Edelweiss Valley - Game Feature- Strategy Thread.

Normal means it looks like I could buy anything but master keys, which is grey, while I have no room in Misc inventory once again.
I have also other trees growing, but alpine apricots are solution to fill all the spots. It means I also have a lot of badges to recycle.

Perhaps you should ask mods to empty SL's server cache in technical problems, it sometimes solves strange problems in game.

 

Here is my full EV strategy: I generally keep a total of 15 Alpine Apricots out with one of everything else, unless there is a short term need for a quest. This strategy allows me to generally 'keep up' with my lumbar needs. I keep 10 Alpine Apricot seeds and 4 seeds of all other trees. I use the crop speed up (10BB for 50) to get the grow time to about 3 hours or the best it can be. More if I need a crop for a quest.

On the crop side, I put out every other row with mushrooms to gain the +1 and then manage the rest of my crops to keep about 250ish on each one. With the exception of the Pink and Yellow first flowers we got and I keep them about even and as many as my barn will hold. I find when a quest wants these, they want A LOT. When I harvest, I don't harvest all the mushrooms, just one or two rows depending on if I need them for a quest.This prevents me from using all my white lumber too quickly. I use the one speed up on the yellow flowers to get them to be ready about the time of the pink flowers. Others I use the Synch (if I have them) and speed up to come close to the 1.5 hours or as many speed ups as a crop will take. Seed wise, I keep enough seeds in mushrooms to refill if I pull up all rows, same with pink and yellow flowers. All others, I max at 5 each, if I have the misc item to make that many.

I still get in trouble with the barn for tree fruit and crops, and then I make a badge. I keep the misc items about 150-200 max as I have not had too many more than that at one time. I am envious that some of you have had enough Consumable Goods to max out. I have come no where near max, ever. LOL

Everyone's strategy is a little different. And we all get to play the same game. Eventually, we all level up and enjoy the rewards of a new tree or plant. Good luck with what strategy works for you.

 

This farm isn't even remotely there (yet), but sewinglady's farm does indeed recycle badges...heavy sigh. And excess tree fruit and excess flowers.

The barn capacities wouldn't bother me so much, except that the customers ask for 500+ of some items some days. Really? I can't keep that many of anything in the barn - there's no room! So disappointed customers it is!

Yay! And there's a power sprawl sale on now, but I'm not able to purchase the larger pack on either of my farms. Not sure why.

I have not been working on Edelweiss Valley for quite a while. I just found that I have some Alpenrose seeds but I can't find a way to plant them. When I tried to click on a plot to plant crop seeds, I can only choose from trees.

I am at Level 9

The Northern Woods is only for trees

 

There is a problem with the large package of power sprawl and the Team hoped it would be fixed today, but it won't be fixed during this run of the sale. You can still purchase the small package to help tide you over until the sale is offered again. Watch the Mini Events announcements for its return.

 

The issue with the large packages also includes the insta-tree sale. Very disappointing to my main farm as that one's getting a little "desperate" for those.

I am hoping that once the issue with the payment system is resolved these sales might return.
