Sorry to hear that you can't sow them right away. Yes, you're right, this is weird. Good luck on your quest to reach level in the least. ;)

Weather bonus: Rainy - reduced growth time...

What is supposed to happen when you take it? I took it in the morning and nothing changed-.-.
Do we have to wait for rain or what?

Weather system is not yet released in the game. We don't exactly know yet how it operates, but all of you will be notified and given more details at a later point. When? That I do not know yet. We all need to have little patience with this.

Opening the garden works fine the first time you click into it. If you then go to the tree section and then attempt to go back to the garden section, the game hangs at 100% and the garden does not open. At this point you must close the client window and restart the farm and F5 does not work in Edelweiss Valley.

Also there are issues where newly made badges, crops and trees don't show in the inventory and cannot be used or planted. You must exit the area and go back in to use the badges, or plant the crops.

I cannot fill in orders from clients nowadays: all the new EV crops opened because of my level make it impossible, also the amount of requested drop items was multiplied by 6 while drop rates have plummeted! I still do not have enough mushroom baskets and floral wreaths to fill 1 order and I've been harvesting since day 1!

I urge other players to concentrate on the alpenrose and use the crop badges to upgrade inventory, open space for sowing, upgrade the alpenrose path and NOT to open new crops: I opened the Alpine Edelweiss, harvested some and they cannot be used to craft crop badges, I have to keep them in inventory or else recycle/trash them (it's a up to 9h crop!)... We need 782 alpenroses to craft 1 crop badge and the free space in inventory for alpine flowers is only 900!

Edit: forgot to mentioned that the quick sowing (the one with the lightning bolt) doesn't work anymore in EV which makes a lot more clicking to do.

Im also stuck with the game. Since alpine edelweiss cannot be used to make badges and I already grew edelweiss, now there is no more room for alpine roses in my warehouse, so I can't do anything, to get badges done. I can't deliver orders because I don't have enough floral wreaths and musroom baskets >:(

If you have the stars and you're not using them for anything else, you should open Edelweiss Valley. The perks for tree fruit productions you get from level 5 and 10 (or is it 8, cannot remember) are worth it. You'll need lots of inventory both from the main farm and baha to procede tho by converting them into basic EV planks, humus, tools, green fuel: crops, trees & tree fruits, animal & stalls, products & manufactories are needed to create EV trees and crops. Gaining Alpine Experience Points (AEP) is done by filling orders from clients (just like in the season's event) or recycling EV inventory for AEP. The major difficulty is that the free space we have in inventory for each category of items is quite limited. It's something you'll need to adapt to.

Good luck to you in your new EV adventure!

Anyone knows why we're getting so much kindlings from trees now? Do we need to keep it to craft newer stuff?

Maybe they are needed for plants, to protect from rain.

Yes, that makes sense, thank you Babari... maybe I should slow down on producing green fuel and keep the kindlings.... ugh...

It's very frustrating, especially with the limited storage space, that we can't harvest individual items in the converter. There is only one master harvesting button and we can't choose to harvest one type of item (for example Quality humus instead of basic humus) but instead it just harvests randomly based on how much storage space is available. Same things with seeds and trees.

BP wasn't kinding when they said they'd review exchange values in the converter: Besides the Candle Grave Cactus, all tree fruits and products from Moonlight Mania have lost value by a factor of 6 to 10!:wuerg:>:(

I "cannot" way to see how well were treaded MM animals.... not!

And now the FSQ characters of EV are asking us to complete clients' orders but the trees nor seeds will drop the mushroom baskets and floral wreaths that are required by the dozen!

BP dangled the Sunflower Hill in our face and have mounted that carrot on an extandable pole that was mounted on a rocket aiming for Jupiter!

Miscellaneous items like Amber and Flowering Branches should be able to be exchanged in the converter for the recycling if nothing else. Right now I just have to throw these items out when I run out of space. It would also be nice if we could trade in some of the consumable goods.

The game is completely unbalanced now for tree trunks. Since high amounts of lumber are required to build trees in the first place, and also lumber is required to create all seeds, it's really impossible to keep EV production going.

You need to either increase the value of the tree trunks, reduce the cost of conversion for decent amounts of lumber, increase the output or reduce the number of lumber needed to build trees and crops.

Do any of you devs who are "balancing" all of this actually PLAY the game???

