Yes, they were my first prize! Didn't realise the Wonder Stable isn't even available yet!

I forgot to do the most important thing, choose which prizes I wanted first!

 

Where do we get silk flowers? I searched the orange basket and also the Forum, but haven't found the tree/crop. None for sale in my market. Thanks.

 

The silk flowers com from the silk tree (mainland). Do not mix it with the persian silk tree (also mainland).

 

I have completed the event! I have the CR up and running. Thanks to everyone for your posts and comments, I was able to get the prizes I wanted! I have put the 4 Parkin pens out, the first 3, I have got No Hyena so far, I have 1 more to harvest. Fingers crossed it comes to my farm!
Edit: No hyena for me!maybe nexttime!

 

Decided to put out my wonder trees and stables from the event out : no Parkin were to be found in my inventory, the 4 turned into Fruit cake wonder stables!

 

All done on all 3 participating farms. CRs up and running. That's odd, Nordais, I have 4 parkin WS sitting in my inventory in Bahamarama...haven't plunked 'em down yet. Sewinglady's farm had 4 as well - plus bought more over the weekend - that farm is knee deep in hyena stables. Will share once they are available during G&T. Let me see about PM23...yup, 4 parkin WS sitting in that farm's inventory, too.

 

I don't know why I am going to come up short by 2 crops for the cloud row. I haven't missed a harvest (that I know of) ...

Frustrating to come close and nothing can be done. No CAC, no SG to hurry it up, no SSG to nuke a plot or 2. Nothing.

I also had Parkin Wonder Stables on all three farms. Are you sure you checked the Baha inventory for your Parkins?

Oh Pups, but you do have five hours left on the event ... maybe you can still do it!

 

Thank you Illy for pointing me in the right direction, I was looking in the mainland inventory... I swaer from now on to take 2 cups of coffee before posting!

 

The 2 crops short is counting the final harvest that will happen just an hour and half before the end of the event. No time to grow anymore

I think this means I need to just farm for now and not worry about events as I don't have the mental endurance to do them correctly and the frustration at failing is hard.

You don't have to miss all events, just be choosy.

I don't know how you could have missed this one by two crops if you were doing four harvests a day. I was doing three when I realised that I might not make it if I didn't up the harvests, but I only did four days with the extra harvest.

 

Upon further reflection, I think I may have had some days of only 3 harvests and the last couple or 3? days were 4 harvests. That must be what happened. I had some late starts due to not feeling well and only used water as adding manure would not save me enough time to get in another harvest. I think there were also some short farming days too as I just didn't feel well. Got confused I guess. For some reason I thought I was on track until I realized too late that I wasn't. Just silly mistakes all along the way I guess.

Still the flowers, especially the blue one, were pretty and enjoyable to grow. Scooped up some nice goodies along the way. No drops, no milling, overall a nicely designed event given all the restrictions that go with that field.

Normally when real life impacts an event, we have other resources to catch up. Anyway, thank you for understanding my frustration with myself....that goes a long way to soothing ruffled feathers
