I only mill the badges that I'll need for the next level and keep those ready. I don't even want to "loose" time by crafting badges because EV is a clicking nightmare, I just dump EV tree fruits in the AEP recycling screen directly. The donkey & friend asks for tasks at level 26/27, I' ll probably reach that next year at the pace I'm going! Even the Sunflower Hill is not attracting enough to motivate me to continue with EV.

yeah i recycle badges and fruits/plants too but the recycling bins are usually full whenever I need to dump stuff :)

this feature of the game is like an exercise in frustration tolerance.

At least it is perfectly chill to let EV go unharvested whenever I don't feel like it because probably there's no room anyway and no orders to fulfil, and if you harvest it takes too long to mill the ingredients for new plants or trees, and nobody cares anyway because it does not give you any rewards. I thought I wanted the Sunflower hill but maybe not enough.

It's become a big "meh" for me as well. I don't even harvest it on this farm or PM23's. Only SL's farm still harvests at least once a day. And now that SL's farm is to level 29, the amount of EVEP needed to get to the next level is astronomical considering how few ways there actually are to get the EVEP. And I'm always struggling with near capacity storage for EVERYTHING! I'm dumping keys every day just to have room for the stupid ambers that I never have enough of.

hello again. Next issu... The goat- lady that gives assimens, she said that I should unlook alpine apricot tree 5. Does that mean that I have to open all 5 apricot circles under path of wisdome?

I think you must open all those circles, make them dark red.

I tried to share a picture, but I seem to be too stupid. The Apricot upgrade tree branches off, and you go for the right "branch" and the first circle that has a title Ansu Apricot tree, and text " Unlocks a new blueprint".

After that, when you go to make one, you click on the tiny tiny tiny arrow under the Apricot tree and choose your Ansu Apricot.

Sorry about my picture skill, but hope you still find it.

I have recently opened edelweiss valley and would like to know what crops, trees, animals, pen/workshops and products everyone donates for crafting items.

What the Wheel of Fortune brings to the warehouse in excess, that's what Valley gets. This is the case when even the train doesn't have time to take everything.

Coloured stalls and workshops (sorted by amount) and kindling. Nowadays I am too lazy to look for XL trees, I seldom make biofuel
Eggs, fishes and chicken (sorted by amount), moonlight crops and cress (sorted by value).
    Moonlight fruits (sorted by value)

Like the others, I give the excess from the Wheel of Fortune spins. But I don't mix up the sorts, I just go for sorting by amount and select the top one as long as I am not saving that product for a FSQ.

The other bit of advice I would share is that I plant that first Alpine Apricot tree in three waves. You need all that wood to start creating other plant and tree starts. For example, I put out 3 Alpine Apricot trees. Then when I harvest them the first cycle, I add 3 more trees. When these 6 harvest, I put out 3 additional trees, or as many as I have room to accommodate. That way, I am always harvesting wood and getting the fruit to create the badge to improve the farm. As I moved on to growing the farm, I go through periods of not enough wood, so I will do this same cycle with 4 each time in order to build up the wood supplies.

Enjoy the new location. BTW, remember that getting to level 25 will open a portion of the Sunflower Hill. Yeah, more room for trees, animals and givers! Happy farming.

Okay, I asked in general issues and got a completely non-sensical answer.

Has anyone heard anything about insta-tree and sync-a-crop?

Sewinglady's farm is running out of insta-tree. At this point, can't grow trees fast enough to keep up with the demand for the wood from chopping down fully grown trees to make boards to make more trees and flowers. I've burned through most of my stored up insta-trees.

Why did I ever even open that ski lift up?

I read that thread. My first suggestion would also be to check inventory of Consumable Goods. Sprout-A-Crop fills most of my storage (about 80% of total space) and I try to use it to make room for other things. Earlier Sprout-A-Tree caused similar problems, but nowadays I am short of it. I have never tried to buy insta-tree. when I do not have enough space there, so I am not sure, how game behaves. But you cannot claim rewards in Edelweiss Valley, if you do not have enough space in inventory.

Every time after new things/capacity increase it takes time to find new balance to get all things working. Right now I have problems with Misc, what to delete to make room for more vital drops. I make a lot of Alpine Apricots while they do not require any lumber. I save my insta-tree to moments, when I need something for customers quickly - I am short of some fruit or drops and time is running out. Usually there is something I really want, like a good tree or sweet swap.

I hope you find solution for your problem.

So right now, sewinglady's farm is at level 35, nearing 36. In the consumable goods area of the barn, that farm has 3730/5000 items. So over 1270 empty slots.

This farm is nearing level 17. It does not have as much storage in the barn as I've played EV a bit differently (trying to learn from mistakes that were made on SL's farm). So I've had to dump things like sprout a tree and sprout a crop as this farm doesn't use as much of those things.

But, SL's farm does - currently only around 300 of each in storage. The item taking up a lot of space is the rockets (time shorteners) as I have over 1000 - but I also use them liberally, so there is that.

In the lower left hand corner when you're in either the tree side or the flower side is a little red shopping basket. If you click on it, we used to be able to buy little "packets" of insta-tree and insta-crop there for a few BBs. Not any longer.

I still get the daily gifts - rarely are they insta-trees and/or insta-crops.

And, occasionally, one of the customers does give an insta-tree or insta-crop as a gift when filling an order, but not very often, and usually just one.

I see that there are gifts in the current season if you're a season-pass holder that award both a few insta-trees and a few insta-crops. So the items are still in the game. They just cannot be purchased with BBs.

It looks like there is generally a sale announced in the mini-events thread where insta-trees are on sale about once a month. So I'll have to start paying very close attention to that and buying the maximum available for sale (usually two packets, one you purchase with BBs and the other with money). I'm not getting results for "insta-crop" when I search the threads here, so apparently, that one goes on sale even less often.

The moral of this story is that we all play this game differently, and I'm going to have to change my strategy on sewinglady's farm regarding EV - playing it less often is probably the best bet. Letting part of the fields on both tree side and flower side lie fallow is another option.

And, paarnya11, it's true - when you're in the lower levels, you sometimes have to dump stuff - between neighbor gifts, in-game gifts and such, and a low barn storage level, you cannot use the sprout-a-tree and sprout-a-crop fast enough. Now that I'm higher and using a ton of it every day, I wish I had it back...

I would not call it problem of just lower level ;), I'm at level 41. My problem is Misc and how many keys and hand pruners and fruit pickers to throw away to make room for amber... Those days are over, when I threw away amber to make room for those xD I wonder when there will be a day, when I throw away garden trovels...

Strategies are different. Mine is visiting EV often to harvest Alpine Apricots and make some lumber. Right now I do not automatically give sprout-a-tree to 8h or longer trees, while I run out of it couple of days ago and now I must think, where to use it.

My shopping basket looks normal. My problem is now, that Unity crashes often in Edelweiss Valley if I have long session of farming.

Oh, sewinglady's farm has been juggling the miscellaneous stuff for a while now. I keep the items needed to make trees and flowers to 30 or less. Dump excess floral wreaths and mushroom baskets (anything above 60 or so), and try to use the keys to keep them down, too. Ugh. There is much juggling to be done in EV with the limits on the barn.

So you're growing alpine apricots for lumber because making them doesn't require any? Interesting idea. I do grow a large number of them, but also try to keep out 2 of everything else. Obviously, that strategy isn't working as I'm running out of lumber.

PS: by "normal", do you mean you can buy insta-tree and insta-crop from your shopping basket?
