"Winter Wonderland" Weekend Events

G&T? and MM? And they were going to do Renzo's Fair, but moved it to February. Whew.

I actually think they are now doing G&T too often. But what do I know?

So there's another baby boom tomorrow. Lasts longer than 2 hours. To quote one of the all-time greats (Bugs Bunny): "maroons".

I was NOT a maroon. I stayed in bed. No alarm. No getting up to fool with farms and breeding at 2 a.m. That would have been a big mistake as I would have in my half-asleep stupor done something incredibly stupid.

I'm off to do this morning's harvest. I prepped dumbunny's farm, too, last night, so we'll see what the yield is on that farm and proceed accordingly.

FYI: The FAQ for this event has been amended There is no drops of Knitted Gloves from anything planted in The Magical Glade, I harvested my Glade of long timed trees no drops at All

Drops from Crops or Trees from Green Meadow and Main Field Only so far only 124 Knitted Gloves

Still 50 hours to go so no rush or stress really get the remaining drops of Knitted Gloves

No mention of Happy Discount day as I suspected , I leave Green Meadow to grow crops for Fireside Stories , use Main Field to nuke crops

 

I have finished this event with crops and trees round the outside of the Main and Meadow fields but I did speed things up with refined Carnations - nuked three or four fields and an overnight of normal speed Carnations gave me the final few I needed. I know I could have taken it more slowly but I was impatient to get one event finished!
Next week will be crops so we shall see, it all depends which events are on at the same time as to what strategy (if any!) I use!

 

Crops are going to be an issue for me next weekend with the final craft show falling on Saturday. Will see what I can do.

This farm and SL's have completed this week's quest. Now I'm on to dumbunny's.

 

Yay, finished the event this evening. Took several harvests throughout the day and moving my Howies from field to field, but wanted to finish today and not have to worry about it tomorrow. Cute story line. This year's holiday themes are really a treat (I especially like the design of the Winter Calendar)

PS Thanks again to Mooboy for posting about the updated FAQ and the Glade not giving drops! And thanks to all neighbors who sent me mittens - much appreciated!

 

Finished this event without stress, No Power Feeds needed nor I need to Nuke any crops as I always have backup strategy if drops has been poor but not this time

There was mistake in FAQ, so do not expect get any drops from The Glade in Third part

 

hi where do you find the loris pet

 

I believe the Loris pet you mention is a Baha critter: Loris Habitat. It's a Wonder stable (Marzipan Baha Wonder Stable); maybe was offered as Season or event reward.

 

I just completed Quest 2 and turned in 7,300 of the Gingerbread Briar crop grown on Green Meadow Only. Good luck everyone!

Uh oh. I completely missed the 3rd advent goody package. I think I was crazy busy and just spaced the whole thing.

 

It was just 1 Crate O'Buff, so you didn't miss much.

I have just planted both fields with Amaranth which will be ready tomorrow when I start farming and I hope they will give good Drops to start the weekend off. Good luck everyone.

 

@farmerumf Thanks for the reminder! We need to get 595 Hot Cocoa drops from both Mainland and Green Meadow crops and trees. Event starts on Fri 12-20@10:00 and ends Sun 12-22@22:00 Good luck and Happy Holidays to all I also believe we can get 2 drops from each breeding!

 

Winter Wonderland Cloud Row Accomplished , I have added three festive givers to cloud row

I have too many givers in my barn anyway most of them collecting dust just brush off place them into cloud row
