Unknown nick

I have received gifts from an unknown nick.
I can't send a return gift. The game does not recognize.
Have any of my neighbors got a nick hiccup?

Could you please check what this is about?

If you go and take a look at your daily gift list, you should see the nick of that person that sent you that gift. If a person is not part of your list, you need to add them first by sending them an ingame message and through the sent message window tick that box on the left side of the message you sent that person and select the add friend option. You'll be able to gift them after that.

 

I know the mechanics, but I don't know the player. So I'm not interested in adding an unknown.

Sent several neighbor gifts, so there may be neighbors whose nick has been corrupted by the server.

That's the only reason I'm interested.

The gift was sent from a player that is not in your Neighbour list. They would have added you to their Friends list to send it.
