Thank you for starting this thread, *WisdomTree* - I will be participating up to a point, definitely doing the left and right sides first and as far as I can get with the main part. Prizes are not exciting enough to put more than a normal effort in and without buffs, the only way to increase output is to ignore hubby (not advisable!) and set alarm during the night (just not going to happen!)!

I go to the Market Place...

Just over 200.000 of those Chestnuts in barn (just lucky!) - price in my market 24.000 each ! Just sold 600 x 4 x 19999 = get 47.997.600 cc - oops... I need to bay 15 Ostrich egss, but those was "cheap" only 150.000 each...

no need to do ALL EVENT, sidebars and "Market-Playing", not this time wake-up in the nights to do some moves in Extra-area

Go as far as you can, do what you can and don't sweat the rest.

PS: for as long as it lasts, regarding "normal" farming: use your specialty diamond buffs and have "theme days" on your farm to increase crop harvests. Looks like I'm going to start with grains (on account of the rye).

 

Good advice, bunny. I need most of the long term crops, but I am also low on certain animals, so I am going with animal stalls for now. Plus, we will be gone all day tomorrow, so animals work for that as well. Not gonna get worried about this one, will do as you suggest and get as much as I can and not worry about the rest. Which seems to be my modus operandi for most events lately. And thank you for starting the thread again, Wisdom Tree.

 

The only reason I am happy for this event is that it will be nice to be able to produce our needs that we can farm normally. Also, what I overlooked was that we only get the drops while harvesting the trees, and since I'm planting crops, I don't have any drops right now, easy for everyone.

 

I messed up too, ç.çiftçi! I put out all my plots and then planted - of course, they went to mostly smaller plots so my first harvest will be a bit lacking!
Thankfully, I only did one lot seeds before I did a head-slap and seeded manually!

 

Just starting in on the morning's farming. Thanks for the reminder - gotta remember to put out the 2x2s and manually seed the first planting.

 

My pleasure (ahem ... I think!) Dumbunny. If you just put out 2x2s, you can use the harvester, just don't fill in the gaps lol!

 

You can also use seeder if you first remove those small fields after harvesting first seeds and put 2x2s first and smaller ones after that. First ones are used first.

 

I have all trees in the Crystal falls, not in the Rainforest

 

I do first rounds as this:

2x2 plots = 5+5
2x2 plots = 10 + 10 AND 1x2 plots = 15 + 15
now all plots are small: 100 times "first needed plant" and rest 58 the other one.
Water Drops... 24... only and I have 6 jumbotrees in Magical Glade and "edge-trees" in Rainforest.

Just get 18 millions from Market Place (little YES), do what I can, think that I needed those waterdrops... but used all of my wondertrees in past event... so no help from Wondertrees...

 

Drat, me too. At least I still had 1/2 the rainforest in trees from the last event we got drops from Baha, but Crystal Falls is what I set up for this one. That's what I get for trying to ready fields in a hurry. Just starting event crops now, as we only just got home; can't wait to eat and go to bed, been a long day.

 

Why small plots? They have no benefit on Event area. They just waste water and manure.

 

I think "sapeli" thinks like me. I think "now I can calculate easier how many of those plants I need at a time".

I meen now I have +35 "of needed" that 1st event plant, end of a field is the other plant, then I plant +35 or +50 that second plant and end of the fields that other (but 1 and 3 donate is the first plant...)

I´m not sure but I think that way...

Yes manure is expencive but "you don´t get Your money to grave" so I pay my manures if I needed (and have allways 500++ manure crates left). I can´t get my 2228 millions in my bank account

BUT YES - that what I think and use same strategy than "sapeli" does.

Tell if not understand me and want to know more (and in finnish)... I write in Finnish then in Private Message "in-game".

EDIT: ouh (bad word!) me and My calculations, now I have only 33 fields to "1st crops" in fields and already have all to secont donate... 33x2 = only 66 and If in big Plots.. plääh then I think 33x5 = 165... so, calcutlations and -100 crops, great... Do Not Same Way "sapeli"!!!

 

I messed up with the drops. Most of the magical glade & Rain forest are with animal pens. But I did good at marketing and earned quite hundreds of CCs in marketing. Chestnuts & timbers helped me. My stock of timber is gone. And I am in need of chestnuts to deposit in the event. I am willing to wait till chestnuts price goes down and then purchase them to finish the event. Till then grow, grow and grow the event crops.

I'm amazed! I started with less than 20 million CCs and now have over 800 million! I did spend some too ... not little amounts either so I probably made one billion on Chestnuts, Ostrich Eggs and Timber. Starting to calm down now so may just leave the last couple to see if they sell and start to recoup (or should that be re-coop?) my stocks!

 

I must have been a premium subscriber farmer for nearly 10 years - only now did I realize the benefits of Auto-tree harvest Drops keep coming even though I'm in bed, sweet!

I had the trees on wrong fields to start too. I set up all the highest xp xxl trees I had, most getting 600+ xp every 12 hours or less. I then have been using suzy turbo mulch each time I go around the fields. I had all the drops needed by mid day Friday. I only use my mulch on events needing tree drops so always have an ample supply.

The crops, I will get as far as I can but am on vacation so not being able to harvest on time and also can't get up during the night to set up and use the computer so am not progressing as well that way..
