was clear there would be no discount day. I thought the discount days were usually on Sunday. Oh well . . . .

Now most of my power feed is gone, so rebuilding my stock before next breeding event!

 

(I thought this trope was only in Turkish.)

When I saw that there was a discount event, I completed the event. I think it turned out to be somewhat profitable.

There will be Breeding Event in April lucky i managed to save some PF thanks to Happy Discount Day

It's a bitter pill to swallow for those of us who did all of our breeding over the weekend but I'm happy for those who opted to wait until the very end.

Lesson learned for future breeding events: when it comes to HDD, anything can happen. Expectations mean nothing!
