I am curious and seeking valuable feedback and opinions. Is Edelweiss Valley worth opening? Long time players that know me, are aware that I am not a daily player all year long. Sometimes I am gone for many months - sometimes I play daily for a few months. What is your honest feedback regarding your 'Edelweiss Valley' experience and has it met your expectations....?

Appreciate you for your willingness to share ;):D

Only my oldest farm has opened it. I stuck with it there until today I finally got to level 25 which opens the Sunflower Hill. I will probably still work EV on that farm but I won't push it. I find it frustrating and don't plan to open it on my other farms.

I've got plenty of other things to do.

I opened it but only as a sideline to the main farm. I go in once a day, do what little I can - I have gradually worked up to a massive level 22 (I opened a short while after it was added) - only one more and I can open a bit more field. I don't find it that exciting but I don't expend much energy on it so no big deal. :p
I feel that it is a long term project and may or may not pay off in the long run. :music:

I would say it is worth opening, but it is often very frustrating with all the limitations. Right now I am waiting one thing to finish to get another thing collected so I can empty storage to that production and have room for the first one in my storage so I can produce third one. I just do not want to throw something to trash bin and waste it to get enough storage right now. Limited storage is always a problem there and it is hard to find good balance between all moving parts.
Why I do it? I do it to get benefits to my farm. I do it to get permanent home to my jumbo trees on Sunflower Hill. I already have some of them there, but I'll need more space to have them all there. So it opens more mainland space.

    Another reason to open it:
    The Ice Stag

    From level: 100
    Size: 1x2
    500 T/EP x level
+100% more fruits from harvesting trees on all playfields for 20 hours
    Timer: 40 hours
Reward for reaching Edelweiss Valley level 5
Cloud rows the valley gives are not bad.

It's worth it if you are stuck with lots of stars. The Edelwiess Valley has a totally different play style: you'll need to learn to deal with tight inventory space. Lack of lumber will be the most irritating. The first few levels are not that hard to get by and like @-Päärynä11 said, there.s the 100% more tree fruits for all fields + at level 10 there's also a cloud row that helps too. It's a place where we can recycle yellow milk/shearing shed upgrades, XL tree upgrades, but it will also require tree fruits, animals and even products at times for you to recycle to get the crafting materials to get the EV trees & crops going.

The major purk is the Sunflower Hill reaching level 25 that lets you get more space to move your menageries/arboretums/manufactories to liberate space on your 3 main fields for more crops! But getting there takes a llllllooooooonnnnnngggggg time unless you're willing to throw lots of real $$$$ into EV.

The mechanics are a bit hard to understand at first, but it gets introduced into a routine after a time. You can play it aggressively or just as a second tought, there's no bad way to approch this. After all, it's meant to be a bonus for long standing players.

Before opening EV, I kept 3XXL of each tree for food production + 1 XXL/base tree of the others. The boost I got from EV meant that I was able to cut down the space used up by my trees by 1/3. Combined with the Sunflower Hill this means that I now keep the main farm + green meadow free of stalls/trees at all time. It also means a bit more free space in baha as well which is a huge deal for me!

Don't stress yourself over it too much. How much ever you stress, you can go only at a certain pace. But if possible open it and harvest and plant whenever you can. Certain cloud rows ann giver items at the intial levels are worth getting. I try playing it during weekends. Got the cloudrows and giver items whose name I forgot. Still not opened Sunflower Hill. I am just at level 15 and long way to go. Levelling up is a Himalayan task for me. So I am not straining too much on it.

Great advice 12ss12!! I will ponder a little longer on whether or not I jump into 'more' work xD