Lauralei is right: cannot keep up with lumber conversion.
The exchange value of 29160 for 6 quality and 18 common lumbers is quite high. The alpinerose should be the equivalent of the Apricot tree and only requiring humus and tool kits. I would like to know the official reason as to why we're getting so much kindlings! This will be required for some converting and/or crafting at some point, but for what??!!!!!!

The requests from both Alice Gamsbart and Ian Gray are blocking me. BP may have changed the lv 7 request of Alice to increase storage capacity to anything, but for that we need to level up and it's almost impossible now. Tree fruits requests from the clients have gone up in number, still hard to get the drops to fill those orders. I'm stuck on Ian's Lv 3 request of filling Phil P. Tawney order because it's been the same for the past week and I still don't have the 10 mushroom basckets for it! I count myself lucky because once I reach level 20 I'll have something to upgrade, but for the players in about level 14-15-16 there's no storage upgrade available...

The fact that our level is taken into account for orders is penalizing us because we didn't have time to got through the different badge crafting & uprading, area and seed opening at a time of our choosing. I've been rewarded blue grass seeds from clients' orders when it's not even opened yet! Now they sit there in my seed inventory blocking space... I still don't fully understand how the weather bonuses are affecting neighbouring seeds, the one thing I'm sure of now is that the +1 crop from boletus is applied to rows above and bellow, not sideways! And to really take advantage of this, it's better for the seeds beds to touch 2 different boletus beds to raise the 7 crops.

You should have both Alice and Ian in level 7 before you upgrade any storage, they both accept same upgrade, I did that today. I understood that Phil P. Tawney has four tasks at same time, so you do not need to fill every section, at least I think so, I do not recall finishing all tasks several times. I always do those ones I can to get more AEP. Longer crops give mushroom baskets easier than shorter crops.

Players level 14-15-16 may have many things to upgrade, I upgraded my green fuel rather late when I had nowhere else to use all badges I made from fruits I had no else use.

It is difficult to balance between everything. I opened more land for trees and now I am running out toolkits and hummus while doing seeds and Alpine apricots, while I cannot make enough lumber for better trees.

I do not like the change of values. I use kindlings to make fuel. I have a lot of coloured stables, but their value is a little bit too short to fill full order.

As Laurelei and Nordais have highlighted, there's now a severe lack of tree trunks to make lumber. I have 23 tree slots growing all varieties of trees, the longer ones speeded up to harvest three times a day. Even so there are never enough tree trunks to meet the unrealistic amounts needed to produce crops and trees.

I can't see any way to increase the supply of tree trunks and have pretty much abandoned growing crops. There's no incentive to hire the assistants on EV or try to fill orders or advance levels.

This urgently needs to be rebalanced by either doubling/trebling the yield of tree trunks or reducing the high requirements for making lumber.

I do not like the drop bar of Edelweiss Valley. It shows also old drops when I get new ones, so it is very confusing.

Sorry to hear you're strugling with the tree trunks, it can be overcomed if you're a little lucky. I wasn't a fan of just doing partial deliveries to clients' orders, but now I do it all the time just because there's some free trees and seeds that you can get! I was offered all kinds of trees and even all 4 seeds. I was also lucky enough to get the +50 lumbers on the tree trunks converter. This lead me to build up my tree inventory and now I keep 4 of each lower trees, 3 American Beech, 2 European Pine and 2 Copper (my field has 3 Alpen Apricots, 2 Ansu, 2 Tart Cherry, 2 Summer Cherry, 2 Pine, 2 European Pine, 3 American Beech and 2 Copper Beech). I keep that going all the time and I never speed up trees!

I've opened the second land section in the Alpen seeds and I keep line 2 & 4 filled with Boletus that I do not harvest on bit to take advantage of the +1 crop for rows above & bellow. I just dump 8 Alpenrose and harvest that on rows 1-3-5. With the storms, I can even reduce that to only 6 Alpenroses by taking advantage of the +1 bed. Now it's just a question of harvesting Alpenroses to craft all those badges and open up the runes in the seeds' inventory. I did harvest a full field of blue grass and orchid to be able to fill clients' orders, but I keep that to a minimum to leave space for the 731 Alpenroses needed to craft badges (after all its runes are opened).

Good luck and just hang in there, you'll get passed this I'm sure of it! :)
