Hi Nuub ! I started with the moonlight field first.

 

I just found a prize that I somehow missed, the Santa Express (tile no 25, next to big snow person). I had the baubles so no problem. But are there any others that we can bypass/miss in any of the play scenes?

I have another incomplete CR which I am sure takes prizes from the Farm Wheel and I am missing Witchy Mushroom Condo and I am wondering if it is actually a prize in this event?

 

I've completed area #1 of Santa's trails. The paths of the #2 path were opened and I started to complete it. In the snake eyes dice game, I advanced to number 42. I've collected Piccolo boxes and buff crates. The game has ceased to be complicated and is progressing nicely for me

I need some advice in spending the coin from the game. I thought I would use the coins 1st for the Piccolo wonder box, but now I am thinking of using it for the buff crates. Your opinions would be helpful/

 

buff crates are always more beneficial to future farming than piccolo boxes. So I always go for them first. Then the piccolo boxes. Both are 'chance' items, but with the buff crates, the chance that you'll get a harvest bonus of any kind is fairly high (remember to save them up until you have lots to open to get a better variety and thus a better chance at that 200% harvest bonus). With the piccolo boxes, you can get many nice things or a real dud. You never know and putting mulitples out at once is no advantage.

Don't bother with those reindeer pens on the far right. You can get the orange upgrade for a base reindeer pen from the party wheel. And the base reindeer pen is available from the shop for CCs. Neither of those are base pens. They are are 'special' pens from years ago. But neither can be upgraded and each only gives one reindeer. I always opt for an orange or better stable that at least gives two so it's a better use of the food.

Edited to add: PS - the other nice thing about the buffs is that we choose when to use them.

 

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate your time in replying to me. Although I have been playing for a while with a break of several years, I have not learned all the intricacies of the game, so any advice is appreciated. Once I purchase them and they go into my inventory, when I go to open them to see what they are, they won't activate will they? They will just go into the inventory showing what they are, correct?

 

Does anyone remember to harvest the dice every 24 hours, I often forget, I'll write it here in case there are any who forget.

 

Oh lordy - I have FIVE participating farms. I'm always forgetting to poke the renewable dice.

I came here to remind everyone - 3 days until the farm coin shop resets. Don't forget to buy the power feed, super grow and suzie's super grow before the reset!

 

Isn't that a regular item there each time? I am asking as I'm only just back in the game and it has been a while. I'm also asking because I am planning on using my coin to open another parcel of Crystal Falls.

 

It has been a regular item there. Personally I would open the parcel of Crystal Falls. More land to grow things is always a good thing.

Yes, those items are recurring. I reminded everyone because I can forget to do it myself.

If you do not have all of crystal falls open (just wait until you get to those timed quests for the last parcel - so much fun!), you should indeed use any coins you have saved up to open part of it.

But, some of us have opened all the parcels we can open with coins, yet we earn more every month from events and wheel spins. So using some to buy the recurring goodies makes sense. We just have to remember to do it.

 

Has this happened to anyone? I have the festive seesaw and the festive swing but the stalk row 2 won't let me place them. When I click on the spot to place them it takes me back to the event as if I haven't earned them yet but I finished the event and have all items needed for the CRs.

Edit*does this CR have to be purchased first? Is it not a row given with the event?

 

You must buy it with star coins from Festive shop.
