I have just finished the event and have the piccolo box I will put it out when I get some open space to do so! I have put out the Pens and trees we have won and after I harvest them I will go back to normal baha farming! Good luck and you have till Feb 2nd to get it done!

 

Rather good posibilities that my "doings" are enough to do 100% and win a Piccolo:

Second part, 654 / 900 drops, 42 hours left. Under 10 hours time to those Lablab´s Maybe even 3 times and get those missing 246 drops, I hope so! Now going to bed, local time here 03.47 AM...

 

I thought I was bad getting up in the night to harvest event crops. I used to have terrible insomnia and was a real night owl. Not so much now (I think it might be the one good thing that has happened to me in the last few years).

Anyway, I decided this morning that this will be my last harvest of this event. Whatever my farms glean from this harvest, so be it. I'm moving on.

 

Just done this, not so proud my used SG or/and, but done...

 

I finally got a +100% harvest from the Wheel and, hopefully, I have calculated if I do one extra harvest than normal, I might get enough crops, errors notwithstanding!

I have enough SG and just enough SSG to do it and it bugs me not to finish the level - no chance of getting enough drops but c'est la vie. That's the problem with starting an event, it is always a struggle to just leave it. I prefer to make my decision at the start and then I can ignore it!
I am hoping that the next event is not attractive as I would like a rest!

Edit: Forgot to say, I have 390 Life Jackets - do you think I can get 510 before the end of the event! That's the downside to using Comfort Fields!

 

I finished the first part & got the cloud row.

Use the 2 crafting buffs that accelerates for bah vegetables + tiki timer + Buffs for Sgs + SGs. I think you can make it in 2 or 3 rounds.

 

Same here, lot of SG "wasted" and 641/900 drops, thanks for my neigbours (uups, that is more diffucult than finnish word to it = "naapurit") for drops!

 

I finished the crops with an extra harvest but no way could I get 400+ drops - and wasn't going to waste BBs to get a Piccolo Box that just gives me yet another EP giver!
And on to the next event!

 

Last time we had one of these two-part events, I remember telling myself to start with the 8-hour crop. Just maybe it would be easier to get drops that way?! But of course, I forgot and started with the 4-hour crop, thinking it fit into my schedule better. And I struggled with getting enough drops to finish the first half. So, I am reminding myself to try starting with the longer crop next time, once again!

 

This time around, even the 8 hour crop left my farms struggling for drops - and that's with 6 howies on the field! Some of these events are designed in such a way that if you want the big rewards, you gotta spend some real money. So the choices were: #1 - use some SG (if you had it to spare) and put in a long crop and pray you get enough drops from it to get the CR; OR #2 - Spend BBs to buy the drops you need to get the CR; OR #3 - buy a basket to get the extra drops you need for the CR; OR #4 - any combination of the previous 3 choices.

Or the 5th choice - go as far as you can, be happy with what you glean and leave it at that. I'm not really good at that. I'm trying, though.
