I didn't put out my EP givers - haven't got the necessary pens out so they would have been wasted!

 

Can a mod please change the faq
Just deleting a small piece would be perfect

 

I am no expert, but perhaps your request is best placed in the General Issues Thread. I'm fairly certain it's either there or the Technical Issues Thread.

I have deleted the copy/paste error. In future if there is a mistake/ wrong information in a FAQ, please post in the General Issues thread where the post will be seen earlier and we will be able to amend the mistake sooner.

Yesterday fully I was out of station, so resuming the play today. Read the comments abou Yaga Baba. Yes, Yaga Baba is from Slavic Floklore. But in India, we have only Babas. So I gave a variation of it. Don't go too techincal into it. It was just for fun.

Milling feed for MM Field Animals is very taxing. I am always out of it.

 

Thank you for sharing about your Babas - I truly enjoy to learn about other cultures. Your Babas certainly look much kinder and more gentle! You are right, I tend to 'over-think' things as my friends and family constantly remind me! I'd totally forgotten about Baba Yaga - it's many years ago and my memory is very vague of an image from some childhood book. That of course sent me down the proverbial rabbit hole to try and find some clarity to those wispy images!

 

I too tend to overthink, MeadowCrossing. Many a times, it becomes a burden. So now I have reached a point where I say let it come I will deal it. I will not worry earlier. I think life makes us cautious and therefore we do lot of thinking.

Actually, you should be wary of Indian Babas as they are human being who style themselves to posses some mystical powers like bringing something out of thin air, floating on water or in air. Many people fall prey to them.

I still haven't put out the baba pen nor the EP Giver which Illy has pointed out. I think its time to do it. Off to farm to place them.

 

One-Two: The EP givers also give extra critters (Darklight Fireflies, Cat Fairies and MM Products) so make sure you have some of them out to take full advantage of the EP givers.

 

Thank you, illy ! I noticed the + signs. I have not put the relevant stalls out. So no harveting of the EP Givers yet. I find there are 3 more Ep Givers - Graveyard Walk, Monstrous Jam Session and Game shake up. I do not find any cloud row for them. So put them out in Baha. I want to reach level 800 fast.

 

LOL, One-Two, I have no idea where they came from. I just checked the FAQs for this event, the other one running at the moment and the weekend quests. But we have so many events, I can't keep track of them all.

Funny thing, during G&T, I noticed people asking for Gigantica Terantula and Brrooom, Brroom (pardon the spellings) and I don't have them anywhere but they are prizes for the next weekend quest. How come they are already available to trade? Or did I dream it?

 

They are all from Games from the Crypt II and not needed for the cloudrow

I am actually wondering how come Baba Yaga became a "critter" in the game... She is a very human witch; with her likes and dislikes, with the mix of evil and good, depending on which side of her the main character gets. She can steal and eat children, kill adults that roam to her territory, or help a good hero if the hero treats her politely and respectfully and wins her disposition.

If it were up to me I'd rather make her hut a game critter - it follows the commands (i.e. turn your back to the woods, and your front to me), and walks on chicken feet.

If you go to to youtube and search for "Flying boat (part 2)" (it was a third match in my search, posted by anzina1977) you can see Baba Yagas dancing and singing in an old Soviet cartoon with some subtitles in English at 2:58. The subtitles are not very good (do not reflect the nuances of language and word play), but it is the only one I could find with subtitles. This cartoon has been one of the most loved for the generation of 80-es kids back there and then.

I watched it, strikoroba ! Thank you for suggesting it. I especiaaly like the baba yagas song - "The most nasty person out of humans is a skillful story teller. He is a skillful liar ! It's a pity he isn't delicious."

It's continuous rains here in Chennai till 17th. So we will more of be floating in flood water than flying. Monsoon has started.
