Raiders Of The Lost Puzzle - Strategy

I'm not doing the event, so can't say what's the drop rate for amber vs excavation tools, but traditional wisdom says we get the most drops from 1x1 plots with our longest grow crop. When I've done an event in the past, I plant my longest grow crop overnight on all event fields and use buffs for that crop plus water and manure to speed up the process. In this event, drops are given for crops and trees on all three mainland fields, and if it were me, I'd clear off all my fields and put down 1x1 plots and harvest longest crop overnight, then use a combination of event crops on their respective fields and my longest daytime harvest crop on the Glade with as many buffs as I have available for the Glade crops. I'm sure others have their strategies and I hope you find something that helps you get the needed items.

 

Yes, it is valid for 3 main areas, I put sage in two areas and goats and rabbits in one area.

 

Yes, you can use any of the 3 mainlands to do the timed quests. I put the sage on main farm, goats on Meadow and rabbits on Glade so I could just move from one timed quest to the next.

I have finally finished the "Timed Quest" portion! Like everyone else who has completed this, I am now waiting for Thursday to be able to continue with this event! Interesting concept as I don't know why BP would do this! Anyway, good luck to all and as always, I hope we reach our goals!

 

I'm not doing the event, so have no experience, but I was wondering yesterday if the reason they have the gap is because usually a 'new' event rolls out on Thursdays and there was none this week.

 

Despite mu consistent work, the products produced by the trees and plants are

insufficient. Will all my efforts be in vain?

Well, I'm pretty sure my efforts on this farm are going to be in vain. This one is lagging far behind and likely won't finish. Ugh.

 

We still have a week to go. Don't give up yet!

I am not a fan of doing the same puzzle 3 times, especially the snakes

Just need to do the timed quests for lavender and moles.

 

I was very busy in real life today, tomorrow I will be able to grow lavender and moles, all puzzles are finished, good luck to everyone, I hope all farmers achieve their goals.

 

SL's farm has to harvest the lavender and moles. Has one more triplet of puzzles to complete - milling the crystal skulls now.

This farm isn't even to the first set of timed harvests. So I've decided to give up after this next harvest and donate whatever I can, play off whatever puzzles I can and be happy with whatever rewards I can reap. Honestly, I'm not so sure that leaving the givers on the playfields isn't the better option anyway.

I'm lagging behind. Went on a 4 day girlfriend trip (only logged in a few times)
I cannot get into the Return to Aquanautica puzzle b/c I keep spending my ammonitia plants on another puzzle. Ugh!!!
Also running low on excavator tools. Why do I have almost 9k of skullette...am I going to need loads later???
I've been playing for 15 years, but recently feel like a newbie with events

 

I have done it = 100% sure, but it shows OPEN that "Backyard Explorers" - there is a tag in WOOD silver is open, Rubin locked but 100% sure completed all of those!

I think it is only an image problem. I have the same.

 

I was worried about that also. I did all 3 yesterday and it hasn't shown done yet. I did get the prizes but it worries me.

That problem ABOVE, is visual:
You have a check mark indicating you have finished it. The reason it still shows a Play button is because the quests are traditionally Silver, Gold and Diamond levels but this one is just the 3 timed quests. It is a visual issue only. You've received the rewards for completing the quest and it is not preventing you from moving on.

 

Ditto to that! I waited impatiently for 'Thursday' and now I find that top left "The Heart of the Sea" only looked done!
(ticked). So now I need more puzzle pieces/crops.... Hirumph.

 

I have a plant revenue bonus which states more harvest for your field crops. Gold category.
Will this be effective on event crops?
