Happy Snow Day

This is a grow & throw kind of event:

Event crop:	Event drop:
Sprouting Snowman Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes Gives (2x2): 220 EP plantable on the Green Meadow only!	Snowball You will get these drops while harvesting your crops and trees on the main field and green meadow only!

To get the cloud row, a 120 contributions in total must be made on both left & right task lists. The 3 givers needed for the cloud row are spread over the 3 tasklists:

level 45 on the left tasklist (giver)
level 43 on the right tasklist (giver)
90 donations made on the main progress bar (giver)
120 donations made on the main progress bar (cloud row)

Here are the numbers to get the cloud row (60 donations on the left tasklist and 60 donations on the left tasklist) or to complete the event:

To get cloud row + 3 givers 60 donations left tasklist + 60 donations right tasklist	Fully complete the event 75 donations left tasklist + 75 donations right tasklist
11293 Sprouting Snowmen 959 Snowball	14818 Sprouting Snowmen 1130 Snowball

The drops numbers are pretty low for dropping from two fields so the drop rate may be low. On the other hand, the number of event crops needed are high for just one field.

There's some nice prizes such as 2 Piccolo Boxes, 1 Multitasking Genius (EP/TEP boosting charged giver) and some wonder trees & stalls.

Thank you so much @Nordais for the kick-off and yet another great strategy thread. I am in despite the fact that RL is keeping me really very busy and the event crop requirements are a bit high for just one field.

Thanks, Northy. Love your charts and comments and appreciate all the effort made to provide info so quickly after a new event is announced.

As much as I love the crop, and rewards sound nice, I shall sit out this one as I really need to focus on RL and some tasks with looming timelines! I was too distracted during the last event to give the focus I should have done. Now with so many goodies from that event (thanks to everyone's efforts) I have a bounty to unwrap and that will keep me happy for a while

Update: Decided to keep my farms as they are and use the 150 plots on Meadow for the event crop - it's just too cute to resist! Main field is long grow crops. My supply of crops/critters/etc for Season is sufficient, so I'll see how far I get in this. Hope everyone has fun and is enjoying the rewards from last event. Another lovely calendar coming up for Valentines...we are totally spoiled with goodies!

crops and drops BUT I am tired of staring at them sooo I will go with yours lol Good luck everyone!

 

yeah those numbers are not correct but they are close - which means to say for one field, and a 6 day timeframe, the requirements to complete this event are very high.

We need to make 4 harvests per day on average of 600 sprouting snowmen per harvest in order to complete this event.

PS: I just did a rough calculation and we only need roughly 3 harvests of 450 sprouting snowmen per day to get the cloud row. so that is not too hard compared to completing it.

 

I redid the math over and over and the numbers I've posted are the right ones.

The first 60 levels of the left side are: 584 Snowballs and 4427 Sprouting Snowmen
To do the additionnal 15 levels to complete the left side: 3525 Sprouting Snowmen

The first 60 levels of th right side are: 6866 Sprouting Snowmen and 375 Snowballs
To do the additionnal 15 levels to complete the right side: 171 Snowballs

60 levels left side + 60 levels right side = 11293 Sprouting Snowmen and 959 Snowballs
75 level left side + 75 levels right side = 14818 Sprouting Snowmen and 1130 Snowballs

 

Northy I have no doubt that your numbers are correct! I kept doing them over and over also in sections just like you BUT
my numbers kept coming up all slightly different! I know my mouse sometimes sticks but there was no way I was doing them again!

So if I understand right - 26000 plants and over 2000 drops, combined those 2 lines?

 

No IF you want to do the total 75 levels on the left and right side you will need a total of 14,818 event crops and a total of
1,130 event drops
IF you only want to do 60 levels on both left and right side you would then only need 11,293 event crops and 959 event drops

don't forget to fill the main playing field with trees for additional snowball drops if you haven't yet.

ps although Northy's numbers are correct after all, to get the cloud row it seems easier to do 75 levels on the right and 45 levels on the left which requires roughly 10,000 snowmen

instead of 60 on both sides. Just a tiny observation if ppl can't farm the full amounts needed

 

OK... Yes - I understand that and have 11800 now and 44 Comfort Fields total 71 of every plot so I have DONE (event)PLANTS 12:30 Local - so Drops then and Those I have now 740 (and 44 to come...) = 784, "almost there"

 

Why trees? They are normally give drops worse than crops. I dumped all tree to my storage and have only crops and Howies on main field.

Right side gives Piccolo box, so it may be better do it first. There is many different combos to achieve just cloud row. I am aiming to finish all.

 

good point. I thought I had to plant trees. Seems I have been getting too little sleep doing these events and not reading the instructions propery. Now I am wondering if I should go for crops.... I think you are right, crops is probably a better choice. Thanks for pointing that out

I'm still making my way through the event and, as ever, hoping for a crop bonus on the wheel.

Drops are good so I have converted my main field to wonder stables and Baha is in workshops with Happy Workshop going on. So much to keep track of!
