unavailable items

maybe the programmers should look to open up certain items that are unobtainable now in the game as they did with the midnight tree?
items like special recipes that where one off prizes that anyone who missed that event/prize or new farmers joining the game can get access to.
prizes from long ago events...im missing the odd one or two to complete old cloud rows that are insignificant ...but incomplete.
any stables, trees, decos, recipes etc that you can not get in the shop or from any fsq's

me personally, i want the pinkie pie recipe. i've achieved level 5 master baker, opened up all recipes bought what i want from the shop, earned what i want from the farmer society quests...but no way to get the pinkie pie recipe.

 

@upa70 I also worked very hard to get to level 5 so I too could make the pinkie pie pie and when I went to the store to buy the recipe
it no longer was for sale anymore. To say I was upset is to put it mildly as I wasted a lot of time and products to get to that point and all for nothing! Like you I posted to find out where I can get the recipe and was told that "MAYBE" it would be in an event...well that was over a year ago and still no chance of that happening. So I no longer waste my time on any artisan offerings!

 

Actually, from time to time, BP does bring back "retro" things. So keep an eye out for those retro sales - often it's unavailable givers, but you never know.

Now, about the pinkiepiepie. None of my farms have the recipe. In spite of that, my farms have plenty PPPs in inventory.

#1 - buy them in the market. Yes, they are expensive. Sell things that you can make or excess inventory of animals, colored animals, trees, etc. to make funds for them.

#2 - they can be obtained in certain crates. Save your crates pertaining to crafts up until you have at least 100 of them. You can check the possible inventory to see if the crate might reward a PPP - if it is a possibility, those are the ones you want to save up. The more crates you can open at one time, the better chance of getting the more rare rewards from that crate. I don't know why this is the case, it just is and this knowledge comes from how I play my farms, not something from BP or even from other players.

Use PPP sparingly in order to "hoard" them. I tend to only use them when I'm using buffs that are rare for my farms to have more than one or two - such as the 200% overall bonus. Also stack items in your slots (use more than one) and then apply the PPP - you get the most bang for your 'buck' that way. When we had MM for a month, I put in CAC, terror bouquets, silver flame incense, valentine vases and a handful of other things - enough that when I applied one PPP, the buffs were good for weeks.

 

already do that, load several of each buff slot so that when i apply the pinkie pie pie it easily covers the duration of the event + some.
my venting was at the fact that in the faq it clearly states on level 5 you can make the pinkie pie pie yet when you reach that level it is not a recipe that you have unlocked as per the faq...and you can not get it from anywhere else.
clearly a case of false advertising maybe i should call a "no win no fee" lawyer to sue BP for false advertising.
or maybe BP could just update the faq to reflect the truth ....proverbial carrot on a stick once again comes to mind with BP

 

My request would be for a way to obtain an extra stable of the Rainbow trout or Komodo Dragon stables. These were obtained from breeding quests for which we were only able to receive one. They have never been offered for purchase or as a reward for any other quests. I know they are available in gift and trade but who would give one up when you only have one? I would like to see them offered as a reward somewhere.
