If I understand correctly that we can skip some gold and diamond steps in the quests.

In this case, both Cloud Rows and Giver items and upgrades are required:

At the start of the event,15 excavation tools will be reserved for each player.

Thanks Chamomile* for doing the sums. Can I just confirm these are the figures to get the CR and EP items for the CR or to complete the event?
Well, it seems a lot and I am still travelling with some days not being able to farm ( )but it is for two weeks and I will do what I can and try to catch up when I get home. I have a +300% Overal Harvest buff that might come in handy!

Thanks @Chamomile* for the numbers. I think that we need to fully complete each quest to finish the puzzle associated to it. There's 25 puzzles in total (number 0-24 = 25 puzzles). From the prize table, there's 18 puzzles with specific prizes:

Here are the rewards for each completed Jigsaw Puzzle:

From that list, puzzles #1, #3, #4, #6, #13, #16 and #20 are missing in the prize list, 7 in total. Logic tells me that these are linked with the 7 quests and must be completed to unlock routes on the map.

This note has appeared and wasn't there earlier:

Note: The first Jigsaw Puzzle requires Excavation Tools to exchange for Puzzle pieces. Further Jigsaw Puzzles require milling the Crystal Skulls to exchange for Puzzle pieces.

So if we need to mill crystal skulls to get puzzles pieces, the numbers doesn't add up if 1 crystal skull = 1 puzzle piece. This FAQ is not clear at all.

Also, since quests 6 & 7 will only be available on 25th of September, the total amount of event crops, drops & other stuff cannot be calculated.

 

Thank you Nordais... What you have posted is kind of what I thought when I read the faqs early this morning! It IS very hard to do a two week event or any event when you can't figure the starting point (speaking for myself) and what crops and drops you need and how many!

The English FAQ doesn't clearly state the tasks we have to complete to unlock the puzzles.

I am glad the numbers have been crunched for us, and thank you. Unfortunately I will not be doing this event. I decided that I will only do grow and throw events in future. This one has much to much for me. Good luck to everyone and Happy Farming.

I hope there will be a chance to get few more apart of tasks in farmhouse, when doing my regulars, will miss around level and half to the 39...

 

I'm a bit confused about rewards. The Early Explorers Get The Diamond event item gives 9000 x farm level EP or TEP every 23 hours, but the Raiders of the Lost Puzzle Magic Stalk Row 1 only gives low level crates every 44 hours. Am I right that not using that 1st stalk row and putting out items on park or elsewhere would be more profitable?

 

My calculation are 4 times "sometihing else" but 95% are same...

for what ELSE we need those than QUESTS?

 

Total skip for me, so good friends and neighbors, please do not send me any associated drops. I'm thinking like farmerumf to skip all but grow and throw. RL schedule isn't meshing with game and I personally will have more enjoyment from the game by making my own goals. But I am enjoying seeing new players with lots of enthusiasm (and much better math skills than I!). Good luck everyone and wishing all an enjoyable game no matter how you play.

 

Im not questioning your numbers, I just wanted to point out that when the FAQ was put up, not all related infos were publish...

You're lucky to be able to read the Romanian FAQ! I didn't active google translate (never works properly anyway) but I could get by with my French (so cool argint, aur & diamant are so close to French). I'm a bit jealous because the Romanian FAQ has Quests 6 & 7 already listed with the requirements, each puzzle has a specific number of puzzle pieces needed...This is an extensive inventory draining event that takes place about 6 weeks before the Fall Harvest Event. No new players can even consider doing this unless the have tons and tons of CCs on hand or really good neighbours in their markets to help!

Having one crop with a 5h harvest and the second event crop with a 5h30 harvest time is pure evil. I'm starting to think that these new events are AI generated and we're the guinea pigs testing them.

 

Both event crops have a 5 hour harvest time. There is an error in the FAQ.

Thank you Camomile* and Nordais for all the work you put in and trying to make it all more understandable for us.
I'm overwhelmed with all the numbers of crops and items needed in this event. First reaction is 'don't do the event'. Catsylvania has a great pull however. So I'm torn. Think I'll start and see where it'll take me without completely emptying my barn nor buying extra SSG and such.
