Okay, back on topic. We can finally play the third set of fields. yay. I think. I was able to mill FOUR event items today on this farm. I have plenty of event crop...heavy sigh. I think I'm going to switch out to event crops 24/7 on Baha and long long long (amaranth!) crops on main field for drops.

This event just keeps going on, started on Borsty today but I still need so many crops and drops, they keep taking turns at being needed! I did stop using SG and SSG for a day or so cos I thought I could get to the end without going to too much trouble but got that wrong - again! Just determined now ... so much SG and SSG used to get this far.

Why this is NOT (9+9+9)*3=81 games? Why someone tells 72 and some 75 games?

Now need 3 chips to BORSTY and all upgrades are "Home"... Givers go to the FIELDS, CR´s not needed them.

so I need 5 more games, so played 76, don´t know how many crops or Drops.

I don't understand this event, I read the faq but I'm sure I've missed something. i've been playing lots of games but I haven't seen any of the stuff that you can upgrade something and I haven't seen any of the chips that you can buy stuff from the borsty or ursine side of the game shop

what did I miss?

I tried reading the FAQ again and I don't understand what this means

Each Team Character's Ball can be upgraded a maximum of 9 times. You can claim the rewards any time, if you reach the 9th upgrade, prize rewards automatically are booked and a pop up informs you of your reward.
Each Ball upgrade won in the mini-game is automatically applied to the character's played soccer ball.

I thought the soccer balls on the field are the upgrades but the upgrade button has never been green.
You need to buy a basket for the pumps to use them?

 

When you play the mini game you have to look for the football/soccer ball upgrade:



When you pick it up, you're ball will gain a level. This is good for that particular adversary, if you go and play another game with another character, you're ball will not be upgraded. Like you said, the top level is #9, once you reach it you will recieve 3 tokens from that character that can be used to buy the base giver and its upgrades. One of the other prize you get when you reach level 9 is a air/ball pump. They can be used to raise the level of your ball by 1 or, if you fail to finish a mini game with your 5 tries, you'll have to option to use one air/ball pump to save the level of your ball with that character, else it will reset to 0.

If you plan on getting the 3 givers and all their upgrades, you need to play 27 mini games with the same characters. This will raise de level of you ball to 9 three times, giving you 9 character tokens and letting you buy the base giver and 7 upgrades. You can do that with the rabbit and the bear. That means at least 54 mini games. I'm keeping my air/ball pumps for the third character: the boar. This would mean getting 6 air/ball pumps from playing those 54 mini games. Playing another 18 games with the boar would reward 2 more air/ball pumps (making a total of 8 pumps). So 24 games with the rabbit + 27 games with the bear + 18 games with the boar makes 72 games. After that, use your 8 air/ball pumps on your ball and play one final mini game with the boar character and you should be able to get everything in the shop with the characters' tokens. That's a total of 73 games needed to get all 3 givers and their upgrades. Since each player got 1 Fan Goodies to play a free game, players need to mill 72 of them:

Thanks, Nordais, i've been collecting the balls since they're pretty hard to miss, and I just got to level 9 with Ursine again... but again, I didn't get any of the character tokens for the shop. It just starts again at Stage 0, level 1. I did that once before, with the same result.I've done the bunny rounds, and got no tokens, it starts again at stage 0, level 1.


usch this event has me so confused.

And I don't know how to save the air pumps because I have never received any of them either.

 

My apologies for posting the wrong number of games early in the event. To get the 8 chips to buy the givers and their associated upgrades, I calculated 25 games each (9+9+7), but forgot to count the ball pumps that we get that can be used for Borsty which will decrease the total number of games.

I did not mean to add to the confusion of the event and so have deleted my post.

If you have not received air pumps, then you may be claiming the rewards rather than letting them build as the pumps are automatically awarded when you upgrade the ball to level 9.

 

If you reached level 9 you should have had the tokens and 1 air pump. If you didn't you should post in the technical issues section. The tokens are strangely shaped. If you go into the Star Coin Shop and select the "Super Stricker" tab you should be able to see the 3 tokens you received for reaching level 9 with the rabbit character.

Don't forget PnP that if you claim the ball prize ate level 7 to get the last 2 tokens, you'll miss air pumps for borsty character. So a few more games needed to be played to get his last tokens.

 

I didn't claim the ball prize at level 7 but rather played through to level 9. I was just explaining my thought process in the beginning that influenced my post which apparently has caused confusion. Not my intention at all

I didn't add any comments this week due to not feeling well and foggy brain so I wasn't able to clarify my original comments. My apologies for any upset caused to others.

By playing to level 9, I had an extra chip that I exchanged for star coins. I have gone ahead and redeemed my star coins rather than waiting until the end so I didn't forget to spend them. I did that last season and had over 20 tokens that I missed benefit from.

 

Sorry about the fuzzy brain, it's not a good feeling at all... Althought, they way the new version of the event works made everyone go fuzzy brain!

 

I have nearly finished, one Fan Goody to mill and I'm done. I have not really understood what we were supposed to do, I over-ran with the bunny by 2 balls, played 9 balls on the bear and will do 10 lots of 3 on Borsty - so that's a lot more games than stated above. I make that 86!

But I will have all the upgrades for all three EP items so goal achieved (pun intended!) which I wouldn't have got if I had not carried on. I probably missed some vital piece in this oh so complex event!

This farm and SL's both have all the CRs up and running. I've bought all the extra givers and the upgrades for them. Spent most of the star coins in the store. Why one at a time for the PF, etc.? Ugh, that's a lot of clicking.

Still growing event crop as there are some goodies to be had from playing additional games.

Okay, anyone know why on Borsty's fields there's a thing SL's farm got that was negative EP - LOTS of negative EP.

 

I have reached my goal and finished with this event! I ended up with 906 "Star Coins" and all 3 event givers with the curtain up grades completed for each one! To any of my friends and neighbors who see this I no longer need the event gift so please send it to someone who may need it! Good luck and I hope you all reach your goals too!
