Starting with the wrong picture in the faq of the drops

 

Hi

As far as I understand, it's worth putting the "best upgrades" on fields, both Stables and Workshops, as they give you all three DROPs.

Plants are grown later, am I right and do I understand correctly?

OR is the FAQ still WRONG ?

p.s. 600 and 750 DROPS from animals and W-shops !?! How is that possible? Do I get those from chickens and cokkoos too (under 2h animals)?

 

My math (if correct, considering the drop rate 1:1 from each stall/workshop) says that it's about 8.5 full harvests of stalls from both fields, a bit under 7 full harvests of workshops from both fields, and 24.5 harvests of crop from main field... If my math is correct, this may not be doable without additional superfeed and supergrow ..

 

We get event plants and drops from playing the mini games as well as the event is 13 days long so my plan is to fill both fields with stables and shops tonight including put out all my menageries and manufactories and see what the initial drop rate is after first harvest and then adjust accordingly.

We have both stable and workshop buffs that can help reduce the time so it will be important to select items that fit with each person's availability to harvest.

Since paper flowers come from breeding, I'm hoping to see a Baby boom soon.

I started playing in 2012 so I haven't been with Farmerama since the beginning but I sure hope the game has many more years. I've enjoyed this game for a long time and like that as a community we can earn nice prizes together

Ok, so here goes what I can make out of the FAQ for this event:

There's 8 different tasks to be filled during the event: 4 of them are meant to be done by growing event crops and getting 3 different drops, the other 4 tasks are meant to be filled by tree fruits/animals/products/breeding animals donations.

Event crop & drops are:

Event crop:	Event drop from animal stalls:	Event drop from workshops:	Event drop from breeding
Piñatunia Time: 6 hours Gives (2x2): 240 EP Plantable on the Main field only!	Sombrero You will get these drops when harvesting your stables on the Main field and Green Meadow only!	Maracas You will get these drops when harvesting your workshops on the Main field and Green Meadow only!	Paper Flower You will get 2 x Paper Flowers guaranteed, with each breeding process completed!

Event crop and tree fruits (task 1 & 2): Koala
task 1: 15 000 Piñatunias
task 2: 150 000 worth of barn value of tree fruits + 7500 x Farm level of barn value of tree fruits (this will be different for each player)

Animal stalls and Sombrero drop (task 3 & 4): Crocodile
Task 3: 750 Sombreros
Task 4: 50 000 worth of barn value of animals + 4000 x farm level of barn value of animals (this will be diffrent for each player)

Workshops and Maracas drop (taks 5 & 6): Swallow
Task 5: 600 Maracas
Task 6: 75 000 worth of barn value of products + 4750 x farm level of barn value of products (this will be different for eveyone)

Breeding and Paper flower drop (taks 7 & 8 ): Sloth
Task 7: 500 Paper flowers
Task 8: 200 000 worth of barn value of breeding animals + 15000 x farm level of barn value of breeding animals (this will be different for everyone)

Players will not get immediate prizes after filling the 8 tasks above. Players have to successfully play the mini-games to raise the value of the global multiplier. There's 30 mini-games to be played for each animal, so a total of 120 mini-games.

To play the mini game, players will need 2 Birthday Tokens :

Birthday Token

You will get these drops when harvesting your crops, trees, stables and workshops on the Main field and Green Meadow only!

You have a small chance of receiving 1 x Birthday Token with each breeding process
completed.

Each mini game will require players to collect a specific amount of 1 item under a certain amount of moves. In the exemple bellow, the player must collect 25 blueberries under 10 moves (see the item and amount listed on the wood panel on the left side of the screen):



Successfully completing 1 mini game will raise the Global bonus mutliplier. At the end of the event, the prizes awarded to the player will be muliplied by that Global bonus (from x1 to x5). That's how a player can get the 5 curtain upgrades for each of the 4 givers. The Global bonus multiplier is determined by all the active players of Farmerama: if you have more than 1 farm you should try to play as much mini games as you can.

The Birthday Olé Magic Stalk Row 1 can be won after completing the 8 tasks.

The Birthday Olé Magic Stalk Row 2 is only available to players who will buy the XL Birthday Basket at 16.99$.

There's some event drops that can be obtained by successfully playing mini games:

Koala mini games: up to 410 Piñatunias after playing 30 mini games
Crocodile mini games: up to 99 Sombreros after playing 30 mini games
Robin mini games: up to 99 Maracas from playing 30 mini games
Sloth mini games: up to 99 Paper Flowers from playing 30 mini games

After completing the 30 mini games, players can spend 60BBs to restart and play the mini games again. This means that tehnically players can buy all the necessary event drops by reseting the mini games over and over with BBs.

Ends: Wednesday, 5th of February at 22:00 CET (UTC+1)

Edit 2: The Birthday Olé Magic Stalk Row 1 is obtained after the requirements bellow

If a player completes all 8 tasks and all 120 mini games, the total contribution to the global counter is 100k. No BB's required.

Total global counter requirement is 6 Billion and a player will be awarded the cloud row once they complete at least one task and all 4 meters are at 100%.

We're still in the clutches of Arctic cold. Know it's not unusual for many, but for us here, it's a rare phenomena...a once in a generation event!

 

We've been in the grips of cold weather for a few weeks now, but as MeadowCrossing notes, we're used to it here in Montana. The southern states aren't. Stay warm and stay safe, MC! (and anyone else who isn't used to this white fluffy/slushy stuff!)

