This is the Christmas event that will be running for 21 days:

Starts: Thursday, 19th of December at 16:00 CET (UTC+1)
Ends: Wednesday, 8th of January at 23:59 CET (UTC+1)

There's 1 main event mixed in with 2 different mini-games and 1 optional donation event.

Waiting for Santa (Main event - decorating the Christmas tree):

Holly Time: 8 hours Gives (2x2): 320 EP Plantable on the Main field only!

Ugly Winter Sweater You will get these drops when harvesting your main field and green meadow from crops and trees only.

Flameless Candle These can be obtained by playing the 2 mini-games

Numbers for the main event:

4 Flameless Candles (obtained from playing the 2 mini-games)

To play the 2 mini-games, we'll have to collect 2 special auto production time that will be located in the bottom right corner of the event screen near the green carpet / hearth. The 2 timers will reward crates that will let us play the puzzle (Jolly Jigsaw) and the move wool in a basket (Yule Yarn) mini-games. There will also be 2 charged givers that will give out Bowl of Cookies and the Ornement Box:

Bowls of Cookies Receive these items when opened: 100 EP x Farm level, 25 CC x Farm level, 6 x Bowl of Cookies Cooldown time: 4 hours

Crate O' Ornament Boxes Receive these items when opened: 600 EP x Farm level, 15 CC x Farm level, 1 x Ornament Box Cooldown time: 23 hours

Skateboard Mayhem (+) Gives: 20000 EP / TEP, 2 x Power-feed (during event it rewards 3 x Bowls of Cookies instead of Power-feed) Time: 20 hours Size: 1x2 can be placed on the 3 main and 3 tropical lands, park, the lighthouse, sunflower hill, shipwreck bay, castaway coast, pet playground, cloudrow. Skateboard Mayhem (+) is a limited Charge item. It has 24 charges only.	Colorful Chaos (+) Gives: 20000 EP / TEP, 5 x Super-grow (during event it rewards 1 x Ornament Box instead of Super-grow) Time: 20 hours Size: 1x2 placeable on the 3 main and 3 tropical lands, park, sunflower hill, the lighthouse, shipwreck bay, castaway coast, cloudrow Colorful Chaos (+) is a limited Charge item. It has 24 charges only.
This giver is gained after completly finishing 13 mini-games in the Yule Yarn Mini-Game Screen Harvesting the timer tile at least 13 times	This giver is gained after placing down 180 puzzles pieces from the Jolly Jigsaw Mini-Game Screen Harvesting the timer tile 30 times

The Flameless Candles for the main event:

	Yule Yarn mini-game need to purchase them in the event shop	Jolly Jigsaw mini-game
Flameless Candle		1 Flameless Candle rewarded after placing 48 jigsaw puzzle pieces (harvesting the timer tile 8 times) 1 Flamless Candle rewarded after placing 105 jigsaw puzzle pieces (harvesting the timer tile 18 times)

Stocking Stuffing Bonus scene:

This scene is optional and will require donations from your barn:

12000000 barn value worth of breeding animals

This will reward 2 more high EP/TEP givers + 1 Piccolo Box

Northy, I knew that if any of us could make some sense of this mess of an event, it would be you! THANKS for starting the strategy thread!

My strategy is to, um, muddle through this as best I can on the usual farms. Dumbunny's farm hasn't been active much lately, but now that the shows are over, etc. I think I'll try this on 3 farms instead of two. I'm pretty sure I'm insane.

Do not forget to collect items on bottom right corner of event window. They are already available.
I have not made any strategies, I just planted my longest crops yesterday to get drops and now I started to crow event plant. There is plenty of time to figure out, what all I can do with them

 

I've just finished harvesting/planting this farm. Things I know: This event is going to be slow going and a real slog. We have to remember to harvest those lower right crates every 4 hours and every day - it may make the difference between finishing this or not.

I went as far as I could on this farm on the optional donation part of the event. I am hoping for a discount day this weekend to coincide with the last of the weekend quests. The last step - to get the piccolo box - you need to empty your barn of colored animals. Except, I already did that, ahem, a month ago. And this farm hasn't recovered, and I'm not sure SL's has either. And if not a discount day, at least a baby boom longer than 2 hours in the middle of the night. I don't know whose bright idea this is, but it stinks.

I decided for the foreseeable future to just do easy/simple events and the only part of this event I will do (already completed and set the Reindeer House on the Pet Playground!) is the Stocking Stuffer. I don't do many breeding events and had acquired several valuable critters so off they went to Santa's house and my cute Reindeer House is waiting to hatch. I don't understand the dynamics of its rewards, but no matter...it's a welcome and cute addition to the Playground!

Collect Crate O' Bowl of Cookies (4 hour giver in event window)and open it, you'll get Bowl of cookies. They are changed to puzzle pieces in mini game.

 

There is something terribly wrong. I delivered the goods for the first three ''plusses''. And now everything back to zero! Anyone else with the same problem?

 

You need to donate 1 Flameless Candle + 1000 Hollies. After clicking on 1 + sign, in the middle of that screen you'll see a drawing of a candle and beside that a drawing of the holly crop. You can click on both of them to do your donations. Once both are filled, the + signe will dissapear and you'll be able to move upward.

 

I know, only the candles were open; the restwas delivered.

Good day everyone. Please help me because I'm a bit confused, Star
Coins are given only for completing mini-games or as a consolation prize, a prize for unsuccessful completion as well? Because then the question arises, if for example there are 25 mini-games, then theoretically it turns out that after passing 20 mini-games we will receive 500 Star Coins, and after passing 4 times unsuccessfully or repeatedly (here it makes sense to understand the difference, I don’t know if anyone has tried to pass again , I haven't tried yet) we theoretically get another 60 Star Coins, and the last mini-game gives 25 Star Coins. So, we can theoretically get 585 Star Coins (that is, 15 additional Star Coins per game). Please correct me if I have misunderstood something, I will be very grateful.

 

So, to get 4 Flameless Candles we need to play 153 puzzle pieces (to get 2) AND do 140 StarCoins to get (another 2).

Then we can with crops do the bottom line in that "main event" NOT BEFORE if I´m right ?!

 

So, seems to be that way, this is "slow as snail"... I think I have those 35000 crops ready before Flameless Candles x4

And one time in the night have to collect that 4h box in main event window lower right corner... to play games to get FC´s

I don't harvest in the night. We have three weeks for this event. I am sure we can finish in this time.
We also have to sleep.