Okay, I have thoughts about this event. Some of them, I'm going to keep to myself because I don't want to go in the penalty box.

I think this event is a grand whoop-de-doo to get us to drain our bank accounts. Upgrades that must be purchased. And an entire second cloud row that must be purchased. Honestly, I don't mind - I spend my money on this game all the time, but I know that not every player does. And, I'm not sure that it's worth spending our money on those particular parts of this event. If you choose to do so, fine. If you don't, fine. I definitely think this is one of those - do what you can, reap what rewards you can, and let the rest go events. (PS - if my FOCD kicks in, please remind me I said this).

So THIS particular farm is going to have an issue with one segment - workshops. This farm doesn't have any out, doesn't normally, so I don't have a lot in inventory, etc.

Since we have two full weeks, I think I can get this figured out and work on it on both this farm and SL's. I don't think I am going to even try to do this on the baby farms.

So I'm off to see what I can do on my main field and green meadow. Ugh.

 

Thanks Northy job well done as usual! I will attempt to do this event. I will grow the crops on Mainland and hopefully get the drops from pens, trees and factories on Gr Meadow. I will see how that works, and I will not turn anything in for a few days to see where I am at.
I will try to get CR1 and forget about the 2nd one as I do not buy baskets to do events...just Super grow Good luck however you choose to play!

 

So, I planted slow growing crops for dropitems. I think I was wrong doing this, if I read the table above correctly.
I couldn't finish the last two events, I think I can't finish this one either.

Firstly there is Global Contributions Element included into this Event, which we not seen for couple of years in Farmerama.

Global Contributions

The global counter has five stages. With each level reached, the rewards from the individual tasks are multiplied.

Plants + Trees	1,500,000,000 points	Increase the reward x 1
Stables	1,500,000,000 points	Increase the reward x 1
Workshops	1,500,000,000 points	Increase the reward x 1
Breeding animals	1,500,000,000 points	Increase the reward x 1

The Fifth Stage is complete All Tasks for:

• Plants and Trees Donations [Task 2]
• Stables Donations [Task 4]
• Workshop Donations [Task 6]
• Breeding Donations [Task 8]

This Event will run just under two weeks Minimum

Sombrero

We have no idea what drops rates will be like we shall just pan it out and see how it goes, But All means posting here your findings and experiments

Firstly you need Two Birthday Tokens per Mini Game

We can use both buffs and Crop Refinements on using Crops

We can use 5 x Flower Arts ( 5 X 20% Deducted Stable Time ) Technically get instant Sombreros harvesting All Coloured Stables Neon, Pink, Red, Yellow and Base Stalls

But getting Maracas from Workshops will be much harder and more Tricky we have buffs reducing workshops but won't reduce workshops times much as most Workshops have long duration times I am only referring to Normal Fields , many workshops due require several animals plus animal feed as would be wise to consider costs of these critters and animal feed costs into your Strategy Planning for this event

Breeding, We have buffs that gives us Instant Breeding, Each Breeding gives us 2x Paper Flowers also slim chance of Birthday Token per Breeding Hut
For those who do not have instant breeding will need Good stock of Phermones

I have started but seems so complicated for a Birthday event. I am using the odd plots round the animal pens to start to increase my seeds.
I seem to remember that the last global event was a bit of a disaster but cannot remember what the outcome was. Perhaps they have lowered the requirements this time but is does seem a bit hit and miss as to whether we will get what we hope for. Perhaps I will be proved wrong, I do hope so.

 

I'll wait for a babyboom.

 

The best tactic in my opinion is:

Play all the 120 (4 animals x 30 mini games each) mini-games and collect the event crop and drops (410 event crops, 99 event drops of the 3 different kinds). That will lower the amount of animal stalls/workshops/breedings drops by 99 each, so less breeding (saving power feed) and less stalls to harvest too. Best for me is to put menageries & manufactories on the Green Meadow while harvesting the event crop on the main field.

Fill the 8 tasks (2 per animal) to finish this event. This will secure the cloud row and raise the Global bonus multiplier to x5 to get all the necessary curtain upgrades for the 4 givers (one per animal).

Players should start playing the mini games now and not wait at the end of the event to do so! Don't forget that to raise the Global bonus multiplier, a player must complete the task set by the mini game itself (get X amount of 1 item under Y amount of moves). Else the mini game is lost and will not raise the Global bonus multiplier.

EDIT: Magic Trees do not drop Birthday Tokens

 

I finished 25 of the 30 plantgames. The left column doesn't always work. Anyone else with the same problem?

Playing all the minigames was my plan too, but when I click on any of the tasks it's asked for 2 tokens, instead of 1 Is that so?

Off to a good start

I messed up the mini game because at first I tried to click the objects instead of dragging them. I thought the game was broken

Edit: I'm also grateful that if we have to have a limited amount of moves that we can extend the play with another birthday coin rather than losing the mini game and having to start over.

 

I had stalls and workshops in both fields and trees, where they did not fit. Now I grow event plant on main field. I played mini games to get more plants. It is the first thing you should do to help this event. Now I have menangeries, manufactory and stalls and workshops with some trees on green meadows. When my arboretums are ready, I will move them there as well.

And I did not pay attention, what the goal of mini game was. I dragged them and I was pleased to get rows, but mostly something else, which was asked .
